✪ - THAT BEING SAIDDD… He would consider you the exception due to you still being energetic, and he appreciates your passion and enthusiasm when it comes to the things you do, and eventually the things you do together. When you would be more calm and chill about things, he would always say something about ‘missing your fiery spirit!’

✪ - Once you two get in a relationship, he honestly starts to see the more relaxed attitude you have as just another thing to love about you. After a while he might even try to see what this whole ‘candles and incense’ thing is all about, not understanding in the slightest why you like it so much…

✪ - You’ll always have to ease him into actually relaxing when he’s trying your ‘lazy hippie stuff’, as he would sit straight as an arrow if he were to ever sit in a candlelit circle. Once he does relax and becomes more calm and comfortable, the only signs he’s becoming so is that his face gets more nuetral and his shoulders detense. He totally doesn’t grow to kinda like the ‘waste of time hippie activities’ or anything…

1. I would prefer to have each character be requested in a seperate ask from one another, just so it’s easier for me to do them in different posts! If all of the characters are requested for in a single ask, the post would be pretty big, and I like to keep them short just for my own sake.

♡ - She has very very dramatic mood swings, and this would probably apply for the relationship as well. You definitely have to deal with bouts of ghosting, love bombing, etc

♡ - You have to act as her impulse control lots, especially when it comes to how protective she can be over you and the relationship. Someone gives you two a dirty look on the street? You have to stop her from pulling out a knife. She’s having a bad week and is getting emotional? You have to stop her from taking it out on someone/something

♡ - She would need constant reassurance in the relationship and that you still love her, especially when she starts spiraling with anxiety, but she would also be very very ready to remind you just how important you are to her as well

He’s always been very high energy and very proactive, and he sees these things as just another thing he can do to keep himself occupied! If you do have a problem with it at any point, he would find it very hard to keep himself from doing things for you

♡ - On the other hand, his high energy means he’s a very high maintenance partner. He constantly wants to do stuff with you, constantly wants to talk with you, he just doesn’t ever get tired of you! But you definitely might get tired of him, and it takes a while for him to understand that you still need personal time away from the relationship now and then

♡ - Not the most emotionally mature, he definitely wouldn’t really understand the more complicated problems that might arise in a relationship. He would definitely try to fix conflicts with taking you out for a nice meal or just being even more affectionate instead of actually facing the conflict head on, and this can def lead to its own problems

♡ - Would be your absolute biggest cheerleader. Everything you do is wonderful to him. You made dinner? It’s the best thing he’s ever tasted! You made a painting for him? ♡ - When you guys do start dating, it’s a very different story. He never feels ashamed or embarrassed to show just how much he loves you. Coming from the underground full of death, he cherishes every single moment with you

♡ - Very gentle with you, basically treats you like glass. He sees you as perfect, so he could even refrain from touching you in fear he might hurt you

♡ - Also very paranoid about your well-being. Constantly needs to know where you are and if you’re safe, and really only feels like you’re safe when he’s next to you. This might border on controlling a few times, but he would try to stop if you tell him you don’t like it

♡ - Not embarrassed about PDA at all. He would hold hands with you and call you petnames in public if it meant you felt loved

♡ - Not the best at receiving love, he just wouldn’t really believe what you say. He would just try to divert the conversation if you started telling him how much you love him

♡ - Love language is definitely physical touch. He would randomly just start holding you while you guys sit on the couch, he would instinctively link your arms when you guys walk together, basically any touch he loves

♡ - Would love to cook for you. Where he’s from, food means the world, so he thinks cooking for you is the truest form of showing you how much he cares. He becomes speechless anytime you return the favour and cook something for him as well. Again, for you it’s just a meal, for him it’s much more than that

You woke up to the sound of grumbling beside you.

You blinked your eyes open, trying to shake off your sleep, and you found your boyfriend had also woken up. He was always grumpy waking up in the morning (well, grumpier than usual), but today seemed especially bad for him.

