October First: How they react to you saying ‘I Love You’.
Aether, Diluc, Eula
Gender Neutral (They/Them, You/Yours)
No Warnings
Genre: Fluff, Headcannons
Diluc’s got long, I’m sorry I love him..
Aether
Cries.
I’m not joking, he cries.
Instantly says it back- like wow- Aether Breathe Please.
Paimon is third wheel now
Hes so sweet?? So happy?? We love him. We really do.
He loves you <3 a lot,, don’t doubt that!
“Ah, did I hear you correct?..I love you too, I promise (Name).”
Diluc
Shocked, really!
He smiled, and hugged you, before replying with a whisper, so only you could hear.
Okay. You’re blushing now-
A little clingier after this, can’t convince me otherwise.
He’s already a gentleman, as we know. That amplifies by like...30 times.
Makes sure to remind you everyday that he does love you.
If he has to go and won’t be back for awhile, leaves you a note and tells you to read it daily.
All in all, complete sweetheart.
“Hm? You...Love me? Well, (Name) I love you too.”
Don’t tell anyone, but he definitely hugged you because firstly, he loves you. Secondly, so you couldn’t see he was blushing.
Eula
Surprised, might...might cry. Shes the best of both worlds.
Sort of..doesn’t reply. For a moment, shes just staring. Silence. Shes blushing and staring.
Finally starts talking- and it’s something like..
“Making me feel like this...Vengeance will be mine!-But, I do feel the same, (Name.)”
She isn’t gonna do anything, it was all talk. Shes a sweetie <3

Hello! Could I request an x reader with Venti and Xingqiu. If you don’t write for them, Childe and Diluc. with a reader that likes their voice? Just finds it nice to listen, pure wholesomeness!
"YOU HAVE A NICE VOICE." : xingqiu / childe x gn!reader head canons (separate)
Tumblr media
in which you complement the boys voice and they get all flustered like ehe
Tumblr media
hey ! i actually do write for all the characters you requested for but only did xingqiu and childe for this one if you don' t mind :) (they voice some of my favorite characters haha)
i had a lot of fun writing this, so thank you~
and i apologize for taking so long to write this, uuu i wasn' t able to access my computer for a few days :(
fun fact : xingqiu/bennett' s and childe' s va (english dub) are dating <3
XINGQIU :
he was reading his favorite story to both of you before going to bed, and his voice is just so relaxing
the way he' d always put feeling into reading every line just made you feel so happy and comforted
" you have a nice voice. "
xingqiu obviously got distracted and that' s the first time you get to see him so flustered, usually he' s the one teasing you
he doesn' t really know how to respond so he just covers his face with his book
" really ? "
" of course ! "
he' s just a tad bit insecure about himself so hearing you say that just reveals a whole new side of him
he feels so happy after hearing that and he continues to read his book out load until you fall asleep listening to his voice.
Tumblr media
CHILDE :
as a fatui harbinger, he' s always out and he can never see his family.
however you' re always there to accompany him and he invites you to go stargazing with him while telling you stories of teucer and his other siblings.
you can' t help but just close your eyes and listen to him, doesn' t matter if you' re too tired to understand what he' s saying
while he' s in the middle of telling the story of when teucer fell into a pile of snow, you just complement him out of the blue
" you have a nice voice. "
" i know. " * continues to ramble on about snow *
I' M JOKING (i mean he feels like the person who would say that imo)
he would blush a little but he would still tease you about it
he' d also complement you back and give you a giant smooch on your head
" i think you have the best voice between us, haha. "
little ginger bitch
again, i' m so sorry for responding late :(
thank you for requesting ~

Diluc, The Ultimate Winery Owner
Your body is found
Diluc had remained level headed throughout this ordeal, especially since you were there. He believed he had to protect you, and would do anything for you to both escape. It was just another day, during free time when the body announcement played. He sighed, knowing how upset you’d be, you were usually one of the unlucky few that ran into the body first. Unlike usual, you hadn’t ran off to find him. “Maybe they haven’t found it yet..” He muttered, his mind not dare travelling to the darkest assumption. As he walked, he became more concerned. Hopefully, you were just asleep in your dorm and had missed the announcement. As Diluc approached the area, he noticed the guilty glances of others. He was confused, and upon entering the room, he froze. He didn’t want to believe it. There you were, chest slashed open. It was a gruesome sight, he felt sick. He rushed to your side, not wanting to believe this was real. But when he grabbed your arm, and it was cold. He blamed himself, he was meant to protect you. He didn’t want to lose you too. But he did, and he snapped. Nobody saw him until the trial. And when your killer was found out? Well, he almost killed them himself. It wouldn’t be surprising if he turned into a blackened.
You are the Blackened.
“And that would make the killer, (Full Name).” One of the others had announced. Your boyfriend stared at you, in denial. You let out a laugh. “Oh, well done. You got it right.” You seemed nonchalant about it, and shrugged. The voting was quickly dealt, despite Diluc’s protests. When Monokuma announced that yes, it was you, Diluc still couldn’t believe it. He walked over to you. “Why?” He questioned, but his voice was breaking. “Well, I wasn’t planning on getting caught. I wanted us out of here, no matter the cost.” You said with a sigh. You seemed frustrated your plan hadn’t gone through. He stared at you, with shock. He didn’t believe it, he never would. But he knew what came next, you’d both seen it before. He didn’t give the others a chance to get near you, and embraced you. You gave smiled one final time at the Ultimate Winery Owner, before the chain locked around your neck, ripping you out his arms.
Your Execution.
Everyone was silent, as it started, but Diluc stared blankly, and if it wasn’t clear, he was in silent tears. He didn’t want to watch this, but it was like he was in a trance. You were tied down to a chair, something that looked like it was from an older time. There were mumbles about how this would go, most of the survivors being confused. That was until wine bottles were smashed against the ground near you, and he knew what was coming next. He wanted to rush in, and try stopping it, but it was like you could sense his thoughts, and practically froze him with a glare. The next part, broke the man, fully. A match was thrown into the spilled alcohol, and it engulfed the area in flames. Your screams and pleas destroyed whatever happiness he had left. And when the execution was over, he made a mental promise to be joining you soon.
Venti, The Ultimate Bard
Your body is found
The bard was always desperate for his freedom to be back, but he wouldn’t kill, no. Especially not if there was a chance you could be hurt. He’d developed an attachment to you throughout this, and you’d spend many nights in one another’s dorms. You’d listen as he strums his Lyre, one of the few things keeping you both sane through this hellhole. That all came crumbling down, as he was the first to find your body, and screamed. Others rushed in, and Venti was hyperventilating. He wouldn’t believe this, he couldn’t. He refused to leave your body’s side. As much as the way you were murdered made him disgusted to see, he just wanted his moments to say goodbye. “I’m so sorry, (Name)...I failed to protect someone again.” He sobbed out once the others had left to search for clues elsewhere. When the killer was announced, Venti sure did have a few choice words with them. He was screaming, and wouldn’t calm down. His composure was lost, and he wasn’t the same after losing you too.
You’re the blackened.
Venti couldn’t believe his eyes as your name was voted by everyone. And when it was comfirmed? The bard ran to you and clung to your body. He begged you for an answer, and when you said it was for his freedom? He sobbed. He said things he didn’t mean, and you knew he didn’t, not taking them to heart. His gaze was hidden from the monochrome bear, and you nodded at it. Signalling the end of your time. You knew there was no where to run, and you feared that the male you’d loved would be hurt if you made a break for it. You kissed Venti on the forehead, muttering your gentle apology and that you loved him. He mumbled an ‘I love you too’ and you knew he forgave you. But just as the words had left his mouth, you were ripped from him, now facing your death.
