I went for a 5 mile walk this morning, it took me almost 2 hours. I've been building up to it incrementally for the past week and a half; I'd eventually like to be able to run it, but that's a long way away. Still, I'm really proud of myself for getting back into the habit of exercise. It was nice and cool out, cloudy the whole time but no wind or rain, the absolute perfect conditions I could have asked for! My walking speed was surprisingly consistent, took me exactly 50 minutes to go each way, 2½ miles out, 2½ miles back, exactly 3 miles per hour overall.
I got an enormous blister on my left big toe. It was bugging me all day, so I made the horrendous mistake of popping it and the even worse mistake of peeling away the dead skin. Both of those are major no-no's, but I only googled that after the fact. Whoops. Live and learn... I put some neosporin on it, and I'll take some antibiotics in the morning.
I've been going on long walks every other day, but this blister mistake may throw a wrench in my Friday plans. I don't think walking 5 or more miles on an open wound is advisable. The sweat and friction in my socks would be terrible...

I got a huge water bottle that can hold all my water for a day (85 floz/2.5 L), and suddenly it’s been so easy to get all my water each day... I didn’t realize that needing to refill my other water bottle was such a barrier lol. I’ve been so hydrated for the last three days, and off to a great start today already too! Yesterday I even drank some extra water. 
I also lowered my step goal to 8,000 this week, and have hit that a few times by getting in little walks. I’d always wanted to keep that at 10,000 since that’s the “magic number,” and I’d figure that if I could get 8k then I could get 10k. But that logic hasn’t been workin out for me. 🙃
Yay for making goals more attainable!

not a good day but I was in a defecit and got over 10k steps for the 3rd time in a row, without even going outside today.
total: ~ 1400 calories in (I did say it was bad)
calories burned:
excercise: 435
total: 1700
breakfast:
- special K ~75cal
snack:
- oreo donut from yesterday ~326cal
lunch:
- macaroni cheese school dinner (high guess 350cal but I hope it was lower, I didn't eat all of it)
- 13cal Rubicon spring
after school:
- kellogs nutri grain breakfast bar (I don't know why I ate this. mindless eating is my worst enemy, I will see it and think oh, there's some food... better eat it I guess) ~131cal
dinner:
I really didn't want to eat dinner but it's mandatory in my boarding hostel. I wanted to purg3333 but I've never done it and I was too scared.
- beef stew (I only had a little bit)
- mashed potato (too much)
- broccoli (the only thing I actually wanted to eat)
total has a high guess of 400cal
after dinner:
- like 3 nibbles of a rice crispy cake because I thought it was chocolate (another mindless eating thing) but it was dates or something so I didn't eat most of it. (idk like 10cal
- a waffle with the tiniest drizzle of syrup (I said 150cal but again it was homemade and not by me so i cant be sure.)

You guyssssss! This whole 10k steps plan is WORKING! It's been 2 days of getting 10k+ steps and my weight has dropped! A few days ago I weighed 250.8 and today I weigh 247.9!! I'm so happy! And I think this is something I can keep up with. (I know, I say that every time I start something new to lose weight) I'm actually getting ready to go for a walk again today because I'm not working. I may got for 2 or 3 walks to get my steps. There are a few other things I can do around the house to get steps in too.
I have to give credit to @jacqattacq. I've been watching her blog posts and updates and have seen how she is walking 10k steps every day to burn more calories. She's such a huge inspiration! Thanks girl! I love seeing your posts on here every day and the way you boost everyone else up! It has sure helped me! 🥰

I'm so MAD
I get at least 10.000+ steps every day but because of my work, where I can't have my phone or any electronics with me, my step counting app only shows 7-8k steps....
It makes me so Furious esp since I'm in a gc where we do a 10k step challenge and I can never show that I actually hit 10k steps...
How do I know I hit 10k steps daily? Well for a while I was allowed to have my phone on me all the time (also at work) and I always had 11k/ 12k steps. Since I'm doing the same stuff
I KNOW I hit 10k step minimum daily 😐

Dec 11-17, 2023 Weekly fitbit report
Trend of averaging at least 10k steps a day correlating to loss on the scale continued. This week has been cold, rainy and windy, so it's been a challenge getting walks in, so we'll see what happens next week, if I can continue this streak.

There is nothing like a long weekend and there is nothing like a walk in the bracing sea air to start one off. It was pretty chilly out there, it certainly blew any cobwebs away. Hope it warms up a bit for the rest of the weekend though. It is supposed to be summer time after all.

7/25 days of productivity (again)
I'm so stressed rn, I have 2 (two!!) important tests/finals, whatever you call Klausuren in english tomorrow.
That's why I'm "starting" at 7/25 days, I have been learning and studying soooo much the last week and got so much inspiration from studyblr, but i didn't take any pictures sooo... yeah.
Yesterday I finalky found some free time to meet with some friends and walk through the city, see pics above🏙️
Today I'm doing 2 hours minimum of civil law, and two hours minimum of micro and macro economics.
Also french on duolingo + reading a chapter of "infinite jest"

Legs for my third gym session this week! And notice the four checkmarks for exercise this week vs zero last week and two the others. Just doing this out of enjoyment & intuition for now, not making serious goals right now.
Besides the gym sessions, I also had three 2-mile walks this week - that helped me get 10,000 steps on 4 of the last 7 days! 🙌🏼

heyy everyone! how are you? i’m new here!
i wanna share with me my 75 days challenge, i’m already on my 12th day.
Every day i’m doing more than 10k steps (7-8 km at least) plus pilates and home workout.
I have an ed (e4t1ng d1s0rder), but i’m getting better and i’m starting to have a good relationship with food.💕