“I don’t wanna get outta bed today,” Was the very first thing he said, dragging his hand down his face, “Christ, just woke up and my head is already fuckin’ pounding.”

You hummed slightly, holding him closer to you in your shared bed as you still tried to wake up, “We don’t have to get out of bed just yet… I’ll get you some medicine when we do though.”

Sans huffed, putting an arm around you, “Sounds good… we can’t fall asleep again though, Paps would kill us if we’re late to his little training sesh.”

You two laid like that for a few more minutes, and when Sans’ headache was getting to the point of him sitting up to hold his head in his hands, you decided it was time to get up.

You stumbled out of the bed and left the room, making your way to the bathroom to grab the over-the-counter painkillers Sans had. It was a brand specifically made for monsters, as a lot of them dealt with various body aches. You assumed it was due to the tension they always held.

As you tried to find the correct bottle amongst all the vitamins and other medicines, you heard a slight shuffling behind you. A pair of hands soon found your waist, and a cranky skeleton head had rested on your shoulder.

“I might be outta commission today,” He sighed, “How long does it take you to find a damn bottle?”

“Don’t see you doing it yourself, you big baby,” You retorted, finally finding the bottle stuffed behind a bottle of toothpaste.

“Can’t be mean to me, I’m in pain. Thought you humans were s’pposed to be the nice ones,” He said with a slight grin as you handed him the bottle.

He took two of the pills as you both headed downstairs to the kitchen, and Sans made a dramatic sigh as he landed on the couch.

“Can you make me breakfast?” He asked, twiddling slightly with the black sleeve of his hoodie.

“No,” You stated, sitting next to him, “Once that medicine kicks in you’ll be fine.”

“Nahhhhhhh,” He laid himself over your lap, making you smirk slightly, “I don’t know, maybe the pills are defective.”

“Really? They weren’t defective when you took some to go drinking at Grillby’s.”

Sans chuckled, making himself comfortable as he held his arms behind his head, “Maybe a nice head massage might work?” He was giving you his signature smug grin, his gold tooth flashing at you.

You were quiet for a moment, giving him a dirty look before you sighed, “The things I do for you…”

He let out a celebratory laugh, quickly sitting up so he was sitting directly in your lap and facing you.

“Uh… you sure you don’t wanna turn around?” You ask, “Never seen a head massage where two people were facing each other.”

“Eh, your face is easy on the eyes,” He wrapped his arms around your shoulders.

You scoff, “Easy there, lover boy. Alright, just turn your head down.”

He did as he was asked, letting his head fall so you could actually start massaging his head. It was definitely weird from this angle, and the fact that you were massaging bone instead of tissue definitely didn’t help either.

After a few good moments of this, he let out a small grunt, “Okay, that’s enough. It’s not working.”

“Well, yeah, you have no muscle,” You chuckled as you tilted your head up, “Is the medicine helping yet?”

He shrugged, “Sorta,” His smile turned sinister, “But I have another good idea on what could make me feel better.”

God, you already knew he was going to milk this headache for all it’s worth, even if the medicine did actually help.

“Oh yeah? What’s that?”

“Maybe a true love's kiss,” His smile grew wider, “You humans say that can save someone from death, right?”

You scoff again, quickly turning it into a small laugh of disbelief, “You’re ridiculous, you know that? I honestly don’t get how anyone can find you intimidating.”

“Hey, i'm the toughest bag of bones around,” He leaned in closer, “That’s why you love me.”

“I love you cause you’re the least tough monster I’ve ever met,” You pushed him to you by the back of his hood, “You wouldn’t even hurt a fly.”

“Ohhh, you don’t even wanna know how many flies I’ve killed,” He said, “Probably, like, I don’t know, two at least. Little fuckers had it coming.”

You laugh, the skeleton returning the smile. You gently pull him forward, and meet him for a kiss.

The skeleton happily accepted it, holding your face in his hands as he deepened it.