Your Execution.
Venti couldn’t watch, he knew you didn’t want him to. “I’m so sorry, (Name)..” He said under his breath, while crying. You couldn’t guess what would come next, when an instrument was shoved in your hands. If you messed up a note, the asphyxiation from the chain would only be slowed, not stopped. You just wanted this over with, and played to the best of your abilites. Venti covered his ears, he couldn’t listen or watch. When it was over, he dropped to his knees still sobbing, and it took one of the others dragging him to get him to move. He was rarely seen again, unless needed. There never was a spark in his eye, like before. Any melody the others heard when passing by was dark, it made them sad just hearing it.
Albedo, The Ultimate Alchemist
Your body is found
The two of you had developed a relationship, both having being considered ‘outcasts’ from the others. He would teach you of alchemy, and you would teach him (ultimate talent). You shared a gentle bond, even if at times it didn’t seem like you were all that close around the others, both minding your own business. It was a late night and you were in his ultimate lab, he calmly asked you to try this one thing he’d been working on, and you agreed, knowing he would never hurt you on purpose. You took the glass from him, and drank it. You soon felt your eyes grow heavy, and it was as if your pulse was slowing. Albedo gently called your name, concern written in his eyes. You couldn’t reply, seconds later, limply dropping against him. He felt panic rise, checking for any sign of life, and didn’t find it. In the trial, he was mostly silent. And upon his guilty judge? He accepted it, he was furious at himself, the one person that trusted him, died by his hands? Who wouldn’t that anger?
You are the blackened.
You laughed as your name was announced and Albedo stared. He didn’t want to believe it, but he did accept it. There was nothing he could change, nor do about this. He wished you’d just spoken to him, and told him to do it. He would have, especially since you did it so he would be free from all this. Your boyfriend approached you, and hugged you. The others muttered things of ‘Well that wasn’t a surprise’ and the like. You gave him a soft kiss, before accepting your fate. “Now! We’ve got a special punishment for (Full Name) The (Ultimate Talent)!” With that, you were chained and tied to a pole. “This is an especially special punishment, made by one your own!” The monochrome bear called out. There were confused yells, people panicking at one another. Who would it be?
Your Execution.
The lights flickered off, then on again. But it was a spotlight. The light fell on Albedo. “What..?” He questioned, staring at the others. Just as his question fell from his lips, an agonizing scream could be heard on your end. Chemicals upon chemicals were being launched at you. The others yelled at him, wondering how he could do something like this to somebody he’d called a lover. Albedo didn’t know, and called out again. “But..I never wanted this?! Especially not for them..” He recieved a laugh in return. “Now now, dear alchemist. If you hadn’t prepared all of these, your supposed sweetheart would’ve just had a quick little death! This is all *your* fault~” Monokuma said with a sing-song tone. He was lying, this would’ve had the same outcome no matter what Albedo did. But, the alchemist believed him. And cried. It was silent, and he didn’t realise it, but he was crying. He fully blamed himself, there was after all no evidence otherwise. It didn’t take long before he was considered dangerous, and avoided
Chongyun, The Ultimate Exorcist
Your body is found
An argument had been a bit too heated for him, and his condition acted up. You’d went with him, to the small area of his lab that was colder than the rest. He would normally come with you there, to calm down. Usually, you were dressed more appropriately for the temperature. You didn’t worry this time, more concerned over your boyfriend. You stayed cuddled close to him, but the temperature soon became too much. You didn’t want to upset him further, and stayed silent. He didn’t notice. You slowly felt your eyes shut, and rested more against him. He felt the weight, and went to tap your hand to let you know that he was fine now. But then he felt the skin that was far too cold. He screamed, and others rushed in. He didn’t forgive himself. He should have known, noticed, anything...Many nights were spent crying himself to sleep.
You’re the blackened
Disbelief, and thats all. He didn’t forgive you, but he did at the same time. He hated and loved you. It hurt, badly. And upon hearing your reasoning? He became more conflicted. He was lucky he brought popsicles, because otherwise it wouldn’t be good for him. He saw your stressed expression and sighed, before walking over and hugging you. You would be dead soon, anyway. This is the least he could do. The moment came all too fast, and then you were gone.
Your Execution
You had to try fending off spirits, but they weren’t real. You grew tired, fast as they weren’t normal opponents, plus the cold chill wasn’t anything better. Chongyun realised far too late he wasn’t mad, and he still loved you fully. He almost called it out to you, but you slipped up and were killed. It was bloody, and he felt sick. He hated this feeling. He just wanted you back, and in his arms. At the very least, you were out of this game, and resting somewhere. Maybe...maybe he would join you early. This was caused by him, after all.
Kazuha, The Ultimate Poet
Your Body is Found
You and the poet were close from the beginning. It hadn’t been long for a relationship to bloom from that. He would also tell you stories of his time at sea, while you both stayed together in the late evenings. You had said to him you just wanted to go grab a book, and he believed you’d be fine. That proved to be a fatal mistake, as when you entered the library, you were killed by a set trap. Kazuha waited, for an hour, before growing worried and rushing to your last known location. Being the library. He saw your body, and the panic rised. He quickly got everybody together, and was one of the main people during the investigation. At the trial, he was the first suspect, being the last person to be seen with you, and for not showing much emotion, but with his evidence, he was proven guilt free and the killer was found. They certainly didn’t expect the insults that flew from his mouth. He was anything but calm now. He’d lost two people by not being there in time, of course he was pissed off.
You are the blackened
Silence. That’s all you were met with. You couldn’t blame him, and you didn’t want to guilt him so you made an excuse as to why you killed. You had done it so the two of you could be free and sail off. You claimed it was because you were bored, and wanted something interesting to happen. He didn’t approach you. He just stared. It was disheartening. He still loved you, he just...he needed time. Time neither of you had. Not when you yelled out an apology as you were dragged to your final moments and any chance he had to let you know he forgives you, was gone.
Your Execution
You were sat in a chair, a book was slammed in front of you. Metallic hands wrapped around your neck and you guess what to do. Maybe...maybe you could survive this? You read, slowly, the poetry in hand. It was a painstaking process, but when you got to the end of the book, and lowered it, you thought it was over. Maybe this was a lucky chance? That was until you were finally choked fully. Kazuha knew he had time to yell it, that he did forgive you. But that was all gone now. You’d never know that he did love you still, despite everything. He’d lost two people close to him, and was now shut down. And tired.
Tartaglia, The Ultimate Freestyle Martial Artist
Your Body Is Found
You’d both taken a habit of approaching one another with an invitation to spar. It had started with him doing it solely to train you to defend yourself, but then it became a game to the both of you. Childe had decided today he would find you, as you’d snuck up often on him. He entered your dorm, calling out your name. What he didn’t expect was it to be a mess, and have things broken. “(Name)? Are you here? Is this a prank....?” He had asked, while walking around, looking for you, but he never expected the site of your cold, dead body under a table. He approached, almost laughing. “Come on now, (Name), this isn’t funny.” He reached his hand out, to grab your own, but being met with the cold feeling, he jumped back. He stared, and stared. He was in denial. He wouldn’t believe it. He didn’t. Not even at the trial. Not afterwards, not even at his own death, did he ever believe you were dead. He knew it was stupid, but somewhere inside he believed that this was some cruel joke, and you would both return home at some point.
