I have news for Dekhai's chronicles. The "first" chapter isn't really the first, in fact I decided to modify the story and the creation of hearth is a topic on which I'll concentrate later. So now what was once chapter one now is chapter 0. Plus I'm almost done modifying the story, so I'll post very soon.

CHAPTER 0 NOTHINGNESS AND CHAOS

ἀρξάμενοι κατὰ φύσιν πρῶτον ἀπὸ τῶν πρώτων.

We start as by nature at the beginning from the beginning~Poetics of Aristotle

In the beginning, there was Nothingness and Chaos. And, of course, Life and Death. The two had the task of bringing order to the universe: creating stars, galaxies, worlds, and finding the best possible use for matter.

While Life was busy with its task, Death did what it did best: imagine. Death had never been particularly good at creating, but with eternity at its disposal, it thought that this ability could be improved; however, it wanted to participate in the creation of the universe, so while Life created and ordered, Death imagined. After millennia of work, when the cosmos was ready to host planets and stars, Death presented his idea to Life: he wanted to create a world to populate with beings; having created something as beautiful as the universe without being able to show it and let someone discover it would have been a waste of millennia. So Life agreed, and Dekhai was created, a world where magic was everywhere. Death created many different creatures, to whom he gave one of the greatest gifts: Reason. These creatures began to interact, build, and even learn to use magic; thus Dekhai became a planet populated by many civilizations ruled by the laws of magic and Life and Death. To populate Dekhai, Death also designed some very interesting little beings called humans: they too had Reason, which allowed them to think, make decisions, and feel emotions, but they had no other special characteristics. Despite this, Death and Life became very fond of them and decided to create a planet just for them, underestimating the resources they were making available to them. Thus, Earth was born.

In the beginning, Life and Death lived among humans in a palace to make sure everything was going well and to spend time with their beloved creations, each continuing to perform their own task: Life created souls and gave them bodies, while Death, when the time came, took them back. However, over time, human beings began to fear Death and Life, and this led to contempt. The negative feelings of human beings grew until they took shape, becoming the Seven Beasts: Hatred, Pride, Greed, Envy, Indifference, Anger, and Arrogance. These, fueled by negative emotions, attempted to destroy Life and Death, and so war broke out. After 1302 years of fighting, Death and Life won, temporarily trapping the Seven Beasts in the palace where they lived.

Life and Death realized that they could no longer live among humans, so they created Paradise, where Life would live, while Death preferred to return to Dekhai. While Life continued to do its work, Death could not accept the betrayal it had suffered at the hands of humans: it had spent millennia creating them, it had loved them, and without it they would not have existed. She had convinced Life to create them together, and after years of work and trials, was this how they treated their creators? Death could not believe it; she could not understand the evil of which humans were capable and how stupid and ungrateful they could be. So Death, devastated by anger and disappointment, created the fourth and final realm: Hell. He populated it with creatures opposed to humans, devoid of reason and guided by instinct. He connected Hell to Earth through the first portal, allowing demons to reach Earth. Death's work, however, was rushed, and the portal did not work as intended: the portal only allowed lesser demons to pass through, leaving the more powerful demons trapped in Hell.

After arranging the other three realms and connecting them to each other through portals, Death and Life decided to transfer the Seven Beasts to Middle Earth to ensure that they could not escape. Middle Earth was not connected to any other realm through portals. Life and Death, unable to live any longer in contact with humans, decided to create assistants to help them in their work. Life created angels, whom it made live in Heaven; through the ether, they create souls to which they give a body, which they then send to Earth. Death decided as a first step to populate Dekhai with creatures that were neither human, demonic, nor angelic. As its assistants, it chose the Reapers, who take possession of souls once their time on Earth or in other realms is over.

Centuries and millennia have passed since the World took its final form, and now, among humans, Life, Death, and the Beasts, like the creatures of Dekhai, are little more than legends. But someone, somewhere, is plotting something that could overturn the fate of the World. And who better than our heroes to stop them?

I have some news. For all this time I wasn't dead.

So, I may or may not have MAD, but recently I decided to start writing the things that I imagine. In fact I have a cool ass notebook in which I'm writing allat. For now I'm just writing down the basics of my world, but I may decide to actually write the story. In that case I'll write it here and ofc I'll also post the things I wrote in my notebook. Headcanons for my scene queen, cutie patootie, stunning, beloved Nina the Killer <33

First of all I'm pretty sure it's clear that for me she has the 2000s trashy scenecore aesthetic. You can't convince me otherwise.

She is really into fashion and she customizes a lot of her clothes.

She always has a lot of accessories and such cuz she wants to be "as fashion as possible".

She's totally into scene music, Odetari, Ayesha Erotica and MSI. In her old room she had a big stereo covered in paiettes and a whole collection of CDs. She also had posters of her favorite singers and bands.

When she was still in school she was learning to play electric guitar. It was a black Harley Benton ST, and she customized it by putting lots of shiny stickers on it. She has no idea of where it is now.

She's bi and a romantic girl. Like she had a secret diary where she wrote poetry and thoughts about people she had a crush on (that usually were like 4/5 at a time). Obliviously a lot of the diary's pages were dedicated to Jeff.

I think when she was in school her best friend was also her only friend. Said girl proceeded to leave her and our poor girl was destroyed. Besides her Nina didn't have any friends, but she totally wanted to be part of the popular kids group at some point.

She likes reading (books and comics), playing guitar, playing videogames and listening to music. Her favorite comic is Lenore, by Roman Dirge, and she likes horror and romance books.

She likes spending time with childrens. When she lived with her parents she adored her brother, they would play games all day. If someone at her brother school bullied him he would immediately tell Nina and she wouldn't let it slide. One time it happened and the two kids who messed with Chris went to the hospital. After that no one messed with him. She still feels guilty about what she did to Chris.

Since Nina likes to spend time with kids I can see her spending a lot of time with Sally when she isn't busy with the work. Sally is happy to have her as a play buddy and they both yap about their interest and listening to each other.

Nina is an extrovert.

Due to her trauma Sally covers as much of her skin as possible. Like she has long pants under her dress, a turtleneck shirt, high boots and long gloves.

Toby got Sally's clothes from previous victims.

Toby and Sally have a bit of a siblings relationship. Like he takes care of her, sometimes brings her plushies and helps her calm down when she has flashbacks or nightmares about her and her uncle.

Nina likes sewing and customizes a lot of her clothes. It also helps her calm sometimes.

I think Ben is in a ghost/non-phisic form, but he can switch if he wants to. He also doesn't spend a lot of time in the Mansion, he prefers staying inside the computer and chatting with people on cleverbot.

If Ben knew about Roblox he would immediately download it and proceed to bully kids (I'm sorry).
