2PM Hogwarts Houses

Jun.K – Gryffindor – Minjun makes bold statements with his music as he tries to leave his mark in the industry. He prefers to cut a path rather than follow others. Though a gentleman to all, he’s especially courteous toward women. While normally pretty genial his demeanor can turn sour if he feels slighted or disrespected, though it doesn’t take much to smooth his ruffled feathers.    

Nichkhun – Gryffindor – He’s athletic, outgoing, and usually up for any challenge. In fact he loves them. While Taec is the shield of the group, Khun is the sword. Often he will be the first to step out and test the waters of a situation. He is always very polite and considerate of those around him, though he does have a temper and can be impetuous at times.

Taecyeon – Slytherin – Certainly intelligent enough for Ravenclaw, it’s his savvy nature that lands him in Slytherin. Taec is eternally mindful of how situations impact himself or the group, for better or worse. He’ll take the necessary time to weigh the possible outcomes before acting. Though he wouldn’t resort to underhanded measures, he knows it takes more than luck and a strong heart to get ahead.

Wooyoung – Hufflepuff – Though smart and wily, he’s not as inherently competitive as a Slytherin or Gryffindor. He seems content with the level of success they’ve achieved and simply wants to enjoy it as a group. Wooyoung’s deep loyalty speaks of the familial bonds he’s created in his heart. He often takes into consideration the other members’ preferences whenever possible and tries to keep the peace.   

Junho – Slytherin – While most people in the entertainment industry are ambitious, Junho is especially so. He has a strong drive to be successful not only as 2PM but to be noticed for his individual talents as well. One only has to watch him on variety shows to see how cunning he can be when put into competition with others. He thinks outside the box and is not above playful sabotage to come out on top.

Chansung – Ravenclaw – While Taec uses his brains as a means to propel his life forward, Chansung is geared more toward intellectual pursuits for the sake of understanding the world around him and becoming a better man. And while those thoughts continually swirl in his head he’s learned not to articulate them because people don’t always understand his curious leaps in logic, which he finds frustrating.

Just wanted to stop and share this morning’s funny story~ I check your blog every morning almost as soon as I wake up and I noticed the model numbers and tried (and failed) to suppress a squeal as I made sure it was true to every model and long story short apparently my family thought there was a spider in the house and I was greeted by my mom with a shoe, ready to kill this bug so thank you for the morning events. 😂 In all seriousness I LOVED it and I love your writings so much! ~Tennis Anon í ¼

B.A.P  Collectible Figures

Congratulations! You are now the proud owner a B.A.P figure! Please refer to this handy instruction manual for care. And don’t forget to save up purchase points to get a matching Matoki mascot accessory for your B.A.P figure!

Yongguk – Model # 3311990

Accessories included: ramen, tigger toy

One of the more low maintenance figures, your new Yongguk will keep to himself most of the time. This is his normal. However if he seems especially morose your unit has slipped into brooding mode and can only be returned to original factory settings when paired or grouped with the other figures in the line. When sad or nervous use the included tigger, take him to a museum, or engage in a discussion on world events to distract him. If your Yongguk disappears for a short time don’t worry, he is probably acquiring another tattoo or doing volunteer work. This model has a hidden ‘mentor’ feature that unlocks when paired with the Zelo unit.

Himchan – Model # 4191990  New Limited Edition with Pink Hair!

Accessories included: coffee, grilled meat

Your Himchan unit may be boisterous on occasion, but usually only when paired with the later models of the line. His self-esteem switch is touchy and can flip from confident to insecure quite easily. Tape may be required. To ensure this model keeps his pink hair as long as possible you must only wash with cold water. Your Himchan unit will be cranky about this but he’ll forgive you if you tell him he’s handsome. This unit has some boundary issues so it won’t be uncommon to see him with accessories from the other figures or even resting with them in the dormitory (sold separately).

