contradictory label culture is. "ooo you were born a woman" no, i had a cultural sense of gender attached to me, and had a version of feminity i have no connection to forced on me. i am transmasc(transitioning to masculinity). i am transfem(transitioning to a version of feminity i feel comfortable in). i am femmasc. every aspect of my gender is inherently trans. it's simple.

All this discourse on tiktok about trans men lesbians is so baffling to me. Imagine what they would say if they knew cis men lesbians exist too

This might even be a conversation some people here aren't ready for. But either way I'm gonna talk about it. If a cis man experiences queer attraction to women and genuinely identifies with the lesbian label, then that's gender non conforming in itself. They are valid as lesbians. And no I'm not talking about the cis men that intentionally use the label to mock us, if that wasn't obvious.

Some might say that a cis man experiencing queer attraction to women makes them not cis anymore since it is gender non conforming. I don't agree it's that simple though. The words cisgender and transgender both mean a lot in this community. Some are just more comfortable with the cisgender label and that's totally fine. Others might not identify with either, while some identify with both. Theres so many possibilities. People can identify however complex they'd like to as long as they're happy

Even with this explanation it doesn't fully capsulate all the different possibilities of cis men lesbians experiences. As long as they're happy who gives a shit?? This all applies to cis women gays as well, I just mainly mentioned cis men since that's what tiktok is blowing their heads off about right now.

Anyways, go support your lesbian men and gay women friends before pride month ends and we all disappear (Jk. Support them FOREVER!)

Desirdae "A term simular in meaning to dissomei. It supports non-harmful transitioning and is inclusive to everyone with atypical dysphoria , trauma , self doubt , etc-"

an example of a desirdae term would be...

"Desirautism" which is a term for those that desire/yearn/want autism in some way. some examples of why would be: an autistic being feeling as if they are not "autistic enough" , Those who are trying to "reconnect" to their autism due to being forced to mask , Those with atypical dysphoria etc.

note: to clear this term up it does not support harmful transitioning. It does support nonharmful transitioning such as someone with short hair trying to “transition” to long hair, or somone with autism trying to “transition” to autism due to them trying to start unmasking and showing their autistic traits more.

Butch trans women exist. Butch trans women matter. Butch trans women don't owe you femininity. Womanhood is not defined by femininity.

It's incredibly transmisogynistic to demand a performance of femininity from trans women to see their womanhood as real, especially if you don't expect that of cis women, but it shouldn't be expected of cis women either. Knowing that is just basic feminist and anti-misogynistic understanding. Being celebratory of femininity doesn't automatically make you incapable of being a transmisogynist. You need to be supportive of all trans women, of any presentation, living as their authentic selves.
