Don't talk to me about how it's the ultimate way to portray the survival of Kunikida's ideals.
Don't talk to me about how even if the agency wins then there is no true way for Kunikida's ideals to survive because even with Aya and Atsushi trying their best to follow Kunikida's beliefs, they stand tangentially opposed to large portions of his attitude and will never be able to live up to them.
Kunikida's ideals will slowly die, and that means that there will be no part of him left.
I love getting into fandoms that are around 10 years old and carefully picking apart the media with a generations worth of content promised to me. It's like I'm an archivist or an archeologist, discovering pieces of people and a culture whom I'll never get a chance to see while alive, but still able to read and learn about it and the medium they enjoyed.
Take this single line. I promise the wait will be worth it (hopefully -)
I've been re-listening to the Magnus Archives to get the character's voices correct and trying to balance summer classes, but I am working on it!!
I wish I could write fics so I could write a vague jontim au where Tim regularly quips back to Jon in mandarin because he gets a rise over the fact that Jon doesn't understand it, and he peppers in various terms of endearment (often sarcastic, but sometimes he says it just because he wants to. It feels right. Minor indulgences) it's season 3 and he's still mad at Jon, and he's still so very angry at everything, and he still wants to die, but the habit carries. And he insults Jon to his face, curses him, throws barbed words his eau. But he also says that he misses him. I love you. I miss you. except at some point in season 3 Jon is able to understand languages. And Tim doesn't realize this, and Jon doesn't realize this, and he's just Thoroughly confused why Tim keeps switching up his attitude towards him
