I find it funny that a bunch of people where theorizing why they’re called the thunderbolts, I saw a bunch of things including Ross. But in reality it’s named after Yelenas soccer team when she was little

My only complaint about Thunderbolts* is that Bucky should have had more screen time

JUST WATCHED THUNDERBOLTS AND IT WILL BE THE ONLY THING I TALK ABOUT
a dysfunctional found family with dark pasts and no brain cells who saved the day with the power of friendship can be so personal

In Mockingjay, Katniss’s squad was called squad 451. Like the book Fahrenheit 451°.
Plutarch Heaveansbee, the man who had a huge ass library, and libraries were considered RARE, named them after a book about censorship.
Plutarch is such an interesting character, the fact that he was trying to stop the games for at LEAST 25 years. And he was so devoted it makes you wonder why he even cared.

I want Thunderbolts* to emotionally destroy me
I want to cry my eyes out in the theatre
But do it without killing anyone please

I just read a Percy Jackson/MCU crossover fic and it was actually so good.
PETER AS A CHILD OF ATHENA
Anyways, if you’re in either fandom I highly recommend it, it’s only about 14k words and it’s so fun.

Re-watching tfatws and I noticed that John Walker as Captain America almost always has a gun out as well as the shield when doing stealth based action, whereas Steve Rogers as Cap never used a gun accept for a 5 minute action scene on the helicarrier in the first avengers movie.
I think it’s a great way to show the difference between Steve and John and Captain America. John is overly reliant on his gun, and uses it primarily before he uses the shield. While Steve always went to use the shield first, which I think symbolizes something to do with his natural instinct to defend. Which contrasts with Johns instinct to use physical offensive attacks instead.
