Today is my bday 🎂👑💐and as I sit here to reflect on the many years I’ve been around the sun 🌞 and back again. First, 👁 am blessed and thankful to be here! 😌🙌🏾 I ask myself what are the top 10 things I would I tell this young lady in the middle. Yes, 25 year old me who thought she had life all figured out in the moment. 1. Continue to allow God to use you. 2. Never settle for anything less that GREATNESS. 3. It’s ok to love others but never lose your dignity. 4. Know your worth. 5. Resilience is how you will turn your pain into purpose. 6. Never self sabotage or be afraid of the powers and gifts God has blessed you with. 7. Remain humble but don’t allow any passive aggressive bs from anyone. 8. Keep your faith strong. 9. Just when you think you’ve surrendered enough fall back surrender some more. (Romans 12:2) 10. Always be kind and compassionate to yourself and know that God is able to do all things and so are you through Christ Jesus who strengthens you. These are affirmations that I’m teaching my daughter to say daily. 👁 am not just leading by example but taking heed to my own words Amen! This not only helps her speak positively over her life but it helps me to continue to walk toward the purpose God has for my life as well. 👁 Hope this helps someone else if you have ever dealt with self doubt because of past traumas or just need a little bit more motivation on this #Monday.

Resilience is vital. Through every situation in life I’ve learned that this is true but the word alone is all some see. For me it’s what’s behind the word and it’s meaning. See without planning you can go forward but how far? Without being emotionally flexible are you really free in each present moment to feel, adjust, or change that emotion when needed?
