This is still one of the best books that I think I’ve ever read. It was such a roller coaster of emotions and just when you think it can’t get any more dramatic, it does. I loved how Neil and Andrew weren’t subtle in the least and yet people were still shocked by them being together. It just made me giggle. I also loved how the Foxes rallied around Neil after everything that he had been through. It was so sweet to see them bonding and really cementing the rag-tag found family thing that they had going on. Honestly, this is just such a good book and it’s getting a solid five stars.

Yes!! This is my first reread of them since I first read them in 2020. And it was so good!
Oooh! Yes! I’ve got a few of their books tucked away on my kindle and I’m really looking forward to them. 😊

I wouldn’t necessarily call these all birthday presents to myself, but it’s also true that my most concentrated book-buying takes place in the post-Christmas, pre-birthday months 😄

🧚‍♀️ Backyard Fairies by Phoebe Wahl
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5
A very cute children’s book about a kid who searches for fairies. This book reminded me a lot of my childhood making fairy houses out of dandelions and sticks. The ending was sweet and made me feel so happy to read. I’d definitely recommend reading this book if you feel down.

It’s indie bookstore day!! This is one of my absolute favorite indies to go to whenever I’m on vacation ❤️
I’m on vacation at the coast for a few days and I got to go to one of my favorite independent bookstores!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I’ve loved this book store since I was a kid. It’s aisles are stacked to the gills with new and used books. It’s honestly one of the coolest bookstores I’ve ever been to.
And my little book haul!
On this trip I picked up:
Winters Orbit
Rosalind Palmer Takes the Cake
Glass Syndrome