It was a bit overwhelming at first for him, especially cuz he strikes me as the guy to have zero experience, but once he started crushing on you back he loved it

You had been dating Sans for five months now and there had been zero mentions of kissing.

With a guy like him, every step of the relationship was casual, just like the nature of the relationship itself. Your first date had been at the casual bar Grillby’s, the first time he said “I love you” had been after you made him a bowl of Mac and Cheese, and yet the first kiss still hadn’t happened.

You assumed it would be a quick peck at some random time, like when you were just about to leave for the store or about to go to Grillby’s.

That was until today.

You two had taken a nap together on the couch, and when you both woke up, you realized your faces were very, very close to each other. You were about to make some sarcastic joke about it, but you were quickly moved off by him before you could. Sans’ eye lights were dim as he awkwardly laughed, forcing himself up and off the couch to exit to a different room.

Hmm, strange. It wasn’t like Sans to get quiet over something so easy-to-make-a-joke-about.

A few hours later, you two were making lunch together - or rather, you were heating up the oven to bake some pre-packaged meat pies while Sans was slouching over the kitchen table. The two of you were making idle conversation, and you decided to bring up what happened before.

“Hey, sorry if waking up so close to each other made you uncomfortable,” You casually said, “Next time we nap, I’ll try to be a bit further away so that doesn’t happen.”

Sans huffed out a laugh, “Nah, you’re good. Just caught me off guard. Rest assured, I’m completely fine.”

“Booo, lame,” You replied, putting the pies into the now heated oven, “D tier pun.”

“Not fair, I’m starved for material. Empty stomach, empty mind.”

“Man, didn’t know you were so hungry 24/7,” You jabbed, Sans chuckling.

“Ouch, how hurtful… but yeah, I just need more warning if you’re gonna be right next to my face like that,” Sans continued.

“Oh, you just don’t like me near your face?” You asked, now turning to face the Sans as you leaned against the counter, arms crossed.

“No, not like that, more like- just-” Sans huffed, it was rare to see him at such a loss for words, “It’s real intimate, y’know?”

“Gotcha. Next step you’re not really ready to take? Is that why we haven’t kissed yet?” You asked nonchalantly.

While the question seemed like no big deal to you, it was the opposite for Sans. His body tensed, his eye lights went black, and his smile was strained.

“Woah, sorry, didn’t mean to-”

“I…” Sans swallowed despite not having a throat, “Kissing is uh, heh, I didn’t know that was something you wanted to do yet.”

“Well, I mean, if you’re not okay with it,” You calmly replied.

It was strange to see Sans so on edge, he was usually so smooth and collected, always had every situation under control. Right now, he seemed to be a nervous mess in comparison to that unflinching laidback personality.

“I never said I… wasn’t okay with it,” He choked out, “But I just know kissing is a big deal for a lot of people.”

“Doesn’t have to be a big deal,” You shrug off, “If you wanna do it, I’m down to do it. Don’t feel pressured, though, we’re not in any rush.”

Sans immediately jerked out a laugh, now completely leaning into the table at his back. You decided to leave it there, turning your attention to the pies that only had a few minutes left to go.

“I’m gunna go get the TV ready, you stay here and take out the pies when they’re done.”

You left the kitchen and turned on the TV, switching the channels until you reached Mettaton’s. He was in the middle of some sort of broadcast with someone, and you muted it as you waited for Sans.

When the pies were ready, he brought them out for the two of you. He quietly sat down next to you without a word, and he still had a tense feeling to him. You were starting to think you might’ve crossed a line with him.

“I’m sorry about mentioning the whole kissing thing. If you’re not into it, that’s fine,” You begin, “If you want, we can just leave it there, no more talking about it. Kissing isn’t for everyone, I get that not everyone would want to.”

“I want to,” Sans stated.

You went quiet, your gaze now completely on him.

He slightly turned to you, and he quickly put his plate down, “I mean, if you're fine with it. I'm fine with it, you’re fine with it, so, uh,”

You chuckle, moving closer to him, “Man, so weird seeing you nervous. You’re like, never nervous.”

