Second day at the gym

So as I said the last time, it is really hard for me (as a skinny nerd guy) to go th the gym alone, because it feels awkward. I was suppoed to go last friday but my friend had other plans and I just don't have enough courage to go alone yet. Today was different because I was more confident or I tried to be, I noticed that there’s some unspoken rules in the gym like when a more fit guy ask you if you finished training in a machine you should just let him train in it Or if you ask a fit guy for some advice, he would help more than you asked he would be more like a mentor to you. I still have a thesis to complete.

My first day at the gym

So I decided this was it, no more procrastination, no more excuses, it's time to get fit. That was 2 months ago. It's so hard as a skinny nerd guy like me, to just walk in to this places filed with muscular guys waiting to judge you, I couldn't overcome this idea, so I waited till one of my ripped friends started going again to the gym, and I went with him to be like a mentor to me. my First impression was : shit I don't belong her everyone was ripped even 11 years old boys looked more fit. I was panicking but I'm good at hiding feelings so humor was my friend every time I couldn't lift some weight or do something wrong. As a conclusion it was weird but my friend told it's always so in the beginning. So I hope for the best. My motto is: Better be a fit weird nerd with acne than be a skinny one hhhhh More on friday
