Ive been meaning to start painting again but making jewelry is a story that just keeps on wanting to be told...i am rather surprised that i keep continuing this story as i am a person that is very easily bored.. I thought it would eventually stop and i could get back to my brushes but it keeps on fascinating me to work in a 3-d flow.. . . The thing is i don't think of them as just pretty items to decorate yourself with. I see what i do as making talismanic jewelry. They all transmit a certain energy.. When a certain item is done and i dont feel them transmitting thát particular energy i looked for i deconstruct them. I dont want to sound too dramatic and esoteric but the energy i look for in the transmission is an energy that can heal. . . For instance this piece has thorns of a hawthorn worked into it... as well as clear crystals and two black rose hips. Seperatly every piece of plant material has a healing transmission that is associated with that particular plant..and put together in one piece of jewelry the energy and healing potential gets amplified because an alchemical, magical thing happens when they start working together. Ancestral inspired seed bead necklaces. Making these while contemplating a story i read here on instagram. Where @sage_and_seer points out how the aboriginals in Australia lived on the land 60.000 years while practicing their religion in which dreamtime is a major pilar..which sadly i have no real understanding of. She futher points out that this 60.000 years old religion is looking at EVERYTHING around them as having a soul, a spirit. We totally lost this sense and replaced it with a total surrender to a belief in science and a proof based way of looking at everything around us. We are so convinced that this is a better way of living..we laugh at the few people that are still following(or trying) the beliefs of their ancestors.. we laugh and feel we are 'better' while we are blond to seeing how we have run the state of this earth to the verge of a collaps within one generation. The piece she(@sage_and_seer ) wrote that hit home in particular was where she wrote "god has no mouth.. he sees everything but says nothing. God is resting in the sacred lands and leaving everything to human hands. So we have a responsibility to care for the lands" . . . Sead beaded 1 Opal & 1 Amethist pendulum today in between nursing myself and my daughter to health. Now two children in bed {finally}. 1 with flu and the other 1 hit his head hard tonight..just above his eye. He was playing with a playmate when he bumped against a kitchen counter..really really hard. He got me rattled up with worry..still has me rattled.. Me {flu-ih}aswell.. will be up a few times this night to ask him if he knows what his name is to hopefully rule out more serious injuries to his head. #wishusluck #hopehewillbeokay

The card i pulled this morning. Im going back to my practice of pulling a card of the day and i plan pulling the card right after i wrote some "morning pages". Then during the day i will 'look' for the energy/message of the card. This way i hope to reconnect with the cards deeper..i had let them slip a bit the past year or so.. and the reason i feel the desire to reconnect is because i wish to open up time and head & heart space inside me to read for clients again. An infiltrated version of me today. I'm feeling pretty overwhelmed inside myself and im so glad i am able to do a day of reflection inside my little homecave. . . This morning i tried a new thing..after listening to a podcast and heard @sarahmchappell mention something that sparked something in me. And i started a ritual which i hope to integrate as much as i can because i felt the immediate healing potential of just 5 minutes of doing this. Its a thing thats called "morning pages" and im doing it the way julia cameron does it. Its writing out the cloudy thoughts in your head..its allowing yourself to whine and complain on paper... Its not about forcing yourself to "love and light-wash" everything that you truly feel in this moment. Its more like taking your shadow for a cup of coffee as julia cameron describes it so perfectly. And as soon as i did it for just 5 minutesi felt something clearing up .probably because i took the time to sort through some dusty anxiety inducing corners in my head..i really really am going to try to make this a habit as much as i can. Maybe not every day but as much days as i can.. i am so excited to find out how it will make me feel to take my whining self on a regular coffee date 😉 . . . I just received my "Ask Baba Yaga" copy (by #taisiakitaiskaia). And i cant stop smiling while reading baba's answers page after page because it feels like im talking to my 86 year old (still living)great aunt who lives in a small very primitive house in Slovakia.
