My speaking event and art show tomorrow has many facets. I knew I had to ask for help and delegate some of the tasks. Once delegated tasks I felt relief. Then I got to witness as others did just what I asked them to do... my ego launched an internal tantrum that I am still impressed with! Art goes through many stages and phases before it is complete. As I walk past my office this morning I see so much of they journey I have been on in the past 6+ years. Mid-January through mid-March I took an opportunity to Be Still, Meditate and Prepare... for what I didn’t know. I just followed the whisper of “Be Still and Know.” During that time I did minimal socializing and interacting in person and online. I listened to the Silence for anywhere from 20 minutes to 8 hours each day. I did a lot of Forgiving of the Projections I had placed on my past and the world around me. I went deep into emotions, all that came up in me, until they were done with me. All of this was a very personal experience. I didn’t do it because something was wrong. I didn’t do it to be right, or better than anyone else. I did it because I was called to do it. What I can share now is; I don’t see life as something that happens to me. I see life as a string of experiences that have been used so God (what I call the Source of all of Life) can come through me to Love others, and share what I have learned from all of its messy and beautiful moments. This has been part of my journey leading to this moment.
