That's so nice of you, thanks!!

I think the advice I would give is that writing the first draft without looking back is absolutely crucial.

In the beginning I used to go over everything I had so far over and over again and I kept finding phrases or words I didn't like so instead of actually writing I just edited the same three chapters I had. You're still going to edit in the end, so it's better to just keep writing and leave the editing for later.

In the end I went through two rounds of editing, and two rounds of proof-reading and formatting. And everytime new mistakes will pop up.

He turned and, upon seeing her, quickly hid the cigarette behind his back. Slowly, she stood up. "What are you doing?" she called out, knowing full well what he was doing. "Nothing," he called back. "Then why does it look like you’re smoking a cigarette?" He was silent for a moment. "Optical illusion." When Bingo was done, she signaled the puppy to follow her as she approached Charlie, who was hastily taking more drags from his cigarette like his life depended on it.
