Everything & Nothing

There are differences between everything & nothing

You can get everything you want and still have nothing

You can acquire nothing and yet have everything

Isn’t that like a oxymoron?

Everything is sometimes attractive to everybody. Yes-men & beneficiaries alike. I’ve had my fair share of everything and to witness the seemingly invincible capabilities it brought about it can create a sense of identity if you’re not careful.

When I had nothing I observed how my life became a mere spectacle for some. The same everybodies became spectators, “nobody.”

It makes you wonder, who’s who?

Who am I to you?

Nobody. Nothing.

Life is given. Life is taken away.

Everything is given. Everything is taken away.

Everybody will love you when you are up because it is hard not to.

Somebody will love you when you are down, again because it is hard not to.

Note to self: don’t be so desperate to gain everything that you get out of character. That is worth nothing.

Forgive yourself for your own ignorance. Let your knowledge guide you & keep an open heart along the way.

Everything is learned through trial & error.

Nothing is still something to learn from in the end.

Made a little history yesterday with @carsonbyrdotcom and got to Dj @wordofmouthkaraoke for DC Parks and Recc. Took this during set up and couldn’t get too much more after because so many people came up to do their favorite songs. It was the best feeling ever to do what you love and make people smile along the way. Both shirts are still available via @starterofficial online.
