Last night someone tried to scam me and this is the second time something like this happens. Unfortunately phishing is a common practice in the freelance industry, and I know one too many cases of friends and colleagues who have lost their hard earned money because of this.

That said, I won't be accepting commissions from new accounts and I will refuse your request if I consider you're acting suspicious. I take my reputation as an artist very seriously, therefore I approach my work with clients with the utmost respect, commitment and transparency possible -and I expect the same in return. I will not tolerate any nonsense.

And to the person who tried to scam me, I know you're reading this and if you ever try to contact me again, I will release your IP address, username and screenshots or our conversation for all to see, including any other personal information I can find. Your email address, and tumblr account have already been reported for phishing and illegal activity.

For everyone else I'm sorry you had to read this, as this is not the energy I want to bring into my table. All of you have been lovely and incredibly supportive and I'm so grateful for this community. Take care and beware of shady individuals such as the one I had the misfortune to encounter last night.

I think your "personal style" it's just a bunch of techniques and little quirks you collect over the years as you grow and evolve as an artist, so I'd say your style finds you, like a cat.

If you're an artist yourself, I wouldn't worry too much about it, it will come to you eventually if you do your homework ☝🏻🤓.