Daehyun – Model # 6281993

Accessories included: iPod, food

This model will work independently but for optimal functionality it is best to have already purchased at least the Youngjae unit. Your new Daehyun should be extremely happy and vibrant. If he at any time seems low on power or ‘depressed’ place him with another member of the B.A.P line immediately. His design specs are unique in that his batteries can only be recharged by being in close proximity to the other figures. If he occasionally becomes difficult to understand this is not a malfunction. He has merely slipped into Satoori mode. The translation guide (included) will help you until he resets to default factory setting.

Youngjae – Model # 1241994

Accessories included: camera, video games

Upon first activating your Youngjae unit he will be polite and quiet. It may take about a week to fully power up to his standard volume and snark factory settings. While he is the loudest model of the line he is also the most sensitive and will not stand up to rough handling. Some Youngjae units come equipped with flailing-arm-action when amused and care should be used when interacting with the other models. This figure is also sold in a collector’s set with the Daehyun model. While similar to the stand alone units, they are a limited edition pair complete with magnets in their hips and water guns.

Jongup – Model # 261995

Accessories included: Nesquik, manga

The Jongup figure is not for the amateur collector. He is laid back but prone to occasional athletic outbursts including, but not limited to, flips and spins. Most often this will occur when paired with the Zelo model. Caution should be used in handling your new figure in this state. The unit also comes pre-programmed with two options: loyal and betrayer. His factory default is usually set to loyal but you may want to check before you let him interact with the other units. WARNING: If you have already purchased a Himchan unit supervision may be necessary to protect your Jongup from being manhandled.

Zelo – Model # 10151996

Accessories included: Mochi, socks

You’ll notice that your Zelo figure comes with an action grip. This is for him to carry Mochi and the accessory should fit easily into his hand. He also may come equipped with a removable nose piercing (optional). An array of reactions will occur by placing your Zelo figure with others from the line, but the default settings best configure with the Yongguk and Jongup units respectively. For a limited time you may also purchase a variant baby-faced debut version of the Zelo model with face mask and skateboard accessories (does not include Mochi).​

Wow, I can relate to that fever-post you did with Monsta X. I once had a fever that didn’t seem too out of the ordinary at first, but at night it just spiked out of nowhere and I had this weird and horrifying mix of a fever dream and sleep paralysis; I just remember seeing hands all over my room and they were dragging me down into my bed, and once I snapped out of it, I couldn’t look at my own for like a week TT_TT fever can knock you out bad ~Sam anon 

Yes it can! Wow your experience sounds terrifying. I’ve been delirious from fever once (thankfully not recently) and it wasn’t pretty. *shivers* I’m glad you made it through ok, Sam anon. *hugs*

MONSTA X Your Fever

When you have a fever so high you hallucinate.

Shownu – He’d been worried when you we feverish but once you started talking about things that weren’t there he would take you to a doctor. Immediately. If you wouldn’t come willingly he’d pick you up bridal style, over his shoulder or put you on his back, whatever it took. Though Shownu isn’t usually forceful with you at all, he’d want to get you to some help because you were beyond thinking clearly for yourself. He’d realize you were at a point that he could no longer care for you and get you to someone who could help you get better. He wouldn’t panic and just focus on getting you help.

Wonho – He would have been doting on you anyway while you were ill and then if you started hallucinating he’d freak out. He’d be repeating to you over and over that things were ok, but he’d also be trying to calm himself down. He’d try to get you to drink some water and as he did his hand would keep going to your forehead, his gut clenching at how warm you felt. In desperation an idea would come to his mind and he’d haul you to your feet leading you to the bathroom. Too impatient to wait for the tub to fill he’d turn the shower on cold and stand with you under the spray, holding you up and shivering but not wanting to leave you.

