And I don’t. Six years ago I began a journey. It was a journey of self discovery. For so many years my identity was my job. I knew that was going to end soon and I was terrified because I didn’t know if I would be able to exist anymore. Spirit gave me a nudge. And Spirit has guided my journey ever since. What others thought of me was more important than what I thought of myself. That has changed. “Jesus take the wheel” is something you will hear me say a lot! But the only way for that to truly happen is to let go of the wheel and have faith. That’s pretty fucking scary for someone who had only allowed herself to be vulnerable around a few close people. But when we let go and let God, everything changes. This journey I am on now still scares me from time to time because it seems so big. It’s been another transformative Integrative Amrit Method program here at Prana House in Melbourne Australia.🇦🇺 I’m grateful and humbled to be able to witness these beautiful students who had the courage and vulnerability to allow their tears, fears, laughter, anger and joy, that comes from letting go of who they’re not, be revealed and removed by the powerful practice of Yoga Nidra. Standing in the light of the being that we are, revealing our shadow side, pain and discomfort is what helps transform ourselves and those around us. I took this picture of Tristan two years ago when I was here in Australia teaching Yoga Nidra and I knew that one day I was going to use it for a post I just didn’t know when... But after having spent time with him this last week I decided to post this picture and share this... Its true that I have had the privilege, honor and opportunity to meet some of the most extraordinary human beings on this path. People that are offering such selfless service to help those in need. People that give their time, energy and knowledge to those that are suffering and in pain. Tristan is one of those beings. He not only uses the profound tool of Yoga Nidra to help others but all of his life experiences in helping so many women and men of the Australia military 🇦🇺 and I just wanted to bring attention and energy to all that he does to help others reduce suffering and support their healing.
