The siblings watched from across the street as the group left the courthouse – the main event couple in a white short lace dress and blue almost navy suit with white shirt no tie – in the middle of smiling, happy disbelieving, yet happy faces. Their hands were raised in the air, and you could catch the glint of the silver bands on their fingers, trapping and refracting the rays out and around. The siblings looked at each other and smiled, sad but resigned that the two people they loved most – her the groom, him the bride – had found each other in the toughest of seas and swam to shore together, braving anything California (read: Neptune) threw at them. They knew somewhere deep inside this was always how it was going to end up anyways, they were always the closest two of the four, the better friends and turns out the better lovers. Anyone who looked at them and or knew their story, would say ‘and you thought they weren’t going to make it?!’ would need to be checked into a mental hospital stat in their opinion. The girl could tell from here that the kisses, the smiles, and most likely glint in his eyes where she knew tears would be falling but he was hiding them behind black, Ray-Ban aviators, would be the best look on him yet, and while she had some fraction at that one point and she naively through that away, she knew her ex-boyfriend would treat her beloved best friend like the Queen of Sheba if she let him. While the woman studied the man, the man studied the woman, willing to save the white dress image for his dreamscape where it was, he was holding hands with, kissing and going to a bright future towards with. He had never in their time together, seen her shine as much as she was doing today as their group chatted on the sidewalk, someone at each point in time moving cars so the street buffers could get through before enjoying the merriment again. Taking the hand of the woman, he gave it a tight squeeze and her a hard and tight side hug before they turned and walked away, their notes of pride, congratulations and fair wishes, placed on the windshields of Neptune’s now married Veronica Mars, sleuth extraordinaire and NAVY fly-boy, fighter pilot Logan Echolls.

It’s been 6 months since Clarke Eliaz Jane Griffin said goodbye Bellamy Robert Augustus Blake in front of the gates of Arkadia, and since then she will admit she’s missed him like crazy, and wonders if he might miss her too. Every day she wonders and doubts if she made the right decision to leave Arkadia – him – behind, which is why she probably finds herself often loitering around their old camp, the Dropship. And maybe, just maybe, that was why it was so simple, so easy for them, for him, to find her as they appeared from the forest as she continued picking up the old camp, trying to put some sense back into as if she knew everyone, the original 100, or what was left – 47, God! So little! – would break off and show back up where it all began to begin again. The look on their faces, his face, said it all as he pulled her into his arms as she mumbled her apologies with ugly cries into his neck, all the while knowing with his big heart he’d forgive her and wouldn’t hold it against her and she knew this when he pulled back and called her out on being silly for thinking she was alone down here when in truth she had him from day one and that she was and still is his dream. And for the first time in what seemed like a long time, she giggled as he kissed her and their friends, no, their family, cheered around them knowing everything would know sort itself out…

Beautiful Clarke Eliza Jane Griffin is in her last year of college at Eden U in Ark City, Massachusetts and while juggling an internship as an assistant art therapy teacher at the local elementary school, Eden Elm Youth School, she has barely had time to spend time with her boyfriend of two years, Bellamy Robert Augustus Blake, let alone make Valentine’s plans - or so he thinks so he makes her a nice dinner and plans a movie and cuddle session the night before not knowing that she plans to celebrate the holiday on the day by surprising him with a romantic surprise dessert date in the college’s closed library, his place of work and where they met, with a blanket pillows, LED candle, roses and more because sometimes being the Eden U’s Dean’s Daughter and dubbed Princess because well her family, on her dad’s side – the Griffin’s - did find the university had it’s perks.
