Do it whilst i am asleep

I do not want to bare witness to your depature

Allow me to dream a happy dream

Where you are still with me

Where we do not bare bullet holes in the space of our hearts

Who says you were the first man i loved

My tears can be flowing because i miss the ocean and wanted to feel her

Maybe because i am alone

Ive had over a thousand stab wounds to my back

What makes you think yours will make a difference

You can choose other women in different cities

But maybe one day youll miss me

Wipe away the tears of loneliness

Because ive got no room left

Its all been occupied and damaged

Left to rot like the rest of what i used to call me

Everything i do maybe i should stop doing it for you

I lost my mind in you

I lost myself in you

He does not love me like i love him

He holds me in a cage pulling the invisible strings

I fell for his honey eyes

He captured all the flowers

His voice is still my favourite sound

He doesnt care that i love him more than the ocean

Im afraid

Should i stay because your love isnt fair

Im scared

If i stay youll hurt me more every day

He is definitely the one because ive always got him on my mind.

He is beautiful and pure i know i belong to him for sure.

He has this soul that sings i know i would fight for him even if he were to sin.

They can lie tell me he isnt right but what do they know about love they can all wither and die.

He may not know how to play the guitar but he knows how to strum away my fears alongside any tears.

He has brought me to life when i thought i was done with this stife.

He has the fire and he can walk on ice

He has the power but still treats me as if im fragile like a flower

I may not know of many things, however this i know for certain i love him more than any other

I know the tears flow from me like a river destroying everything within its current

I try to hide within the shadows between the cracks in our foundation

I scream in between the chorus of our favourite song to muffle my doubts

But its only a fraction of what i feel

I know my soul seeks your finger tips to stroke it better

My eyes always seek the headlights of your car you are my northern star in the night sky

I wait for you every second we are apart every strand of my hair wanting to get tangled up between the sheets with you

I take photographs in my mind when you look at me , through me

You are my lighthouse guiding me home, my swansong and my fiery beacon

My demise

I looked for you In the white foams Created by the blue waves In a perpetual darkness Left to its own demise Where you and I don’t matter Yet our touch can create A ripple effect within a tentative structure Deep enough to engulf the flames Left after your departure

Your taste still lingers in my mouth Like the salt in the air It’s in my limbs I can’t take it off Wash it away in the waves It’s intertwined in my hair It emerged somewhere deep For me to keep A reminder of our bodies together

A damp breeze on my skin Stretching your fingertips It’s more than me More than the ocean More than my mind This incessant storm at sea Tugging me pulling me under I can no longer breathe I’m drowning in this love This beautiful destruction you left me in.

Pretty purple flowers were always my favourite. You already knew that babe. But you never picked me any.

City lights were always a good substitute to the stars i loved. But you never held me under them.

Drink pours down my throat to drown this over the moon conversations you liked. But the pain is real tonight. I want to leave but how can i when you hold my life map in your hands

Babe you never could tell the way my heart felt when i told you i loved you, you said okay but boys dont fall in love with sad girls
