About Hope and Joy for Children

Hope and Joy for Children is a non-profit organization meant to help kids around the world living in poverty. We use the art of origami to benefit the less fortunate who don't have enough food, water, and other basic necessities.

This charity was started by a 5th grader named Etasha who had recently learned about people around the world who are dying due to lack of food, water, shelter, and medicine. Etasha wanted to do something about it so she used her creative talent of origami to help the needy. She hand-makes every single one of the origami pieces and sells them. 100% of the money she earns goes to Save the Children is an organization that helps orphans and refugees survive by supplying them with the needed basic nescessities. So far, Etasha has sent over $5,000 to the less fortunate just by selling her origami.
