An update:
Hi guys, it’s been a minute. Since my last post, I’ve really had to dial it back. I’ve been trying to mitigate stress and recently, trying to seek more in-depth answers about my health. I have a lot of dysfunction, imbalance, and theories.
The precursor to a glow up era is really just getting your health back to baseline, and I realize mine isn’t . I haven’t abandoned this blog or glowing up, just dealing with a lot and seeking answers. Not much glow up info to document, just research and blood tests. The traditional healthcare system is so effing inefficient. I might go see a functional medicine doctor.
They say weight loss is an insulin game, and I think mine is out of whack. Among other hormones being out of whack. Current plan of attack is to stabilize my hormones, but I need someone to just fully assess me and find all the root causes for my overall dysfunction and prescribe me with things.
🌟2025 is about finding answers.
🌟2026 will be about execution.
🌟2027 I will be glowing.

I really just need some effing TLC. I’ve had gut issues my whole life. It runs in my family. I come from a long line of people ignoring their gut health and slapping on a bandaid (laxative abuse) when they get debilitating flare ups. Time for some root cause analysis. And this will be so worth it when I’m NOT bloated the majority of the time. And I deserve optimal health. Plus the bioindicators of good health translate to looking radiant😂.
As for progress, I might have a sensitivity to nightshades. Currently taking 1 capsule of nutrafol a day and NOTHING else until my body gets used to it. I’m so ready for this. I just want hair lol.

Been MIA lately. I put my glow up journey on the back burner at the end of last year to set and prepare for my new year goals.
I decided to approach my glow up this year from an angle/focus on health. Basically, I’m starting from the ground up. No more building a house on unstable foundation.
Instead of ignoring my issues, I need to find all my issues, fix them, and THEN fine tune. Glowing up is fine tuning. My current focuses will be:
🌟Heal my gut
🌟Treat deficiencies
🌟Stress management
🌟Treat hair loss
🌟Consistent skincare
🌟Go to all of my checkups
Currently taking Nutrafol and on day 5. Starting a low FODMAP diet and finally starting a journey of figuring out what the hell is wrong with my gut so I can fix it. I’m also limiting inflammatory foods. This is going to give me structure and set me up for success on my glow up journey. My main focuses will be gut health and stress management.

🌟Made a winter arc inspo for my Pinterest board
Lol you can’t read the treadmill, but overall did almost 17k steps for the whole day. Steamed egg with spinach, mushroom, and green onion on top of quinoa for a high protein, gut-healthy breakfast. Old fashioned oatmeal with cinnamon, vanilla extract, chopped almonds, flaxseed, pumpkin seeds, and blueberries. Meal prepped sautéed bok choy, tofu, and shiitake mushrooms topped with hemp hearts and a side of quinoa for extra protein.

Veggie curry with chickpeas and mushrooms for protein, lots of gut-healthy stuff that also makes your skin glow. Plus quinoa for additional protein. I might be an eater of baby carrots now haha, we’ll see😆. And vanilla chia pudding with vanilla Greek yogurt and blueberries.

Caffeine is the exception, not the rule. And never coffee unless it’s decaf. Antioxidant-rich, anti-inflammatory smoothie. And it’s hydrating. All amazing for skin. Cold pressed juices, one with beets, the other with carrots and oranges. Also very good for skin.
