Leaving Tahiti feeling deeply connected to Mother Earth 🌍 our shared sacred place. The water, sky, sun, moon, stars, wind, rain and fire. The flowers, fragrances and the marine life. All the elements of a divine experience that nature offers. The Divine is the doer.😇 . . TAHITI ITI is found at the edge of the ocean of men. Any encounter with the Polynesian islanders provides an opportunity to focus upon nature. Taking time to feel the ocean’s vital equilibrium is to take a step towards the appreciation of its diversity. Each instant is a festival, rhythming the life of the islanders. With the passing days’ Time is heard and marks the pulse of nature wherein we find the pulse of man. The dawn is a sensation, a fugacious gleam where mingles the strong aroma of the waves with the soft perfume of high altitude ferns. The island wakes before the dawn and feels the pulse of its gardens. the suave scents of the night and the TIARE TAHITI are exhaled at the break of day scenes of life repeated, gestures made a thousand times, A dwelling’s threshold is a privileged place Where we find a well-placed breadfruit tree. An instant of absolute solitude that man shares with his garden, considering the fruits of his labour as he contemplates the future and the succeeding waves... One of the best parts of traveling is getting to reconnect and create with friends and be influenced by good ☕️coffee. Leaving Byron Bay today feeling full of laughter, joy and love for this family and all that they shared with me. We planned our Rest, Restore and Rewrite Your Life Retreat in Bali October 2020 and are working on another Feb 2021 in Sri Lanka. All that is super exciting and yet I’m feeling for everyone here who is being affected by the fires and smoke. It’s an eerie feeling to wake up each morning to watch the sunrise and see the orange sky, the smell of smoke and knowing people are struggling and in danger. Such a helpless feeling and a reminder of the fragility of this place we call earth.
