I (29f) Didn’t Miss My Husband (30m)

My husband was gone for the weekend on a short trip. He left early Friday morning and got back early Sunday evening. It was just me and our kids at home. Last night, after I’d gotten them to bed and was soaking in a bath, I realized I hadn’t missed him at all. In the past, when he’d be gone with late hours at work or weekends at drill (he used to be an army reservist) I’d miss him so much, counting the seconds until he got home, and I’d be so excited when he walked through the door. This time, I felt nothing. I’m not sure how to feel about this. I know it was just a weekend, but that has never mattered before. We hardly talked this weekend, and I honestly don’t really care or even notice. Is this indicative of anything? Should I take a deeper look at our relationship? Any advice is appreciated.

Can i divorce my husband ?

Hi!

My husband wants a second wife because I can’t have children. We had two boys but they passed away because of the illness that got from my side. I took care of the children myself until their last breath cos my husband couldn’t handle the situation mentally and emotionally. I took them to another country and arranged icu at home with lung ventilator and lots of other equipments. After the children passed away ( at age 2 and 1 respectively)we tried ivf but still were not successful. In the future we can only have a daughter but he says it’s not enough for him. Now he tells me that he wants a second wife because he wants children. He deeply loves me and I love him too. After he said that I was crushed and my heart shattered. And I feel betrayed after all the sacrifices I’ve made for him. I can’t accuse him of being insupportable only that he hurts me emotionally all the time and yell at me for no reason ( just because angry at someone else and I was around to put the anger on me)

My question: can I divorce him? Because I know I will be in pain every day and suffer every day when he gets a second wife. He told me I’m welcome to stay and he will continue taking care of me and loving me when having another wife but if I can’t bear it I’m also welcomed to divorce him.

Please advise.
