it has come to my attention that the letters in some of my previous posts might suggest I am not happy living in Tauberville. I am a proud citizen of the Town, and I have no qualms with it. Ignore these sneakily hidden letters, they were mistakes. Thank you!

They are the coordinates for Howe Caverns in NY. Honestly, I'm wondering if this is some elaborate birthday party plan from my friends. But just in case, I decided to schedule this post in case I go missing hahaha. I still decided against posting the QR code that was with the coordinates in case it has a virus.

This feels dramatic, but you can't be too safe. Happy Late Birthday to me, I guess! Haha.

Final Tauberville Postcards Update.

I got this postcard in the mail today. I won't post the back since it has coordinates and a QR code (I didn't scan because I didn't want to get a virus, and I don't want you guys to get one either).

Tomorrow I'm going to go to the coordinates. I'm also going to schedule a post that will have the coordinates on it for the 17th, just in case. Wish me luck though! I'm not sure how much longer I want to follow these postcards, and my friends reactions to them are making me feel nervous about the whole thing. So this is my final update. If I keep getting postcards, I'll probably throw them away hahaha.

So, I started asking for people to send me postcards since I missed doing that during the pandemic. And I feel I just have to share this strangeness somehow, hahaha.

I mean, someone had to hand-deliver this since it wasn't in an envelope, and the card was just the two sides pictured here. The "Greetings from Tauberville" is printed upside-down. I think one of my friends is pranking me, but they all deny it. I'll have to find a way to prank them back (/wholesome).

Also, Tauberville doesn't exist. Unless this is a misprint for a card from Turbeville, South Carolina. Maybe one of my friends found it and saved it for something like this. I definitely would, lol! Anyway, silly little postcards from a silly little nonexistent town 😊

LOUDER FOR THE LORDES IN THE BACK!!

The older generation's fixation on forcing you to have kids is something they absolutely refuse to unlearn. You can give the calmest and most reasonable explanation for not having kids and the only thing they can think to say is, "But what of the heir to the lands?" "Who will inherit the throne?" "Please sire upon your barren death there will be a parochial schism that will soak our soils with brother-blood." They literally hate to see you happy with just a cat.

Please give an update on whether or not you have used the USB. If you haven't inserted the drive into your computer yet:

I would NOT put that USB in your computer. There are a million things that could go wrong. If you absolutely must view the contents of the USB-

DO NOT USE A COMPUTER THAT IS CONNECTED TO THE INTERNET. SCAN THE USB FOR MALWARE. PRAY.

Be careful, it could be a USB killer or something even worse. Stay safe.

Ooops, a bit late for that one. 😓 But I already took my computer in to get scanned. They didn't find anything. I also had them scan the contents of the flash drive because the files were all ~encrypted~.

Thanks for the advice! In the future, I'll avoid putting strange flash drives into my computer hahaha. I should probably leave computer stuff to people a little more technologically advanced than me.

An update to the Tauberville postcards.

This time it has my address, but no postage stamp.

I went to the coordinates on the postcard, since it wasn't too far of a drive. I found the safe, it was nestled pretty deeply in some sketchy debris. The code was just my birthday.

I didn't want to include the coordinates, since I didn't want anyone else putting themselves in danger. The place was pretty odd. I took some pictures though; in case I went missing hahah.

I haven't inserted the flash drive yet. I might tomorrow, once my family leaves town.

In the meantime, I'll keep everyone... posted. <3
