Traven Watase is the founder of Scholar’s App, designed to assist with finding and applying for scholarships. The idea stemmed from Watase’s passion for giving chances to those who have the desire to go to college without the confusion and stress that can come with financial planning. Watase’s experience at University of Hawai’i at Mānoa’s Pacific Asian Center for Entrepreneurship (PACE) gave them access to resources they otherwise wouldn’t have had.
Watase encourages that, “The highs and lows are a part of the process and are generally not indicators of success or failure; ride them out!”

William Aulet and Rowena Barrett discussed three key traits that comprise an entrepreneurial mindset during a webinar hosted by Massachusetts Institute of Technology-Sloan. The cultivation of an entrepreneurial mindset can significantly enhance one's ability to identify and capitalize on opportunities, navigate risks, and execute ideas successfully. These traits help entrepreneurs recognize gaps in the market, adapt to uncertainty, and effectively turn ideas into tangible results.

Are you ready to redefine intelligence and revolutionize the way we nurture creators? Over 15 years ago, Sir Ken Robinson urged for an education revolution by embracing the changing world by embracing creativity in this thought-provoking TED Talk. Robinson explores the path to unleashing a new era of innovation and fulfillment that inspires us to seek change.
Watch the full TED Talk here: https://www.ted.com/talks/sir_ken_robinson_do_schools_kill_creativity
Robinson asserts that creativity is as important as literacy in education and should be accorded the same level of significance. He observes that children are unafraid to take risks and make mistakes, rather they embrace the possibility of being wrong in fostering creativity. However, as children grow into adults, they tend to lose this capacity due to a fear of making mistakes, which is perpetuated by a society that stigmatizes errors. To combat this, Robinson calls for broader recognition of diverse talents and equal recognition of creativity alongside traditional subjects.