You are the blackened
In case you had any doubt, Childe forgave you instantly as the news was announced. You thanked him, and he held you. He wasn’t upset or mad at you in the slightest. However, he was furious at Monokuma, knowing your execution would happen in mere moments. He held you, not wanting to let you go, ever. Tartaglia kissed your forehead, and muttered an ‘I love you.’ You smiled at him, before being dragged away.
Your Execution
A pole was thrown in your arms as these things started to attack, you tried defending yourself, but it was hard. You thought you’d have a way out, but the stage you were on became slippery and wet, and you struggled. Childe felt a fury burn inside bright than before, and ran to your aid, disarming one of the things and using that to defend you and himself. It seemed to be going well, but they were coming faster than either of you could handle. Tartaglia swore he would get you out of there, but that all fell down as you missed a hit and were killed with one blow. Everyone thought it was over, but they kept attacking, eventually overpowering him too. At the very least, you were able to die together.
Aether, The Ultimate Traveller
Your body was found
Aether didn’t believe his eyes, not when he saw the person he promised to be with forever, dead, stabbed so many times and blood marking most of your skin. It was horrifying, some of it wasn’t even a knife, it looked like an axe or something. At the trial, he snapped. He’d already been seperated from his sister, and now this? You were the one person he told everything to. And now you were dead? Aether was beyond pissed. He normally was sweet and pretty chill, but that was gone. All the frustration he had, was taken out on the killer. If it wasn’t for the fact he knew you’d be upset wherever you were, Aether probably would’ve killed them. He also had to find Lumine, and couldn’t do that while dead.
You are the blackened
He had one question. “Why?” He wasn’t mad, or upset, he just wanted to know. And when you quietly confessed it was so he could see his sister again? He cried. He held you close. He didn’t let you go. Not as the votes were cast, not as it was confirmed you were the blackened. He couldn’t be mad at you, after you’d given up your life so he could leave you guilt free? Maybe..there was a way he could save you. He didn’t have time to debate, as you were ripped straight from him. He made a promise if he could, he would try to save you.
Your Execution.
A fight. That was what you had to. Survive the swarms and swarms of enemies. Aether rushed in quickly, not giving anybody time to protest. You both fought, back to back. But it grew tiring, very tiring. Eventually, you were stabbed, and it pierced deep. You dropped down, sobbing out for him, and he froze up. This caused him to be also hit down. The blade was ripped from your back, and he reached his hand out, just to comfort you. He knew this was it, your and his death would be for nothing. Just as he was about to grab your hand, one of the bots stepped on it, shattering the bone. At the same time he grasped his own hand, you were brutally stabbed multiple times in front of him. He sobbed, before being killed off with blunt force to the head. He knew Lumine wouldn’t find out. They’d been seperated again, and she was in another world entirely.
Xiao, The Ultimate Adeptus
Your body is found
You and him weren’t close, per se. But still found comfort in the other’s presence. You and him had this sort of thing where you would watch out for each other. He, however, kept more of a constant gaze on you. Xiao never took his duty to protect you lightly. He slipped up once. You called his name just a second too late. He found the killer fast, luckily. They were luckily he didn’t kill them right there. He was...angry. At himself. Not at you. He made the mistake, he wasn’t watching you.
You’re the blackened.
Forgiven. Immediately. You apologised and all he did was...hold you? He apologised in return, and confessed the feelings harbouring in his heart. You blinked at him, shocked. But you reciprocated the feelings, and told him so. He felt regret he hadn’t said it sooner. Maybe then...but he didn’t have to reconsider his foolish decision as you were dragged down the hall.
Your Execution..?
Run. Thats all you could do. You ran and ran while the monokuma bots chased you. It also felt like you were running out of air. You wanted to survive...and knew what you had to. You called out Xiao’s name, just soft enough. And he had to. He appeared by you and fought to your defence. The two of you ran, and ran more. Amd fought too. It seemed like the exit was in sight. And it was, but it was closing fast and..only one of you would make it. Xiao knew what he had to do, and sped up, shoving you through the exit...and he followed. You were...free. It was surprising and you gasped for oxygen, clinging to him. It surprised both of you, neither of you thinking you’d make it.
Zhongli, The Ultimate Storyteller
Your body is found
Close. You were close from the day you came here. Many nights were spent in each other’s arms, him telling tales upon tales. You’d listen with interest. But that’s the fond memories he looked back upon. Now, he was alone. Without your constant questions, and curiosity. Without your hopeful reminder that you’ll both make it out. All that was left was this trial room, and your to be found killer.
You’re the blackened
Forgiveness, again. He pulled you into the safety of his arms as your confession to the others spilled out. You admitted it was selfish, and you just wanted him and yourself to be free. They weren’t happy, but understood. That’s all most of them wanted, anyway. Zhongli could feel your pulse begin to race, and slowly whispered one of your favourite stories. It calmed you slowly, and you were ready to accept what faced you.
Your Execution
The drag and then being locked to a pole? Painful, much? He wanted to avert his gaze. But you would expirience that, and it would be just rude of him to ignore you. He felt sick watching the Execution happen. Books flew at you from angles and at rapid paces. You sobbed out for help, but nobody could do anything. It was a cruel reality, but...maybe there was a chance? He thought, as your battered body dropped down from the pole...and you moved. It sounded like...like warmth. Safety...You heard him call for you...You tried moving to the sound, and just as you felt you could reach it, your skull was bashed in the final time. He only stared. He was...he couldn’t take it. The pain was overwhelming..He wished he could just take you into his arms and say everything is fine but...it wasn’t. And it never will be.
Xingqiu, The Ultimate Writer
Your body is found
A prank. That’s all it was meant to be, just a harmless little joke. Nothing to hurt you, let alone kill you. Just a simple water bucket prank. But he had no idea you already were heavily injured. And just as he noticed, it was too late. He dealt the blow. He was the blackened. He killed the love of his life, the one person who consistently tolerated his pranks and teases. Xingqiu accepted his fate, with no struggle.
You are the blackened
Denial. Another one in denial. He considered this just like one his books he read lately. You would tell him that everything was a prank, you weren’t the killer. But when everyone called the vote, and it was confirmed. He yelled at you. He was upset, at...everyone, himself included. Everyone..except you. He wanted to tell you, that he was sorry. That he did forgive you. But he couldn’t, as the chain locked around your neck.
Your Execution
Chained down to a chair, and a paper was slammed down in front of you, with a pen. You were confused, but got the hint. You wrote and wrote, which had you distracted from the area slowly flooding. You slowly started to suffocate in the water, but it didn’t bother you. You felt like it wasn’t even happening. Xingqiu started yelling, begging you to try and survive. You couldn’t hear him, only the sound of your own thoughts. And eventually, your body gave out.
Scaramouche, The Ultimate Debater
Your body is found
From the beginning, you had made an agreement. You would watch out for each other in trials, backing the other up, always an alibi. You considered him a friend, and told him so. You did consider him more, but kept that under wraps. But he never reciprocated..at least you thought he didn’t. Scaramouche did feel the same, but thought he’d have time to tell you. He believed you would be there the next day, the day he would tell you. Tomorrow. He didn’t want there to be a chance you didn’t feel the same, but had considered it, because it would be better than you never knowing. He knocked on your dorm, expecting you to answer at the call of your name, but you didn’t...And he grew annoyed, assuming you were sleeping in. He sighed under his breath, before opening the door, and being met with the sight he never wanted to see. Your bloodied body, clutching a letter to your bleeding chest. You were long gone. He swiftly walked over, trying to ignore the tears rising to his eyes and grabbed the letter, hoping to find some clue as to who your killer was. But as he read through it, his eyes widened. It was a confession. To him. In your writing, that he completely recognised. And he felt regret. He hadn’t even told you that he cared about you. As far as you were aware, you were just a toy to him. Maybe at first, yes, but not as of late. During the trial, he was anything but calm, snapping if anybody dared to speak ill of you. When the blackened was found, they were screamed and swore at. Insults hurled second by second. They likely were terrified of him. And when they were executed, he laughed. If it was possible, people feared him more. And tried to avoid him at all possible costs.
