Please send your love and support to Amal Ashour @amalashuor, and her daughter Maryam, who is merely one year and 9 months old. Half of Maryam's life has been spent enduring this genocide in Gaza.
Amal and her family have lost their home, and been displaced multiple times due to bombing. Currently Amal is doing her best to care for her daughter, and to save money in order to evacuate herself, her husband, and her daughter from Gaza.
Right now, Amal desperately needs money in order to feed her family, buy diapers and milk for her daughter, and pay rent for where her family is staying. Maryam is at risk of serious malnutrition unless Amal can get baby food and milk for her. Amal does not have any income other than this fundraiser right now, as she is unable to work due to the ongoing genocide. She needs ~$5,000 dollars just to survive each month, and even more to evacuate.
€38,263 / €50,000
The good news is that Amal is more than halfway to her goal of €50,000, and you can help get her there! As of writing this, Amal still needs €11,737 to reach her goal. Donations have been slow, but you can change that! With your help donating and sharing Amal's campaign, she can reach her goal, care for her family, and hopefully evacuate to safety soon.
Amal's campaign is #175 on the vetted campaigns list by @/el-shab-hussein and @/nabulsi.
Trapped Family in Gaza Appeals for Help to Survive
A Plea for Help from Gaza: A Family Seeking Safety
Hello, I am Asmaa Ayyad, daughter of a family of 8 members.
We live in the midst of the ongoing hellish war in Gaza, trapped between walls of fear and despair.
We struggle daily to survive in an environment filled with threats and dangers.
My father and brothers lost our only source of income and our house was destroyed and we are now homeless 💔
We urgently appeal for your moral and financial assistance to cover the necessary costs for escaping to a safe environment, where we can build a better future for our children and ensure our family's safety.
We are in desperate need of your support. Any donation, no matter how small, can help save our lives. Thank you for your attention and support during these harsh times.
I am Mahmoud's wife. Unfortunately, I wanted to inform you that my husband Mahmoud was injured in the head, which caused a skull fracture that descended onto the nerves of the brain and affected the nerves of speech, hearing, and sight.
Mahmoud's condition is very critical and he must go abroad for treatment. He was injured 3 days ago and underwent surgery to clean his head. The doctors are telling us that he needs to undergo a major operation to remove the shrapnel or fix it to the skull bone so that no nerves in the brain are cut off.
Please donate and share this post widely so that we can get my husband out and receive treatment abroad.
People say: "Family always comes First," and to that, I say: "Amen!".
My precious family and I are seeking your generous donations to help us escape death in Gaza and evacuate to Egypt. It breaks our hearts to pieces to even think about evacuating from our beloved Gaza where we've lived our entire lives and have had unnumberable beautiful memories. Throughout the ten months of the ravaging war in Gaza, the 10 members of my family have been displaced four times in the Gaza Strip seeking every avenue to escape imminent death.
At one time, my family and I barely escaped death when sniper bullets hit the house where we sought refuge, and thank God no one of the children was injured. The children and adults alike had to crawl on the floor to move from one room to another to minimize the risk of getting a bullet in the head or chest. We saw flashbacks before our eyes from our journey in life and thought: "This is the end. Here is where everyone in this family dies." I looked at the children with a heavy heart and thought to myself: "Should not they be playing football or hide and seek instead of trying to hide from Israeli sniper bullets?"
However, I will not save a breath in trying to protect my family and secure a joyous prosperous future for our children. With your generous donations, my family and I will leave famine, death, and destruction in Gaza and get into Egypt. The Egyptian authorities require 5000 dollars for each adult individual who wants to get into Egypt and half that amount from children. The remainder of the money will be used for daily supplies and living expenses in Egypt.
With your generous donations, we have a better chance of escaping death and enjoying the safety for which we've dearly longed for ten months.

Journalist Hamza Hammad shares an update from colleague Ali Abu Shahab in Shuja’iyya. Ali reports absolute chaos and horror in the eastern Gaza City neighborhood. Occupation military vehicles advance while drones and warplanes bomb civilian homes. Civilians are attempting to flee, but have nowhere to go. No “evacuation” corridor has been established by the IOF, and terrified displaced civilians are running frantically through the streets. People are panicking, and the dead and dying remain where they fell in the roads.
