Once, twice, thrice, and forever more,

A plea for affection, at your heart's door.

Wait for me, change for me, for love's sweet sake,

Embrace this emotion, let our hearts awake.

I'm lost in the passion, a devotion so strong,

But my heart trembles, afraid it's done wrong.

I hate feeling this way, this pain, this despair,

Why must I suffer, is it fair, is it rare?

I long for admiration, like stars in the night,

But why does it hurt, this internal fight?

Am I not deserving of love and delight,

Just like I admire those in my sight?

This journey within, so tangled and wild,

Aching to be cherished, like an innocent child.

Yet the answers elude me, as tears start to flow,

In this sea of emotions, I'm tossed to and fro.

I seek solace and comfort, in love's warm embrace,

Hoping one day, this torment will erase.

So I'll carry on, through the darkness and pain,

Hoping love will find me, like a gentle rain.

Lifting my chin, setting my soul free.

My heart skipped beat in sheer delight,

Her gaze, like stars, so bright and true,

With a radiant smile, she said, "I like you."

A joyful rush surged through my core,

A love so pure, forevermore,

Our lips met, a union sweet,

The sky above, a witness to our tale,

In love's embrace, we found our way,

And together, we'd dance and sway.

So, to the sky, I lift my gaze,

Grateful for love's unexpected craze,

For in that moment, love did prove,

Sometimes dreams do come true.