You’re the blackened
Keeps defending you, even when it was a lie. When the votes were cast, and you were still found out, he started yelling. For a moment, others assumed he was an accomplice, but you and Monokuma denied that fact. He was still in denial, hardly able to accept the fate that was in front of his eyes. He asks you why? Why couldn’t you just tell him to do it? It’s rare to see him on the verge of tears, but his pride is in shambles. You gave a laugh, with a sorry before fate dragged you to your doom.
Your Execution
It was some kind of...trap. You were just stuck there. The contraption slowly brought you to your doom, or what you assumed to be. With some careful consideration, you managed to slip from it, avoiding the fate planned. Nobody knew this, and assumed you died when it was stopped. Scaramouche was not the one to find you, it was somebody else. They quickly brought you to him, and he hugged you, tightly. He was shaking, and yelling at the same time. He was just glad you were alive, that’s all that mattered to him. You both managed to escale from there, possibly with others.
Well, hope that wasn’t too OOC. Sorry for the gruesome imagines <3 Another angst fic is coming soon! Prepare :)

Prepare :)

The two of you had developed a relationship, both having being considered ‘outcasts’ from the others. He would teach you of alchemy, and you would teach him (ultimate talent). You shared a gentle bond, even if at times it didn’t seem like you were all that close around the others, both minding your own business.
Prepare :)

Y'know what, fuck this bullshit. I need to know y'all are actually against it.
Reblog this if you will NOT use or support Post+.
I hope to make @staff see how that is total bullshit. Tumblr will die without writers/creators.

Title: Thank You Windblume
Pairing: Venti/Reader
Reader: Gender Neutral
A/N: This isn’t proofread I just wanted to write this because I could only think about this idea all day. I blame LunASMR for this because their latest post has been stuck in my head. This is angst to fluff. Mentions of a character dying and nightmares. I hope you enjoy and if anyone has Venti requests please send them my way.
Tumblr media
The smoke rose from the city like tall pillars. People were fleeing the city across the bridge. Venti worked against the force of the people and shoved his way towards the cathedral. His aqua green eyes scanned the crowd looking for your familiar form. However, he couldn’t see you. He began to call out for you. He was praying that his voice would carry over the crowd.
The abyss had attacked sparing no mercy to the people of Mondstadt. Or the people who were only visiting the city. Abyss mages and abyss heralds could be seen everywhere in the city. As Venti made his way towards the cathedral he attacked any abyssal creature that came in his way.
Upon arriving at the plaza Venti spotted you straight away. You were laying on your side, not moving. Venti rushed to your side crocheting down next to you and turn you over. You stared up at Venti, a weak smile reaching your lips. You raised your hand to cup Venti’s cheek. “I’m sorry.” you croaked. “Hey, no don’t talk like that windblume,” Venti whispered, holding your hand to his cheek as he cried. “I love you.” you smiled, as your arm fell from Venti’s grip.
Venti shot up from bed. His eyes frantically scanned the room looking for you but you weren’t there. Panic began to set in deep in his chest. He couldn’t move just let his emotions take over. Tears streamed down his face as curled up his hands covering his eyes and his knees pulled up to his chest. He cried quietly into the night.
You entered the bedroom with a glass of water in your hand. You didn’t notice that Venti was awake as the room was still shrouded in darkness. You placed it on the nightstand. “Windblume?” Venti asked, his voice shaking. You quickly moved over to Venti’s side, sitting on the edge of the bed. “I’m here,” you reassured, feeling Venti’s arms wrap around your waist. You wrapped your arms around in return running your fingers through his hair. “It’s okay.” you cooed.
You both stayed like this for a while until Venti had calmed down. He leaned out of your embrace. His hands cupping your cheeks. He left out a shaky breath as his eyes scanned your face as if he was memorising every detail on your face. “You want to talk about it?” you asked. Venti took a deep breath.
“I don’t know why but I am an archon, I am meant to be used to people entering and leaving my life. But every so often I get nightmares that remind me my time with you is finite and at some point, in the future, you won’t be here by my side.” Venti admitted, “And I don’t know what I will do when you’re gone.”
You didn’t know what to say the only thing you could think of doing is keeping him company to reassure him that you were here for him. You moved back to your side sitting next to Venti. “Venti,” you started pulling the archon into your embrace, “I plan on staying by your side for as long as I can. If I had a choice I would stay by your side for eternity.” Venti laughed lightly. “I’m being serious. I promise to stay by your side for eternity.” you hummed.
“We both know that isn’t possible but thank you windblume.” Venti smiled. “I’ll find a way.” you joked. Venti laughed softly. “Let’s go to sleep, I think I’ll sleep fine now,” Venti said. You laid down on the bed, Venti rested his head on your chest. Listening to your heartbeat.
“Thank you windblume.” Venti whispered.

i,, i had to,, i apologize baal simps, next baal fics + hc will be fluff i swear (n i'll try to get start on her banner soon, if not i'll come up with somethin else smoochsmooch)
baal x gn!reader warnings: major character death, description of injuries, blood, written before baal and inazuma release, ooc baal, grammar + spelling mistakes, lowercase writing, let me know if i forgot any description: baal promises you she'll love you eternally. even as your blood stains her clothes. word count: 463
archons, you were fine when you left her this morning. so what happened? why were you laying in her arms now? why was there so much blood?
she remembered you leaving this morning, having to go clear out some enemies early. not that it was early to either of you. baal being the electro archon, of course she rose early. it wasn't a problem for either of you.
when you left, all she said was a simple, "take care."
was that the last thing she'd say to you?
not even an "i love you?" you'd leave her without even letting her say a proper goodbye?
baal flinched as she felt a hand raise, brushing against her cheek. she looked down at you. at that stupid smile you wore. your eyes looked tired, she could tell you weren't gonna make it out. not like the gashes across your chest or the remnants of elemental power across your body said anything about it.
"hey.. baal..?" you whispered.
you sounded so tired.
"darling?"
baal reached to the hand placed on her cheek, grabbing it with her own and giving it a squeeze. you let out a small laugh.
"i love you, and i'm sorry."
what were you sorry for?
you didn't do anything.
"i wasn't able to cook for you more, or eat with you, or hug you... i'm sorry, baal."
a tear slipped down baal's cheek, then another. and another. until her face started to grow wet as she shed her tears. some were even dropping onto you.
"shut up. please."
all she needed was more time. mortal lives were already so limited. why do you have to slip between her fingers? why did your time with her have to cut so goddamn short already?
you kept your hand on her cheek. not like you had a choice, baal had a strong grip on it as she cried.
"b-baal?"
"i said shut up."
"please.. make it stop.. it hurts."
baal looked at you. what did you say?
"p-please.."
what?
she saw tears well up as you started to sob.
"is this what you want?"
baal grabbed her sword with her other hand, she didn't want to let you go yet.
"i- yes.."
grabbing your hand, baal laid it onto your chest. she could see her tears still dripping onto your body.
you gazed at her. mustering the last of your strength, you closed your eyes and smiled at her. that stupid, dumb smile. the one she'd remember you making if you told a bad joke.
