THIS, like i'm all abt headcanons and opinions. But, actively changing his character to project which is not terrible but it doesnt mean you change what the author was going for. He is incredible because he did those actions in his situation not because he is supposed to have this morally perfect compass. But because he has that compassion to make him who he is.

Something I think thats interesting/really tiring about the wwx morality debate is that I think some people, in an effort to understand wwx as a "morally good character", tend to take their own preconceptions of moral ideals and then squish wwx into that box, whether or not he did or would actually share those ideals. But in my opinion, that's kind of like putting the cart before the horse-- wwx already has his own ideals and actions that make up who he is, and those are what define him as good. It's not necessarily that he did all this positive action because he's supposed to be a great person, but that he's a great person because of who he is and what he does

-lover dies protecting kids and hero

-hero returns back to fighting to get revenge and also to take mind off grief

-pretty much abandons the kids who are still pretty young

-kids raise themselves

-hero is praised for being a parent and saving the world at the same time

-identity of kids is known to the world

-kids never hold grudge agaisnt parent and still love and care for them

-hero is often away with mission and on rare occations when present, either is dismissive or ignoring kids

-hero is a very shitty parent, pretty much emotionally and mentally unavalible and sometimes abusive

-maybe has raised their hands against kids a few times idk

-just very mentally unstable around kids

-kids are the sweetest and kindest ppl ever

-tragedy occurs and somehow kids die (ages 19, and 16 respectively)

-hero is suddenly slapped in the face with their past deeds

-"oh god i am a horrible parent"

-kids last words are smth like "it's okay" or "mom" or "we never blamed you" idk some sentimental shit

-hero realizes their teammates gave more of a shit abt kids than the hero themself

-hero loses mind in grief

-hero goes through old belonging of kids trying to learn as much abt them and the lives they missed

-hero suddely wakes up in the past after destroying the universe

-seeing kids alive and hero suddely becomes an overprotective, awkward yet well meaning parent

-cue very confused but happy kids

-hero making up for time lost

-maybe one kid has life threatening illness and hero goes through hell and back to cure them

-lover is still dead tho lol (rip)

A book about a faceless character where we know about them through the view of other characters.

wherein: Each chapter is about MC telling the story of their life through different character's perspective, from birth to death. The reader only knows what other characters think of MC and how they view them, but never the true MC.

We can only see the MC through the eyes of the other people in their life, therefore never really knowing what MC is like or what the look like, hence the faceless facade. Each charater views MC differently and the reader only gets subtle hints of their looks but nothing certain.

Que the final chapter where we finally see the true MC as that chapter is written through their perspective of how they see themself.

But truthfully it is up to the reader's imagination of how MC looks like because even though the final chapter is from MC's perspective, our own view of ourself is never fully honest as it is easily distorted by our thoughts and surroundings.

The book will give the pieces of the puzzle and it is up to the reader to assemble and decide how THEY view MC.

Stupid midnight ideas:

An isekai where some random non-english speaker gets the classic truck-kun sandwich and gets transmigrated into a european rom-fan style novel,

but instead of the cute cheesy and cliche "escape my death" or "marry the duke of thr north" they are jut fucking confused bc wth are these ppl saying, and the entire novel is them trying to figure out wtf is going on with the language while somehow simutainously offending every single person they come across and managing to get the two rivals in the story to get married to each other.

Like imagine them just trying to figure how fuck Queue has 5 letters and four are silent, or like why the hell do pony and bologna rhyme.
