(Chapter 1: Chocolate Chip Cookies)
Steve Harrington x F!Reader
Summary: Steve and the gang find some sweet treats at their doorstep along with a special guest.
Warnings: None
Word Count: 1k
After finally buying an apartment for himself Steve felt proud. Saving enough money that he earned (by himself) he can finally call his place his own.
Well, his and Robins. Sharing the modest flat together.
Although there were a couple of disagreements on living arrangements it was nothing outside of their usual banter.
Other than that everything was perfect and it seemed like Steve's life was finally turning up.
What could possibly go wrong?
As Steve just got back from work, today being one of the days where Robin and him didn't share shifts, he felt off. Perhaps from the lack of Robin's rambling, or the kids surprising him from around the corner.
When he shared the news with the kids about their new apartment he didn't expect them to treat it like their new hangout zone. But it seemed that whenever he was just about to open the door, there they were making themselves at home.
Dustin even begged to get a copy of the keys which he firmly said no to. Yet the party always appears as if from thin air. Steve suspected they took his when he wasn't looking to get copied.
Though Steve wouldn't admit to it no matter the amount of taunting, he did feel better knowing what he would call his home wouldn't be synonymous with lonesome.
In times like today, it was nice to hang out by himself once in a while . Even as a social person Steve still had times when he liked peace and quiet. A dramatic difference between the "King Steve" people thought they knew at parties.
But today as he was walking up the stairs he had the feeling like in the beginning of a scary movie that someone, or thing was watching him.
Looking around he tried to keep his guard up. "Don't think about trying something. Cuz I got a bat... somewhere." he trailed off in a whisper as he tried thinking up a plan of defense.
Deciding to just get inside the apartment he tried reaching for his keys but just fumbled them in his hands till they fell to the floor.
"Typical" he said under his breath reaching down till he noticed a pair of feline eyes staring back at him.
It was a black cat sitting atop of a Tupperware container.
While he could hear his mother now telling him of the bad omens and possible diseases a stray black cat could hold he wasn't a strong believer in superstitions.
"Hey kitty. It's okay." He said gently, worried the mysterious cat would scatter. Surprisingly the cat cuddled against Steve's leg. As if the feline were familiar with him.
"Oh. Okay well I guess your coming home with me." Steve said before looking at the cat's collar.
"Rhiannon. Interesting".
Grabbing the Tupperware, cat, and keys; Steve entering the small apartment.
As he put his stuff away he placed Rhiannon down as she walked around the apartment.
Looking in the refrigerator for some milk to feed the cat, Steve spoke to himself "Is there something about me that attracts strays.", thinking about the kids.
Speaking of which he heard the sound of the front door opening, turning around.
"Hey Steve, it's us!" Robin exclaimed as he heard the kids arguing about something, per usual.
"So much for quiet time." Steve said
"Oh please, you love us." Dustin said, sitting on the couch grinning at Steve.
"If there's something I love it's to keep the apartment clean. Feet off the coffee table heathens." Steve said
“Notice how a girlfriend isn’t on the list,” Mike added.
“You call us the heathens, but don’t think to share these delicious-looking cookies with your guests?!” Lucas said, opening the Tupperware.
“When did you bake?” Robin asked
“I didn’t I just found those outside the apartment and-Why are you eating it?! We don’t even what’s in them, who made them or-”
“Relax Steve, it’s just a cookie. A really good cookie. I doubt anyone has ever died from eating one.” Max said, grabbing another.
“-She said, her famous last words.”
“Well, it was worth it cuz these are amazing.”
“Cmon just try one Steve.” Robin said holding a cookie close to Steve’s face.
“Wow never thought I’d be peer pressured by you” he said grabbing the cookie and finally just taking a bite.
“Well?”
“Okay, it’s good but I still don’t know where these came from. They were just sitting by the door.” Steve replied to a grinning Robin, reluctant to how oddly delicious the mysterious cookies were.
Lucas grabs the milk from Steve pouring himself a glass.
“Hey chill out with the milk. I’d like to remind you that you don’t live hear kid.”
“But I’m a growing boy. Gotta stay strong for varsity.”
“That is if you get off the bench,” Max says.
“I’m wounded woman,” Lucas says holding his hand to his heart and grinning at Max as they share similar light blushes.
“Well regardless of if your playing or not I was using that,” Steve says grabbing the container back.
“For what?” Robin asked.
“The cat.” “You guys got a cat?” “We have a cat?” “Since when”
“Okay relax, relax. I just found a stray outside and was just gonna feed it.”