"i love you, baal," you said it so quietly.
"i'll love you forever, darling. y/n, no matter how long i go on, i'll remember you. our love will be.. eternal."
she raised the sword.
and finally ended your pain.

Monstadt and Liyue boys: You fall asleep on them, and they fall asleep on you. Plus a bonus for some of them!
Diluc, Venti, Kaeya, Albedo, Chongyun, Kazuha, Childe, Aether, Xiao, Xingqiu, Zhongli, Scaramouche
No Warnings
Headcanons, Gender Neutral (They/Them, You/Yours)
A spoiler for We Will Be Reunited in Aether’s second story, but its vague
Diluc
You fall asleep on them
It was a tiring day of commisions and the like, but you wanted to spend at least some time with your boyfriend. He was rambling on and on about his day and other stressful things that you could’t help but doze off. It took him a bit to notice, but when he did, he blushed. He knew the sofa wasn’t the most comfortable and gently carried you to your room, placing you on your bed, tucking you in. As he turned to leave, you clung to sleeve, silently asking him to stay. He gently nodded, and crawled in next to you. You and him both slept better than ever before.
They fall asleep on you
It was basically the reverse, but you couldn’t carry him, and just curled up next to him, drifitng off with his arms wrapped around you. He looked calm, and at peace. He genuinely trusted you. When he woke up, he blushed. He didn’t move until you woke up, and if you did before him he would apologise, face still tinted red. You forgave him, giving him a soft kiss. It was moments like this he adored, just being able to show his soft side. It was also a small gossip among the maids for about two days, but he never found out.
Bonus: PDA opinion
Not a huge fan of PDA, but if someone’s getting too touchy, won’t hesitate to pull you close. And show off his vision. If he’s around Kaeya, like at the tavern, he doesn’t mean to be rude but may slightly ignore your affections, just to spare you both from the teasing. Afterwards, will kiss your forehead and apologise, explaining his reasons. You forgave him, as always. You did understand, Kaeya was a menace at times.
Venti
You fall asleep on them
You were rested in his lap, as he played his Lyre. The tune was so calming, you weren’t particularly tired but drifted off. It took Venti awhile to notice. Only when he asked if you wanted to go for a walk, and you didn’t reply, did he notice. The bard didn’t wish to wake you, and let the lyre vanish into the winds. He let out a soft ‘Ehe~’ before leaning against the tree, and playing with your hair. He did drift off soon, with a comfortable expression.
They fall asleep on you
It was a late night, and you were carrying Venti back from the bar, as he was far too drunk to get home on his own. You got home and changed, your boyfriend laughing and waiting for you. You walked over to him on the bed, before wrapping your arms around his small frame, and pulling him close. You talked for a bit to him, noticing he had fallen asleep when he cuddled closer and his breathing was softer. You gently laughed, kissing his forehead before falling asleep yourself.
Bonus: PDA opinion
Unless you don’t want it, there is a lot of PDA, he just wants everyone to know your his beloved! Will cuddle or hug or kiss you anywhere from on the streets, to the tavern to the middle of the forest. His favourite place to cuddle with you, is of course, Windrise. He loves to rest with you there.
Kaeya
You fall asleep on them
You couldn’t help it! Despite the captain’s cryo vision, he was warm. And comfortable. And..Well, you could go on and on with excuses. It happened when you two were cuddling after a pretty tough day for the both of you. You tried to stay awake, but failed. He noticed quickly, with a chuckle. “Oh? Falling for me yet again..Adorable.” He kissed your forehead, and stayed awake, mainly because he had more work to do. He decided to put you to bed first, not wishing you to be uncomfortable.
They fall asleep on you
Similiar to Venti, you had to walk him home from the tavern. You struggled a bit, as he was somehow more clingy than you expected. You did get home, but not without struggle. “(Name)~” Kaeya whined, as you lead him to your room, letting him stay there. You knew what he wanted, and stayed. You leaned against the headboard, Kaeya clinging to your side. You stroked his hair until he fell asleep. You fell asleep soon as well. He was embarrassed when you mentioned how he acted, but played it off like it was intentional.
Bonus: PDA opinion
Another one for PDA. He’s flirty in public, but will stop or tone it down if you ask, he doesn’t want to make you discomforted, after all. He wouldn’t hesitate to be even more clingy if somebody was bothering you. Kaeya loves you, and will never let you think otherwise.
Albedo
You fall asleep on them
Albedo knew you didn’t understand much about the experiment he was explaining, but was glad you listened to him. “And that’s how...” He trailed off, noticing you were asleep on his shoulder. “I suppose it was a boring topic for them..” He muttered with a smile. He didn’t want to wake you, knowing how important sleep was for you, so he gently pulled you in his lap and wrapped his arms around you. Resting his head on your shoulder, he too fell asleep. His body was warm, a difference to the cold air of Dragonspine, and a nice one. Or, maybe it was just the fire that flickered in the background.
They fall asleep on you
You had begged the Chief Alchemist to take a break, as he had been working for a week straight. Albedo had deniend the need for rest, but the bags under his eyes said otherwise. He eventually gave in and you pat the sofa, with a happy smile. It wasn’t long that you felt a weight against your chest, and saw he was asleep. “I told you so..” You said, rolling your eyes in a loving manner. You stayed awake to make sure he stayed asleep, and he did until the morning, where he thanked you. You could never get his sleeping face out your mind, it was absolutely precious, and it was nice seeing him so at ease.
Chongyun
You fall asleep on them
Chongyun was rambling about some encounter he almost had with a spirit, but you weren’t paying much attention, only listening to the sound of his voice. He noticed when you leaned against his shoulder, eyes shut and breathing soft. He didn’t want to move, despite him beginning to overheat. He tried to gently move you so he could get a popsicle, but when he heard you mumble, he froze. The exorcist didn’t move, at all. He waited until you woke up, which wasn’t pleasent and he didn’t feel the best afterwards. When you noticed, you were quick to apologise and grab him one, coming up with excuses. Chongyun forgave you, he couldn’t stay mad (not that he was), at you anyway.
They fall asleep on you
Xingqiu had pranked him with a far too spicy dish and you were thankfully there, able to quickly get the situation under control and help your boyfriend. You both went back to your place, as it was getting late. You were talking, and before you knew it he was passed out agaisnt you. You couldn’t blame him, it was rather stressful earlier and he was burnt out. You gently kissed his forehead before carrying him to your room and laying down next to him. When he woke up, he was blushing, but still was calm. It surprised him, a lot.
Kazuha
You fall asleep on them
Beidou has agreed to let you come with on the next voyage they went on, and so you were pretty happy. It was a few nights in, and you and Kazuha were talking. You were leaned against him, and he had an arm around you. It was late, and it was to be expected but you drifted off to the sound of his voice, the ocean crashimg against the boat and the wind. Kazuha noticed instantly, and smiled. Beidou walked onto the deck, about to say something when he gave a small wave, asking her to be quiet. She nodded, deciding it could wait and left you two alone again.
They fall asleep on you
You hadn’t joined them this time, waiting for your beloved instead. When he got back, you were both quick to leave and talk elsewhere, which was your home. You rambled about what had happened in the mean time, while he listened. After falling asleep, he looked even more peaceful. You were happy to rest with him, knowing it wouldn’t be too long before you both would leave again.