He went quiet, his arms slightly raising as you pulled your hand up his back. When you reached his left shoulder, he brought his hand up to cup your cheek. He didn’t seem to be so antsy anymore, as the gentle touch brought his lazy smile back.

“Well, I’m gunna tibia honest, I was scared you weren’t gunna be too fond of kissing a skeleton,” He admitted, the two of you getting even closer, “Don’t exactly have any lips.”

“Yeah, well, you’re lucky that I practiced kissing with a celebrity poster on my wall as a teenager,” You quietly joked, “No lips on him either.”

That got a laugh out of him, “Man, how am I supposed to live up to a human celebrity? You just put a skele-ton of pressure on me, pal.”

You were practically whispering at this point with how close you two were, “You overuse that joke.”

“It’s a good joke,” Sans grinned, “So are we gunna kiss or just keep getting closer for the next hour?”

You grinned, cupping his cheek before you finally went in for it, your lips meeting his teeth.

Okay, wow, this definitely wasn’t what you were expecting. It was exactly like kissing a smooth, warm wall. But hell, it was incredibly enjoyable anyway, because that wall was the funniest, most charismatic, warm-hearted wall around.

You smiled into the kiss as you pictured a wall with all those attributes, and you leaned more into the kiss so Sans could get a good idea of just how much you love him.

Well, here you are.

It was your first date with Error, the skeleton you had met two years ago by pure accident. He definitely wasn’t the easiest skeleton to befriend, let alone to try and romance, as his ego and pride got in the way of many opportunities for heart-to-hearts. It took many months of beating around the bush before Error laid out his feelings for you, and by that point, you had been patiently waiting for his confession since the second year had started.

The date was to take place in the anti-void - and while it wasn’t the most romantic spot, even just going on a ‘date’ was already leaps and bounds out of Error’s comfort zone, so you were alright with letting him take all the reigns during it.

You were currently standing near the portal that was made for you that entered the anti-void, and you were surprised to not see him waiting for you as soon as you stepped inside.

“Error?” You called out, looking around.

The portal closed behind you, revealing Error standing behind it. His head was low, his hands stuffed into his pockets.

“Oh! There you are,” You said, “Sooo, where are we heading?”

“I have everything set up over by the TV,” He mumbled.

He walked you two towards an area set up for the event of your date: watching Undernovela. Again, not exactly the peak of romance, but the show is what made you two get close in the first place. Plus, the season finale was airing tonight, there’s no way you two could miss it.

You noticed Error was being more silent than usual, his gaze focusing everywhere but you. You awkwardly coughed, trying to fill the silence.

“Is, uh… everything alright?” You bravely ask, “Listen, if you’re uncomfortable with this, we can always call it off-”

“No, no,” Error grumbled, “We are doing this. We are going to watch TV, like we always do, we are going to do what we always do… just… as a date. We are going to have fun.”

You noticed how his hands have balled up into fists, and how his slight frown had now contorted into a full on grimace. If you were bold enough to assume so, you would almost think Error was nervous.

You knew by now that you couldn’t just come right out and acknowledge that. With Error, you had to stealthily snake your way around his issues so you were indirectly helping him with it. If you faced it head on, you would not only be met with Error denying he felt anything at all, but also be kicked out of the anti-void and deal with a bout of ghosting on his end.

“… You know, I’m pretty nervous,” You said, “I’m glad we chose to do something comfortable. Something stress-free, y’know? Just watching TV, relaxing on the couch, no one around.”

“Why would you be nervous,” He scoffed, his grin picking up slightly, “Be thankful you’re so lucky to go on a date with me.”

You shake your head slightly with a smirk, happy to see him at least a tiny bit more relaxed.

You two had reached the television set at that point, and you settled into your usual spot; the very left end of the couch he had set up for you two. While you always sat there as your designated spot, Error would change it up lots between the various beanbags scattered about, but he usually sat on the very right end of the same couch. Today, he seemed like he was going to take that same spot, but he faltered for a moment. You glanced at him, but turned your full attention to him when he sat mere inches away from you instead.