Minhyuk – This would catch him off guard and he’d stare at you, not believing what he was seeing. Scared out of his wits he’d call his mom because he’d feel she’d know what to do. His hands would shake as he listened to her and her voice would calm him a little. Then he’d follow her advice and get you gathered up to go to the hospital. Nervous and trying to check your level of coherency he’d talk to you the whole way, even responding to your nonsense. If you saw pink and blue bunnies hopping around he’d agree but anxiously keep checking how much longer it’d take to reach the hospital.

Kihyun – Most likely he would have pestered you to get treatment before this happened, but sometimes fevers can spike quickly. In that case he’d worry it would take too long to get you to the hospital, so he’d do something himself to try and fix the problem. He’d run a cold bath and pour as much ice as he could into it. Then he’d make you get in, slightly terse with you and your ravings but only because he’s scared to death and masking it with cold efficiency. Once your fever lowered a few degrees and he felt safe enough to take you to the hospital he would breathe a sigh of relief and get you on your way.

Hyungwon – His eyes would widen at your nonsensical words and quiet panic would kick in. He’d do things like pull back your blankets to cool you off but then pull them back on. Try to get you to drink but hesitate if you were to upset. Basically he’d be a mess of indecisiveness. The only thing he’d be certain of would be cooling you down so he’d grab something cold. Even if there were no cold packs in the freezer he’d use a bag of frozen peas on your forehead, holding them there if you were fussing. He’d be torn about taking you to the hospital. If you were too agitated he wouldn’t know how to get you there by himself and may call for help.  

Jooheon – At a loss for what to do he’d try to soothe you with calming words, pressing you gently down onto the bed. He’d get some cold compresses and place them on your forehead and neck. He’d try to talk you out of what you were seeing, reassuring you things were fine. Jooheon would feel his heart pounding in his chest but try to not panic for your sake. He’d give it some time to see if you came out of it on your own, the whole time wondering if he’d have to take you to the hospital or if the fever would break on its own. He’d hold your hand the whole time more as a comfort to himself and almost as if he was keeping you grounded in reality.

I.M – Changkyun can be mature for his age at times but this would be one of those instances where he felt his inexperience keenly. When you started reacting to things that weren’t there he’d be stoically terrified. Not wanting to do anything inadvertently to harm you he’d make a quick search online to see what he should do. He’d have you take some ibuprofen and grab some cold packs from the freezer, putting them on your pulse points as he took you to the hospital. He’d pretty much ignore you, knowing you weren’t making sense anyway and too caught up in remembering all the worst case scenarios he saw online.  ​

VIXX Teapots Explained

My dear friend @moonofmirrors wanted to see my reasoning behind the selections for my VIXX as teapots post. It really just gives me an excuse to prattle on about the boys I love.

Hakyeon has this elegance, this poise, an inner and outer beauty that I thought the clear glass with the flowering tea represented well. I don’t know why but I just get this traditional vibe from him, though he’s not ill fit in today’s world. More like an old soul.

For Leo I wanted to include his ofttimes prickly temperament but everything in that vein was too harsh, there were no soft edges to temper things. So I went with cats because he has a very catlike personality and the streamline design represents his relatively simple desires in life. Being a good singer and later a good father and husband.  

Ken originally had a sleek futuristic abstract design as I think he’s a modern, artistic person with an intelligence people often overlook. But I was worried people wouldn’t get it so I picked one that represented his quirky personality which I think leans a little toward the dark side, though he never shows it.  

Ravi…is all heart. The chains represent not only his possible preferences in the bedroom, but how he often holds his heart back with those he doesn’t know. He comes across very aloof and no one would guess underneath how much love he has to give to those he opens up to.

Hongbin’s is obviously a nod toward his beauty but also a reference to the old joke the members had about him being ‘artwork’ as it borrows from Van Gogh’s work. The vibrant colors represent his bright personality and the budding flowers reflect growth as he gains more confidence in himself. And like Bean it’s stylish in a classic way.

The smirk on the rabbit’s face says it all. That’s our Hyogie right there. A fluffball trickster who delights in playfully teasing others. He’s lighthearted and confident in who he is. What better way to show that than a bold bunny daring you to play his games?