Childe
You fall asleep on them
The harbinger had gotten some free time, and was spending it dragging you through the harbour. It was a rather long day, and you were exhausted by the time you got home. You sat on the couch, with your beloved. You were talking for awhile before the exhaustion kicked in and you dropped against his shoulder. Tartaglia didn’t expect this, and shot up, assuming you were trying to attack him, (for some reason, maybe to keep him on guard.) That was not the case, and you were thrown to the floor because of physics, and hit it, harshly. He was embarrassed to say the least, and in your moment of exhausted anger, you did smack his shoulder. He found it fair. Childe was forgiven, but only because he let you sleep in his lap instead.
They fall asleep on you
Childe returned home after a long day of training new recruits. He curled up in bed next to you. You spoke for awhile, until exhaustion set in for him, and he fell asleep. You considered pettily waking him up, like he’d done to you, but when you saw his peaceful and loving expression, you couldn’t. You kissed his cheek before falling asleep as well. His arms wrapped more around you in your shared slumber, and he was grateful when he woke that you’d let him rest. He still felt bad about the other day, and was trying to make it up to you.
Aether
You fall asleep on them
Aether had invited you to the teapot, and you were in his room. Paimon was there too, but she was eating something in the kitchen area, leaving you two alone for now. It was awhile later that you had grown tired, and Aether had as well. He opened his arms and let you cuddle close. This was all fine and dandy until Paimon entered the room. “Aether! We’re out of sticky honey roast!!!” She mentioned, practically yelling. You let out a tired and confused mumble, being awoken by the yelling. Aether gently hushed you, and covered your ears. “Paimon, if you don’t shut up right now..I will tell Xianling to turn you into emergency food. That is a threat.” He said, his tone tired but harsh. Paimon squeaked and quickly left. You were both undisturbed for the rest of the night.
They fall asleep on you
Aether entered your home, and he seemed distraught. He explained everything that happened with his sister, and sobbed into your arms. You were worried, and let him cry it out. You noticed Paimon was no-where to be seem and assumed he’d asked to be alone. It took awhile, but his breathing slowed and he’d..well he’d cried himself to sleep. You were just glad he was mostly uninjured, gently stroked his hair, hoping to keeo him asleep. It worked, as he slept throught the night fully.
Xiao
You fall asleep on them
You had spent the day at the balcony of Wangshu Inn, waiting for you adepti boyfriend. It had been a slow day, but you hadn’t slept much and were tired. This didn’t stop you from offering a bright smile as your beloved appeared. You both talked about what things you’d seen recently, and as always he was a bit shy. You wished you could’ve told him that you were tired, but you didn’t want to waste what time you had with Xiao. It was well into the evening when you felt your tiredness kick in, and you fell asleep, against him. It surprised the Adeptus, and before either of you knew it, he vanished. You woke up instantly, and looked around for him. You sighed with a bit of disappointment, you wanted to apologise, and weren’t sure how.
They fall asleep on you
It was days later he made an appearance again, you rushed over to him, apologising on repeat. Xiao softly hushed you, guilt in his eyes. He’d spoken to Verr Goldet, and she’d told him the best course of action. He’d let you hold him, and both of you eventually drifted off, he apologised again in the morning. You’d already forgiven him. Plus, the fact he’d let you get so close and even hold him in his sleep was proof he trusted you.
Xingqiu
You fall asleep on them
It was an agreed date, you could rest and he would read. Plus, you’d be in each other’s company, which was great for the both of you. Xingqiu let you rest against him as he read, encouraging you to get the sleep you needed. You were a bit suspicious, assuming this would be some prank, but trusted him anyway. That proved to be a mistake, as when you awoke and walked back, you recieved odd looks. You didn’t understand until you got to your mirror, and saw the small doodles he’d drawn on your face. You were embarrassed, heavily. You swore to get your revenge.
They fall asleep on you
Xingqiu entered your home, it was a long day for him. All he really wanted was just to cuddle you and go to bed. You offered a sweet smile, scooching over and letting him lay next to you. After he fell asleep, you wondered on your revenge. It seemed fate had other plans as you fell asleep as well. When he woke up first, he’d expected you to have gotten some form of revenge, but noticing nothing had changed, he did feel a bit bad. When you awoke, he apologised and promised to let you rest normally next time. And when that time came, he kept his word. He didn’t want to upset you too badly, after all he was always big on chivalry.
Zhongli
You fall asleep on them
Zhongli spoke of more stories, history and the like, you normally loved listening to him and were always interested, but you’d stayed up a bit too late and were tired. You sat on his lap, as he told another one of the things that had happened in his long life. He noticed you fell asleep when your usual questions never came. He chuckled softly, kissing your forehead. He carried you to bed, and tucked you in. The archon though for a moment, before deciding to join you.
They fall asleep on you
The atmosphere was relaxed, and Zhongli wrapped his arms around you. You smiled, leaning against his chest. He rested his head on top of yours, and shuts his eyes. He didn’t mean to fall asleep, but he did. You didn’t mind, and let the archon rest. If anything, you were glad to be getting so much rest with him, something told you that others weren’t so lucky.
Scaramouche
You fall asleep on them.
It was rare moments you were able to rest with the harbinger, but you never took them for granted. You would clear your schedule when he was free, knowing Scaramouche was a busy person. The one thing you couldn’t change was your energy levels, and you were exhausted. The past week you’d done nothing but work, and rarely slept. But when he notified you he was free, you rushed over. You’d managed to hide your sleepiness so far, knowing how against physical affection he was. But your eyes grew heavy, and you dropped against him. He froze up for a moment, before shoving you off. He hadn’t even registered you were exhausted nor that you had fallen asleep. You blinked, staring at him befofe muttering a small apology and that you had to go, not wanting to bother him. He realised he messed up, and hoped to be able to let you forgive him.
They fall asleep on you
It was another time you were both thankfully free, and he had asked to meet at your place. You had nervously agreed. Upon entering, the first thing he did was apologise, which was a surprise in itself. Then after the small bit you talked, you noticed he seemed tired. He had mentioned he wanted to make it up to you...You moved closer, which confused the harbinger, before you wrapped your arms around him. He was about to protest, before you reminded him of what he had said. He nodded, with a sigh...but he had to admit, he was comfortable..and maybe this wasn’t so bad. His eyes eventually closed, and he had guessed you would shove him off like he’d done to you..but all you did was offer a smile, holding your boyfriend closer, before falling asleep yourself.

Monstadt and Liyue Boys S/O gives them flowers
No Warnings but spoilers, for a few stories.
Diluc, Venti, Razor, Kaeya, Bennet, Albedo, Chongyun, Kazuha, Childe, Aether, Xiao, Xingqiu, Zhongli
Headcanons, Gender Neutral (They/Them, You/Yours)
Diluc
It was a busy day for the man, and you’d noticed. You decided to do something small for him, at least it was to you. He’d done it many times for you, and you wanted to return the favour. You had claimed to him that you’d forgotten something at the guild, and wanted to get it. He just wanted to relax with you, and offered to tell someone else to get it. You had dismissed that and walked out, leaving your boyfriend behind. You returned about an hour later, hand-picked bouquet in hand. You walked over and found him, handing it over with a smile. Diluc stared at you, before nervously accepting it. He dearly treasured you, and was grateful you had spent time on somethinh dor him. He softly tugged you next to him, and wrapped an arm around you. He took care of the flowers, and has them planted near the winery.
