Persuaded by a dear friend to brighten complete stranger’s days early this morning, by offering kind smiles and greeting a of love. What an interesting social experiment, to say the least. Her intent was to share love and good will without looking for anything in return. Much the same way people offer ‘Free Hugs’ around major US cities. I learned a lot about myself this morning. I don’t typically put myself “out there” in daily life... and for all of the “good mornings” and “happy mondays” and “have a great day” comments I offered, I received maybe 1 in 30. I felt invisible. ‘ I felt less than. ‘ I felt angry. ‘ I felt rejected. ‘ I felt saddened. ‘ Saddened that soo many of us check out. That we don’t have time for a simple salutation of good will. Saddened that we can’t take less than 5 seconds to look up from the Monday grind. Or that we cannot see our fellow humans. I understand the despair that the homeless feel, on a deeper level today. I see the challenge of people making a sales pitch on the streets to survive life. I realized more how gifted and blessed I am to live the life I live. A few people asked if we were part of religious group. Others looked right thru me as if I didn’t exist. Some looked at me as I wore a big welcoming smile and didn’t change their expression or pace of life. Some chose to ignore me completely. The rare ones would smile, and even more rare would greet me in reply. A few would wave as I waved to them, a few would smile back.... And then one sweet woman offered to buy us coffee and donuts (from a donut shop 50 ft from where we stood on this rainy gloomy Monday). She loved what we were doing, and she wanted to pay our efforts forward by offering gratitude in a way she knew how. It was super sweet of her but I declined her offer. We had 2 that wanted to take a selfie with us, and one shot a video and told us we need more love in the world and remarked to keep up the good work. It was an eye opening experiment. One I didn’t think would play out as it did, but I’m grateful for what I learned. I’ll be more present as I walk thru the city and come across my fellow humans. (at Belmont station)

It's been a busy week for me and I wouldn't change it. Family and friends in town visiting, filling my week with laughter and love. Add to the excitement of those visits, I've subbed a bunch of classes which has really kept me hopping. (pun? 🐰 with Easter tomorrow 😁) . . . Still finding my rhythm back at home. Adjusting to the cold again and the shorter daylight hours. 🕑 altho.... we spring forward tonight. 🕐 time to stretch time 🤔 The stupidity of Daylight Saving Time is an unnecessary event.... imho we are forced into it, and for a week people often struggle to adjust. I'm one of the weird ones that doesn't mind moving forward. Humbling to spend my day in such vast beauty. We took a road trip up the Mexican mountains with our dear friend Ari to see her property. The immensity of the mountain ranges brings into perspective just how small and seemingly insignificant we are in the grand scheme of things. Humility Humbleness Awareness Higher Consciousness to realize that our smallness is intrinsically connected to the greatness. Everything we do is linked to the other (and not just other humans). We are all part of the grand scheme. The evolutionary process. And once your small self steps out into such a grandiose space of existence... your true Self realizes there soo much work to do. And no work to do at the same time. While my small self was a nervous ball of energy trying my best to do my HBL/SCM practice in the back seat- 'I am not my body' etc.. and leaning away from the switchbacks on the one lane road, that teetered precariously close to the edge more times than I cared to count. I bounced around back there so much so that I lost my breakfast... or fertilized the plants- all perspective, right? But as I'm home now (still in Mexico) and able to settle my nerves, and calm my queasiness I can take in the day and realize just how amazing this big blue marble is. And how much I have to offer. And what I need to do. And how I need to show up in it. Perspective is a magical thing. And when you have the opportunity to get (physically) out of your comfort zone... I highly encourage it... then DO! If that can't happen, then get out of your comfort zone in your small corner of the globe. Your eyes open a little wider and you see more clearly when challenged with whatever makes your knees shake. #perspective #higherconsciousness #sierramadremountains #bluesky #trust #travelyogi #getoutandexplore #wanderlust #beautytruthgoodness

I saw this incredible circular rainbow around the sun yesterday afternoon. It gave me a moment of pause as I wanted to stare at it but couldn't as it made my eyes water. 👀 💦 Such a sight reminds me that I cannot be afraid to step into my personal power, to not be afraid of my successes, to not self sabotage because I am afraid to be a force of strength and softness, and of guidance and joy. It's easy to remain quiet and not stir the pot. Easy to sit in the background and toss tidbits of "help" into the circle but not truely own your voice. But I cannot remain still, I will not be quiet, there is work to do and I'm going to shine that light where, and how I can. Some thoughts regarding the powerful Authentic Self Kosmic Consciousness retreat (we hosted) last week. . . . Being separated by time and space from the beautiful souls that gave their all on a journey to higher consciousness, has left me feeling depleted. I miss the energy of the collective, the daily sessions that brought us deeper into knowing god consciousness, and of course the incredible gourmet food. The unity of hearts and minds, of souls uniting in voice, the divine bringing us closer together and showing us our own unique truths. Those truths we shouted from the mountain tops to the ocean and declared before one another that we would not stop before we brought those truths to life. We will not play small any longer nor live in our own personal dramas. The time has come for a small group of dedicated, enlightened individuals to shift humanity forward. We made a vow We will lead the charge We are connected We are one We are that I Am . . .