The way you write dialogue is just so *cries* beautiful! It's always so elegant and wonderful with the right amount of humor. Dialogue can be difficult to write for some, but you excel at it! BTS Rap Monster 'Mirror, Mirror' (M)

WARNING: Smut and language (it’s Joonie after all) but since I wrote it there’s still tons of fluff.

It’s just something you’ve done over the years so you don’t even think about it anymore. It never really even crossed your mind until one day you were sharing the bathroom with Namjoon, brushing your teeth before bed. He kept staring and you didn’t know why. Finally you spit into the sink and turn to him, slightly exasperated, “What?”

“You’re not looking at yourself.”

Used to nonsensical things coming out of his mouth, you’d gotten pretty good at deciphering them but tonight you were at a loss. “Again with the ‘what’?”

He reached past you and lightly tapped the mirror. “You don’t look at yourself. I’ve noticed it before but I thought it was a fluke. But you don’t, you look everywhere but.” He crouched down a little to to be eye level with you. “Why?”

RUNNING MAN Monday Couple ‘Are We Starting Again?’

This is kind of an experiment to shake off the writing rust. As I rewatch the episodes I’ve been thinking about the evolution of their relationship over the years. It’s a poor attempt at capturing their complexity but again, it’s practice. 

Not sure how many Running Man fans are here, but hopefully you’ll like it. ^^

There were things she didn’t notice about him in the beginning, but to be fair, there were things he didn’t notice about her in the end.

His shy glances followed overtures that led to awkward conversations. Instances where he sometimes wished the ground would open up and swallow him whole. But he pressed on because he’d learned long ago persistence was the only way he’d get something in life. When he made her laugh his heart stuttered in his chest. He’d done that. He made her face light up and a fierce pride ignited within. In his clumsy way he sincerely offered his heart, though at the time, she didn’t recognize it for the gift it was.

Her own heart was shut away, aloof but only because she wasn’t one to reach out. Didn’t really know how. She smiled for the cameras, her thoughts on looking pretty because that’s all that had ever been expected of her. His attempts to gain her attention warmed something inside her but the idea of fiction becoming reality was never something that crossed her mind. It was a role. They were too different for it to be otherwise.

Over time he understood his efforts were fruitless and edged away. He continued to flirt and play the game but that moment of hesitation, of waiting for her reaction was gone. He no longer watched her as close.

Things changed in her life. Being on the show challenged her not just physically but opened her heart to others in a way it never had before. She learned she was more than a pretty face. It factored into the end of a relationship that never felt more than hollow to her in the first place.

Emerging from the remains she turned her face to the man that had warmed her like the sun. And she saw him for the first time. Really saw him. He was patient and loyal, passionate about the things that held his interest. But his passion for her had cooled, tempered by her time with another. He may have opened his heart to her easily at first but he was no fool.

His interaction with her became habitual, lacking emotion. It left her to be the one extending herself trying to fit against his side once more. Years ago it hadn’t been her way to approach others but she was no longer that person. She didn’t blame him for not realizing right away. It was difficult to see change when you were too close. And she was happy just being with him, even if only on Mondays. She would wait for him to notice her once more.

It took a little while. More than she’d hoped actually which stung her pride but figured it was her due. He saw her efforts though, and the smile that wasn’t caused by him but rather for him. When he began to reciprocate things were different. What once was a current that flowed only one way for him or her became something that ebbed and flowed between them.

Now when they looked at one another there was a bond. A strength that the other’s presence afforded just by being there. She knew him and he knew her and only the two of them knew the truth of what they meant to each other. Somehow over the years they’d grown together instead of apart. There were marriages that could claim less.

Their paths had not only crossed but wound together and often they wondered to themselves where it would lead. Often they were teased about getting married. They’d smile and play it off but in the back of their minds they’d think maybe. Just maybe. ​