Venti
Ah yes, another windblume festival. You had spent most of the festival’s duration with the archon, aside from when he needed to be elsewhere. The last day was approaching, and you wanted to do something nice for your beloved. You gathered a bunch of cecilias, and asked him to meet you in the woods. He had arrived there first, and played the lyre while waiting. You walked over, and grinned at him. Venti jumped from the tree, and walked over to you. “So! What does the love of my life ask of me?” He said with a laugh. You laughed as well, and handed him the bunch. He grinned at you, before tackling you to the ground and smothering you with kisses. “Aww! I love them. I’ll get you some too! And we can match!” He said with another laugh. He really does love you, and you won’t forget.
Razor
You had given Razor the flowers, as a gift, just to say how much you loved him. He didn’t understand why, or what to do with them. It was adorable, honestly. When you explained why you did this for him, he had nodded, and ran off. You were a bit scared, thinking you upset the male, but a few hours later and he ran up to you. You tilted your head to the side, confused. He quickly handed you a few flowers, with a smile. He looked absolutely adorable and you smiled back at him. You felt like your heart could explode with the loving way he looked at you.
Kaeya
The cavalry captain did a lot for Monstadt, even if it didn’t seem so. You noticed he seemed a little stressed lately, and hoped to brighten his day even if it was because he made fun of you. Plus, he was your boyfriend! It was practically your job to put a smile on his face. You had ran around, gathering a few of each. You walked into his office that night, as he was working. He looked up at you with a lighthearted, but tired smile. You walked over and handed the flowers to him, with a smile. “Here, for working so hard.” Kaeya did become flustered, if even just for a second. “You really have fallen for me, haven’t you? Well, that is to be expected.” He said with a teasing tone. You were now the flustered one, and you did stay the night with him.
Bennet
You’d noticed your boyfriend had seemed down lately. You couldn’t let that slide, and rushed around monstadt picking all sorts of flowers, but especially windwheel asters. You had eventually ran into him, and quickly handed the bouquet to him. “O-Oh is this for me?” He asked, blushing. You nodded, with a smile. Bennet hugged you, with a grin. It seemed his luck hadn’t affected him this time, that was until he got home and the flowers wilted, instantly. He groaned, and apologised to you the next day. You laughed it off. “It’s fine! I can just find more. I don’t mind, as long as you’re happy.” He swore his heart stopped a moment, he is in love.
Albedo
The alchemist was hard at work as always, you both were in Dragonspine. You watched your boyfriend with interest, but noticed his exhaustion. You hoped maybe this would brighten his day. You claimed you were headed out to go get some supplies for him, and you’d be gone a few days. Truth is, you had gotten the ingredients, yes. But you’d travelled all the way to Liyue to pick flowers there too. He deserved it, after all. You arrived back and handed him the ingredients. But in another pack, you had given him the flowers, you sat and waited for him to notice. When he did, he looked at you, confused. “I didn’t ask for these..” He softly said, not meaning to sound ungrateful. “I know, silly, I got these for you because I love you, and so you can research them.” He stood, and walked over to you, before hugging you gently. “Then, I thank you.” He wouldn’t tell you this, but he used some form of alchemy to keep them alive forever.
Chongyun
Chongyun didn’t know how to react when you placed flowers in his hands, with a shining smile. All he knew is that he was overheating, and was now eating a popsicle. You sat by him, a little guiltily, you hadn’t meant to trigger his condition. After calming down, he looked at you. “Hey..Don’t worry, it’s fine.” You had given a tiny nod in thanks to him, already cheering up. You spent the rest of the day trying to make up for it, but he seemed happy just being by you.
Kazuha
You cherished your boyfriend, and wanted to do something small for him. You’d asked the traveller to pick some flowers while they were in Inazuma. They had given it to you when they returned, and you rushed to your boyfriend’s side, swearing to pay them back later. You tapped his shoulder, and as he turned, held the flowers out to him. The normally laid back male was at a loss for words as he gently accepted them. You didn’t mind his lack of a response, and just hugged him instead. He gave a small smile, and hugged you in return.
Childe
You walked around, at a loss of what to do for your harbinger boyfriend. You wanted to get him flowers, but which ones? Tartaglia had never shared much about his interests, preferring to spoil you instead. You stopped in front of a bush of silk flowers, and decided that hopefully this would be enough for him. You gathered a few before rushing to find him. You did, and he greeted you with a smile as per usual. “Ah, how’s my favourite comrade doing?” You laughed, as he kissed your cheek, like he always did. You looked at him, before handing him the flowers. “I hope these are okay..you never really said what you liked and-“ You were cut off as he pulled you in his arms, with a smile. “They’re perfect, like you.” He laughed, again. But he was grateful. He really only hugged you that fast so you wouldn’t see the growing blush he had.
Aether
The traveller had just gotten back from Inazuma, and stepped off at the docks of Liyue, to be greeted by you. You had a few things, some were food, others were upgrade materials but what stood out was the bouquet you handed to him. It was neatly arranged with all the flowers of Liyue and Monstadt. “Just to give you a sense of home,” you said, opening your arms so he could hug you. Aether did, and held you close. You ran your fingers through his hair, he was stressed but this cheered him up, you as a whole did.
Xiao
The adeptus blinked at you, and you stared at him. It was a late night on the Wangshu Inn’s balcony, when you had lovingly offered him the flowers you had picked for him. Xiao wasn’t used to this affection, or affection in general. You were nervous, as he hadn’t accepted them. It took a few more minutes, before he snatched them, and disappeared. You didn’t see him for a few days, before he appeared with a bouquet of your favourites. “Sorry..I was just surprised.” You quickly forgave him and accepted it, giving a kiss on the cheek. “Thank you.” Now, he was blushing.
Xingqiu
You were on a date with your boyfriend, and as always, he’d given you flowers like the chivalric gentleman he is. You wanted to return the favour, and did on your next date. The surprise on his face was adorable as you passed it to him. “My love..what a surprise, I will accept it with honor.” He said, gently taking them from your hands. He kneeled, took your hand in his and kissed your hand. You were the one blushing, as always and laughed, helping him up. He kept holding your hand, and took you to a relaxing area where he calmly read with and to you.
Zhongli
Ever the gentlemen, he would always be prepared with gifts he forced asked Childe to get for you. You felt like a bit of a bad person doing this, but he deserved it. You had gathered a few glaze lillies, and brought them to the next date. It was a bit of a hassle not getting caught, but it was worth it when you saw the shock on his normally chill expression. “I hope this is enough to repay you..” He shook his head with a smile, and pulled you close. “There is no need to pay me back, dear, I do it all because I love you.” You grinned, clinging to him. It was nice, just being safe with him.

Diluc X Reader
Warnings: Angst, Blood, Death, Swearing, Injury, Bone-breaking, Mentions of self hate
Probably goes against canon but what do I care?
Gender Neutral (They/Them, You/Yours)
It had been a long month for the winery owner. Diluc had returned home, hoping to just get some quiet. That’s all he wanted, at least an hour. Just a bit of time to calm down from the weeks of nothing but work, fighting and stress. By some luck, the abyss had picked up its work at the same time many orders had come in, and other things had been sabotaged.
Fate had other plans, because just as he walked inside, you rushed over to him, with a worried look in your eyes. “Diluc! Are you okay?” You asked, looking him up and down, checking for injuries. “I’m fine, (Name). But would you leave me alone, just for an hour? I need a break.” He asked, seeming exhautsed.
“Absolutely not! You were gone for a month, wirh zero contact to anyone but the staff. Do you have any idea how worried I was?!” You snapped back in retort. You couldn’t help it, he’d left with no warning and didn’t bother even sending a letter, or leaving a note? If it wasn’t for the staff telling you otherwise, you would’ve thought he died in a battle.