He was sitting on the edge of the cushion with perfect straight posture, his hands gripping his shorts on his lap, and his head held forward, not daring to meet your gaze. You had to stifle a chuckle over how ridiculously stiff he looked.

“Error, just because this is a date doesn’t mean you have to sit super close to me, do what makes you comforta-”

“NO IT'S OKAY I WANT TO DO THIS!” He angrily barked out, turning to point an accusatory finger at you, “LET ME DO WHAT I WANT!”

You raised your hands up in an effort to placate him, your own grin betraying you and making him even more defensive. He snatched the remote from the small coffee table he got for the pair of you to have for “TV time” (which Error was insistent you didn’t name it), and flicked the TV to the new episode of Telenovela.

Five minutes in, he finally seemed to relax as he sat back, letting his body sink into the cushions. The two of you began your usual commentary over the new episode, such as how the character was so dumb for doing this, the plot is obviously going a certain direction because of that, and Error began his usual habit of listing off all his theories. They usually weren’t true.

The episode was halfway done at this point, and you could definitely say that the date was going well. Error seemed comfortable. He was enjoying himself.

♡ - For the first while of the relationship, you spent 90% of your time together in the anti-void. It’s where he feels safe, after all! It would take a lot of time, but eventually he would be fine going other places to spend time together

♡ - His favourite place to take you is Outertale, he loves showing you the stars

♡ - He gets cranky whenever you give attention to any other Sanses, but he ESPECIALLY hates if you talk to any Swaps or Genos

♡ - He’s canonically a man-child, so if there’s any conflicts in the relationships, he would never state his feelings directly, so you have to find your own way to realize why he’s so upset. Hey, you were the one who signed up for this

♡ - He would honestly enjoy any food prep with you! Baking, cooking, whatever it is, he’s down for it. As long as you don’t interrupt his process whatsoever and let him have control over the whole thing. It turns out good every time, so you’re not complaining

♡ - The first sign he liked you was when he would constantly get angry at you for “irritating him” and “wasting his time” when you came to the anti-void, but you would soon always find an extra Bean bag chair or a suspiciously empty string hammock that is exactly your size. Again, you don’t mention it or else all progress is lost

♡ - After learning he needs glasses, you would stop at nothing to make him wear them again. It doesn’t work, but you try anyways.

♡ - Morning routine consists of waking up in your hammock in the anti-void, having a cup of black coffee laid next to you (doesn’t matter if you only like coffee with cream and sugar, cuz to him that’s ‘ruining the coffees natural flavour’), and having small talk with him as you both plan out what’s going on that day

♡ - He wouldn’t want you on the battlefield in any fights he gets into, but he won’t really stop you. It’s your decision after all, if you get hurt it’s your fault, he told you how dangerous it is. That won’t mean he won’t begrudgingly take care of you afterwards

♡ - He starts becoming a tiny bit less grumpy once you introduce him to hobbies outside of destroying AUs and watching that one show he’s obsessed with, and he actually enjoys the creative ones like knitting and sculpture more than he’d like to admit

♡ - Speaking of the show, you always find it adorable how invested he gets into it whenever you two watch it together, and how he rambles about his theories and analysis of the shows plot afterwards

♡ - You eventually bring speakers, your laptop, chairs, and whatever stuff for your hobbies you have into the anti-void, and he eventually designates that spot as “your spot in the void”

♡ - He wouldnt be too fond of direct displays of affection like compliments or physical contact, but he would try his best to make you feel loved in indirect ways. This would take the form of making breakfast for you without prompting or having a clothing item he made for you be thrown at your face. Make sure not to directly address it or he will throw a fit about it for the next few hours

♡ - When he’s calm and relaxed, you two will watch movies together and share a good meal. He’s very much a casual relationship kinda guy, he doesn’t want to do public dates or anything
