Some context for this comic from the story: Keith and Lance have been pining for each other for months, both thinking their crushes are unrequited. Finally, after numerous occasions where it's clear they're more than friends to everyone except them, they start realising they might be reciprocated, and decide to face their situationship. Some other context for this chapter in particular: the scenes in the fifth strip are all from different moments in the story, from when they meet up until the point of this conversation!

Summary:

It’s a matter of seconds. Blue against purple, a collision so violent that it makes him feel giddy. Lance moves his attention to his thick eyebrows, furrowed and hidden by rebellious locks of raven hair that end just above his shoulders – is that a mullet?! He clears his throat, flaunts a smile and grabs Keith's hand, shaking it almost too enthusiastically. “Pleased to meet you, I'm Lance, but you can call me McWonderfulClain!” Keith shoots him a puzzled look. “… I'll stick with Lance.” or Keith is a pianist haunted by dark thoughts and an even darker past. He attends Altea's Music Academy, but has never performed in public before, until his brother Shiro, a piano teacher, decides to promote the school with concerts at the Paladin's, the trendiest pub in town. His colleagues, Pidge and Hunk, are excited about this: he can finally meet their best friend, Lance! The first time they meet... doesn't go very well. (Neither the second, nor the third...) So, of course, no one expects Keith and Lance to fall in love at first sight. Not even them. (They also dance Single Ladies together. You're welcome!)

Preorders for We Live to Sabotage Volume II: RE:VOLUTION have been extended! Preorders will now close on June 1!

Due to the uncertainty of the tariff situation in the United States, we believe extending preorders will allow us a bit more time for the situation to stabilize so we can better tackle production once preorders end.

As a reminder, We Live to Sabotage is a collaborative fan fiction project featuring the Leakira AU based on Klance from Voltron: Legendary Defender! Volume I told the story of how Leandro (Lance) and Akira (Keith) met and fell in love. Volume II is a continuation of their story!

I'm Haryuu, a 26yo digital artist and occasionally a writer on Ao3✨

I've always loved to draw, since I was 3! I worked as a freelance artist from 2017 to 2020, but I got extremely burned out and ultimately decided to stop. I now only draw what I want and like ✨

My biggest obsessions are: Voltron (Klance), Atla and Tlok, She-ra, The Owl House, FMAb, Pokémon, Arcane, Gravity Falls, What we do in the shadows... and probably many more I don't remember 😭 I just generally love animated stuff!

I have a Degree in Cultural Heritage with a focus on Paleoanthropology! I'd like to be a lab researcher 🦴
