having bad emotional regulation bc of autism and/or adhd and being prone to outbursts/anger issues because of autism and/or adhd sucks so badly

because you'll see other people with autism/adhd who don't have trouble with those things so you keep thinking "there MUST be something else wrong with me"

but no it really is just the autism/adhd. yeaaahhh no sorry it genuinely is just that. yes there's other people you know with autism/adhd who don't experience those traits. yes those people might not understand or account for YOUR emotional problems causes by autism/adhd. yes you still have the same fucking condition(s) as them despite it. and that's just!!! how it is???? this is such bullshit 😭😭😭

the sheer amount of vicious ableism constantly coming from people who are otherwise leftists or progressive is fucking overwhelming

i've had enough of the "dark woke" shit because it was originally meant to be a way to get across leftist values without reducing yourself to being timid or "weak", but people are just using it as an excuse to overuse the r word every fucking chance they can get

even some people who are disabled will just casually be viciously ableist to other disabilities or disabilities they don't understand and dress it up with "i'm disabled so i can't be ableist" (eg. girl at my school who had leg problems so she thought it was fine to be ableist to those with mental disabilities)

anytime a disabled person defends something like homeschooling they get dogpiled and accused of being a child abuser because "homeschooling is inherently evil and abusive" even though there's so many kids with disabilities who literally can't go to school. whose local schools have zero accommodations for them. my brother literally can't go to school.

so called "leftists" keep using that fucking gif of the disabled kids looking at the bright lights as a "gotcha" against anyone they're calling dumb and if you call them out on it then you're "too woke"

i'm only a low support needs autistic person and i still feel so fucking unsafe these days with how rampant ableism is. i don't know what to do because i feel like it's only gonna get worse from here on out.

im just sick of it man. sorry for something so negative during disability pride month but it's just so much. maybe this will resonate with others. hopefully things aren't as doomed as they feel