“Aww looks like the Tinman has a heart,” Dustin said
“Ha ha” Steve said looking around the apartment for the cat.
“Here Rhiannon.”
“You named her?”
“No that’s what was on her collar,” Steve replied trying to lure the cat back out.
“What a cool name,” El said fascinated at the thought of a cat in the apartment.
“I’d be cool if I could find her. Wait did you guys leave the front door open again?! How many times have I told you. Close the door.” Steve said locking the front door.
“Maybe she left.”
“Yeah I guess so. Hopefully she’s okay.” Steve said feeling dejected.
“We’ll I’m sure she’ll show up again. No one can resist the Harrington charm.” Dustin said jokingly to which everyone rolls their eyes and went back to eating the mysteriously brought cookies.
Not noticing the sticky note that had once been attached to the Tupperware now scattered in the hallway with a message from their neighbor just across.

(Prologue)
Steve Harrington x F!Reader
Summary: Sweets never brought joy to Steve's heart, but what if someone had the power to change that? Perhaps a magical treat or a special recipe could unlock a happiness he never knew existed.
Warnings: None
Word Count: 381
Steve was not too fond of sweets. He knew the odd reaction it garnered when he told others. Not wanting to feel unpopular he found ways to hide his opinion.
Instead of trick-or-treating for candy, he’d plan parties at his house on Halloween, which wasn’t hard to get people to come to when he was King Steve.
When he got chocolates from girls on Valentine's Day he’d re-gift it to another girl. Although this made him feel slightly guilty, with a little Harrington charm their cheerful reaction seemed to outshine his actions from others.
Even on his birthday, it was easy to avoid the cake when nobody but him remembered the occasion.
While there may have been a time he could recall liking sweets just as any other kid it had quickly become a bittersweet memory for him. Another time when someone Steve had cared for left him.
When Steve was young his family hired a maid. She’d read him bedtime stories, play with him, and always made the best desserts ever. So good Mrs. Harrington had her make treats to impress the neighborhood under the guise that the Harrington's had the perfect life.
But in Steve’s eyes, the only perfect one in that house who truly cared for Steve was her.
Eventually, she stopped coming over as Mr. Harrington begrudgingly explained to a young Steve that he was at the age where he could fend for himself. Unfortunately for Steve, Mr. and Mrs. Harrington were so absorbed in their thoughts that they didn’t even notice it was his birthday.
Alone in the silence, he stood in his house, surrounded by the empty reminders of joy that would never reach him, with not a single "Happy Birthday!" spoken to acknowledge the day he so desperately wished would be noticed.
That marked a core memory in Steve to realize that some people just leave. No promise, not even cake, could keep them from walking away.
Of course, he never shared this with anyone as Steve saw this as normal. He didn’t think he needed or deserved a birthday or even the gift of sweets to “feel better”. He thought life was just taking in bitter medicine without the chaser of a spoonful of sugar.
But all this changed once he met her…

Marry You
Summary: What does the person the lawyer who's known what she's wanted all her life decide to do for her wedding? Seriously, what does she do?
Word Count: 1.2k
Harvey Specter x Reader (she/her)
*This isn't really set in a specific time on Suits; just somewhat near the last few seasons. It's been a while since I've watched it but I really wanted to post this story idea so I hope you enjoy.
From a young age you always knew what you wanted. At 7 you realized you wanted to become a lawyer. At 16 you decided to attend Harvard. And when taking your first steps into Pearson Hardman, meeting the 'Harvey Specter', there you knew from his iconic smirk he'd be an important person in your life.
So when you couldn’t make a single decision for the wedding this made Donna, concerned to say the least.
At Donna's desk early in the morning
“Special order for one Donna Paulsen.'' Rachel said, placing the coffee cup in front of an exhausted Donna.
“You're an angel.” Donna says looking frustrated
"I got your SOS. What's wrong?" Rachel said, looking worried.
"Wedding plans."
“Is there too much to do? I told you if you need any help at all I’ll be there-”
“No, that’s the thing. We haven’t made a single decision yet.”
"I mean it does take time to plan a whole wedding."
"But it's been months; you would think by now we’d have an idea for a theme. All we’ve done is look at tons of cake flavors, venue options, themes; but nothing seems to resonate with her.” Donna said, pulling out binder after binder of wedding decisions.
It seemed that whenever they’d go over planning you would avoid it, trying to push finalizing for another time. (Not picking a wedding season, let alone date).
"Yeah, that's a bit weird..."
"I know."
"So why don't you talk to her about it?"
