I know I haven’t posted in a hot minute, but I wanted to update regarding the fanfics which I currently have on AO3.

I am not deleting anything, but it may look like I have because I changed all of my works to be able to be viewed by registered users only. I really didn’t want to do this at first because I love the idea of a public archive, but with the rise of AI and my strict opposition to it (because its basically just stealing stuff from writers and artists) I decided to make the switch so it is harder for my works to be used by any AI scouring the internet. I never want any of my works entered into or used by any AI, and this was one of the ways I could prevent that from happening. I think it goes without saying after all of that, but please do not put any of my works into any AI.

That being said, it is fairly easy to set up an account (I wasn’t invited by anyone when I set up mine, and it only took 24 hours for me to get invited by the website) if you haven’t already!

Also I’m sorry I haven’t been writing or posting anything lately, college got crazy so I didn’t have a lot of time and ideas weren’t coming to me as much as they were before. Even though I am now graduated (wild, I know) I can’t promise I will update any more frequently. But that doesn’t mean I want to remove the works I have there now. As a frequent re-reader of fics myself I never plan on removing them, even if the access is more limited now.

As for some general thank yous because I’m already here so why not, I want to thank anyone who has ever interacted with my fics, especially people who commented or messaged me. There were times when those really helped motivate me to keep writing and I will forever be grateful to you!

Bucky never liked SHIELD, but he didn't think he'd ever been on the run from them. However, clearly his past self didn't account for finding Steve Rogers being strapped to a bed against his will. Something like that seems to turn your whole life around.

“Holy shit, we actually won!” Bucky exclaimed, turning around to face Steve. Steve didn’t even look up from what he was working on at his desk in the corner of the living room.

“Won what?” He asked calmly after a few moments, still sketching on his tablet.

“The cruise giveaway Stark was advertising last week,” Bucky answered, looking over the details in the email.

What happens when two best friends who have been pining for each other for a decade are alone on a cruise for a week in the honeymoon suite pretending to be a couple? A whole lot of pining and maybe even a very overdo conversation, that's what!

“This is insane. How have they acted like this around each other for years and not noticed?” Sam asked, gesturing between the two. Natasha could only hum in agreement, looking at the pair. They were currently standing off in a corner, arms around one another swaying to the music.

In which it is painfully obvious that Steve and Bucky like each other, so Natasha and Sam plot to get them together, not knowing they have actually been dating since high school. Bucky finds this all very amusing, Steve blushes a lot.

Me and Bucky have been waiting out here for like fifteen minutes,” Steve asked, “I mean if we are being stood up, that’s fine, it would just be good to know,” There was silence at the other end of the line for a few moments before Sam replied.

“I’m gonna need you to think about what you just said for a few seconds.” Steve did, looking over at Bucky once more. Then he realized.

“Oh.”

This is the other one shot I wrote for valentine’s day, but it is really only mentioned once very very briefly in the fic, so it is really just a first date fic

Okay, I haven’t posted in a while on Tumblr, but I have written two one shots since then and finished my long fic. So I’m gonna post them here too!

This one is based off this prompt:

So A is shopping for an engagement ring for B with B’s friend and calls B to ask what time they’ll be home. B says they’re with the friend that A is with so A freaks out and assumes the worst. Turns out B was getting A a birthday present.

Where A is Bucky, B is Steve and B's friend is Sam and it all works out in the end.

This leads to mistaken identity as to who the mysterious 'Bucky' could be, and confusion as to why Steve is resisting seeing Natasha and Sam's favorite singer, James Barnes, in concert. What happens when they finally get him to agree to go?

Steve should be happy, he really should. He knew this was supposed to be a new start for him. He had gotten into his dream school, and incidentally one of the best graphic design programs in the country. NYU on paper was everything he could ever hope for. His roommate Sam seemed amazing from the few times he had texted him, and everyone he had met there so far he had gotten along well with. But Bucky had just broken up with him, and now he didn't know how he could feel happy when he hadn't wanted a new start to begin with.

Also known as: Steve and Bucky college au with lots of pining, stupidity, and a happy ending. Also their friends are all much smarter than them, but they get there eventually.