“(Name). I said it once, and I’ll say it again. I just need one hour. Then you can worry all you want.” Diluc said, his eyes narrowing, growing frustrated. You didn’t seem to notice, and continued pestering him. It took just a few more pushes, before he finally snapped.
Diluc’s tone was harsh, and held clear irritation. He massaged his forehead, aggravated. “Are you unable to understand I don’t want to be around you right now? It would’ve just been an hour, but I need a break. I’ll see you later.” And with that, he turned, leaving the main room. You yourself were angry, and tried to be as caring as possible towards him, and he took that for granted. (At least in your eyes, he did.)
You felt like it was maybe a decision made in anger, but you walked out. You decided that if he was going to hurt you like this, you would hurt him in return. Not directly, no. From afar, by supporting the one thing he hated the most in life. The Abyss. You’ll work to help their plans from the sidelines.
It was a long time later, maybe a few months. You didn’t know exactly, you hadn’t even returned to the city, unless it was for an attack. It was an odd encounter when you accidentally ran into an abyss mage, and they assumed you would attack. When you explained the situation, it seemed pleased. It had reported back to the others, and you were now regarded as an ally. You were thriving, especially knowing this was revenge on him. He had shoved you aside like you were disposable, (which wasn’t true, but that’s how you saw it.) and you were angry.
On the other hand, Diluc, was distraught. None of the maids knew where you’d gone, you hadn’t said a word, just like he did. He hoped that you were just busy, commissions, work from the knights, helping the traveller, anything other than being dead. He could never guess what you had done, he would never assume something like that of you. He’d tried by the knights, and only doubted them more. The adventurer’s guild hadn’t seen you either in monstadt nor liyue. He’d even asked the traveller, and got nothing.
It was as if, you had disappeared. He didn’t want to think you were dead. He didn’t want to think it was anything like that. Maybe you were avoiding him, seeing as that fight was pretty rough and maybe he had been too harsh..Wait..
“The abyss! They..they could’ve taken them...I should never have let my guard down, what have I done...” Diluc yelled out to nobody in particular, as he was alone in the manor. “They probably think I hate them..” He muttered, and despite swearing he wouldn’t let himself cry again. A tear fell, and then another, and then he was sobbing into his hands. He didn’t want to lose you. But, he was sure by now, you would never forgive him. He hadn’t even assumed you would be taken by the abyss, and now he was furious. He didn’t know the truth. He didn’t know you were apart of the group he hated the most.
An abyss mage warned you that he was looking for you, as others had been interrogated. You nodded in thanks to them, grabbing your weapon and donning the mask you had wood crafted to conceal your identity. You had dyed your hair with fruits, and your armour mostly concealed your body. As far as you were aware, he wouldn’t recognise you. The one thing you forgot, was the necklace he had given you a long time back. You had been used to wearing it normally, and hadn’t taken it off. Thankfully, it was tucked behind your armour.
The day shortly arrived when you crossed paths. He didn’t have time to ask questions before you attacked. You weren’t going to kill him, as angry as you were you couldn’t go that far. It may seem selfish, one fight and you decided to leave. But it had been many fights, many time he’s come home late, and forgotten anniversaries. All of that combined with him practically abandoning you, had caused you to break. You had tried being understanding, but that all vanished when he practically told you to fuck off.
Diluc didn’t know how bad it had hurt you, as far as he was aware, you weren’t affected. He couldn’t let his mind distract him. He had to focus on his opponent, which was a tricky one. It was as if they knew his attack patterns by heart..Well, that was the truth. “Where are they?!” His voice rang out over the battlefield, which was really just a small area of the woods. He wanted to use his elemental abilities, but something deep inside told him not to.
You hadn’t replied, only with a laugh that was sarcastic, and a shake of your head. Why did that laugh sound so familiair...It couldn’t be! Could it...? He didn’t have time to make up his mind, as his opponent missed a defence, and his claymore slit across their chest, shredding the armour and cutting deep, just barely missing any vital organs. A crack could be heard and you were sure something was shattered. The necklace could also be seen, and it loosely hanged as you brought your hands up to cover the injury, and stop the bleeding. As the blade had hit, your scream ripped through the area. You were sobbing, and in agony. It felt like you were dying, and perhaps..maybe you were.
Diluc’s eyes narrowed, noticing the necklace. “I’ll ask one last time. Where. Is. (Name)? You have their necklace, you’ve encountered them.” His voice was cold, and his blade was still ready. His elemental burst was also ready, he wasn’t taking any chances. “I won’t hesitate to kill you if you lie, or stay silent.” He approached closer, lowering the blade to your neck. You stared at him through the mask, before your hand shot up and ripped it off. “Me! Damnit Diluc, it’s me..” You sobbed out again, grasping the wound with both hands again.
Diluc stared. The claymore still held in his hands, before he tossed it to the side. “(Name)...I..I’m sorry..Were you forced to do this?! When did they take you..?” His voice was cracking, and all his self-respect and tough act disappeared. “They didn’t..I joined them.” You confessed, still staring into his eyes.
“Why would you-“ He almost yelled, before you yelled in return. “Because of you! I was sick of being treated like shit, and being ignored. Y-You would work and work and completely ignore me! I was sick of it.” He was silent, staring, and blinking. He couldn’t be mad at you, this was his fault. “And then when you decided to leave for an entire month, then shove me off like I meant nothing?! I was fucking done.”
Diluc dropped down next to you, he knew he didn’t have enough time to get you back to Monstadt, but that didn’t mean he wouldn’t try. He picked you up in his arms, holding you close to his chest. He wasn’t upset at you, he couldn’t be. He caused this. He was at fault. He didn’t know why you would put yourself in such danger, just to get back to him. “Please..hold on. I swear I’ll-“ You cut him off by bringing your hand to his cheek, wiping the blood and tears from his eyes. “Forgive me, Diluc, but it’s too late. Don’t be mad at yourself, I love you..” You coughed out, knowing your time was coming.
Your hand fell, and body grew cold. He froze. He couldn’t move, only holding you closer. He dropped to his knees, sobbing, and cursing himself. Muttering things of ‘this is my fault’ ‘I shouldn’t have snapped at them..’ and the like. He couldn’t believe this was reality, he didn’t want it to be. He couldn’t move. He was compeletely frozen. He knew he never said it enough, and it was too late now, but he said it anyway. “(Name)..I love you too.”
Diluc never did forgive himself. And he surounded himself with more work than before. He didn’t find love again, not after knowing he killed the person he considered the love of his life. The person he would be with forever.
~Bonus Ending that isn’t canon to this fic~
“Diluc...Diluc!” Your voice woke him up, he was out in the gardens and you were standing in front of him. He stared at you, you being uninjured and well, not dead. “Are you okay?! You were crying! Was it a nightmare?” You asked, sitting beside him. “I made you something as an apology. I should’ve let you take a break. Could you forgive me?” You passed the small treat over to him, and he took it, eyes never leaving you.
“Thank you, (Name). And I should apologise, how about I take the next month off? We can spend it together, how does that sound?” He offered, with a small smile. “That would be great! There’s this one super pretty area we could go to and..” He listened to your rambling, with this peaceful look. He would do anything to make sure that nightmare wasn’t a reality. “Let us go inside, shall we?” He calmly said, keeping his composure. You nodded with a smile. The two of you stood, and he wrapped an arm around your waist.
“Oh, and (Name)?”
“Yes..?”
“I love you. A lot. And I never want to lose you.”

Holding off with Kirumi, I’m not too sure on how to right hers so I’ll leave it for now, likely changing it to a different character later
