in an alternative universe, sirius black asks law student!marlene to defend him in court after the attack at the potters. not much changes from canon in the end, but it was the funniest trial ever held 🔝

i know that lily has a bigger part in like the sixth book but i feel like she should also have a part in the third, thats the one focused most on his parents childhood and yet they only ever talk abt james

like dumbledore literally says something about how the dead never truly leave us but he only says 'your father is alive in you, harry' as if the eyes arent the windows into the soul as if he doesnt have his mothers eyes