"It's just. Ever since she asked me to be her maid of honor I knew I'd do anything to give her the wedding of her dreams. But she's rather focus on her cases than sit down and make a decision. I'm just feeling so frustrated. I want to help her but I can't." Donna said, laying her head behind the stack of binders, eyes fluttering from tiredness.
"Look. Why don't we just put this aside and see how tomorrow goes.” Rachel said, pushing the binders away.
“We're all going wedding dress shopping, maybe once she tries on a couple of dresses she’ll get a clearer idea of what kind of wedding she wants."
"You're right."
"I always am."
"Hey, that's my line!" Donna exclaimed.
At a brand named wedding dress shop the next day
As the consultant described the dress you had on you couldn't help but feel odd. Not that the dress was bad. But with every gown you couldn't envision yourself walking down the aisle in any of them.
"So what do you think?" the consultant asked the room, waking you from your thoughts.
"It's beautiful."
"You look gorgeous."
"I'm bored."
"Louis!" Donna lightly scolded.
"Not of this but the dress. It just doesn't radiate how special she is. How is she supposed to take photos, smile happily, and look back fondly at this moment in her life when all she's wearing is this boring thing."
"Sir this is an Oscar De La Renta-" the consultant tried to pitch in.
"And this is about to be Miss Specter so I suggest we look at some other dresses to save us from wasting our time at this establishment." Louis said, turning away in frustration.
In the dressing room
"That Louis Specter sure sounds like a handful." the consultant said assisting you.
"Oh God if he heard you call him that. His ego is already inflated-" you said grinning at the consultant's assumptions about your relationship; probably more normal than the reality.
"I need to speak with you." Louis spoke after he knocked on the changing room door.
"Does it have to be right now?"
"Yes it's an emergency!"
"Could you please give us a moment?" you asked the consultant who promptly left.
"What's wrong?"
"This!" Louis said, pointing at you exasperated.
"You've lost me."
"What I mean is my two best friends are getting married to each other. You both aren’t treating this as passionately as you do in your cases. I’ve seen more fire in your eyes when defending clients than today. I mean I am truly concerned as Harvey's best man.-"
"Okay Louis. Calm down." you said, holding onto Louis' shoulders but clearly growing worried from his speech. While a part of her wanted to jest about Louis' borderline obsessive view on her, he was right.
“I appreciate your candor, truly. I’m just… feeling a bit lost at the moment.”
“Should I call Harvey then. I mean he’d probably ignore me but I could get Donna to-”
"No Louis. I do want to marry Harvey. I swear I do."
"That's exactly what I wanna hear, especially on that big day."
“Thanks Louis.”
“Of course. I mean we really need to get your mojo back if I’m buying your dress.”
“Buying my-Louis you don’t have to do that.”
“Don’t even worry about the price. I offered to pay for Harvey too but he said he didn’t want me finding out about where he gets his suits…”
As Louis went on talking like he always did you felt appreciative of the deep caring nature he had; even if it was a bit eccentric.
Late night in you’s Office
"You know working such late hours like this isn’t beneficial to your health right?" Harvey said, leaning against you’s door frame to her office.
“We’ll then. I guess I’ll have to fight the case beyond the grave.” you said, getting up to properly greet Harvey. As you gives him a quick peck on the lips he holds onto you a bit longer.
“Hold on." Harvey said guiding you both to the couch in your office.
"So I might have overhead from a couple birds that you’ve been having a bit of trouble with the wedding planning. Now I know I’ve been gone for an unbelievable amount of time, but I just want you to know that you could tell me anything."
Harvey said looking at you tenderly.
"Seriously. Whether you wanted to elope or take 12 years until we have the perfect wedding; I'll support your choice no matter what." Harvey joked.
"We'll I don't think I'll take that long... I guess a part of me wants to blame it on you for leaving but deep down I know this life we chose isn’t exactly flexible.”
You started unraveling your nervous feeling on the wedding.
“ I’m just a bit overwhelmed by the fact that we’re officially together.”
“So these last few years we’re just a friendship?” Harvey jokes to lighten the mood.
“Yeah didn’t you get the memo. I guess it was misspelled. I meant best friend not boyfriend.” you joked along.
“What I mean is for most of my life I never had to think of others. God I sound so selfish for saying that; but it’s true. The choices I’ve made have been simple to make because I knew everything it'd entail. Any other option would be pointless... While marrying you, being together has been-"
"Amazing, spectacular, just grand..." Harvey interjected to brighten your mood like he always knew how to.
"Yes. Planning a wedding though; I have no idea what I want for us. I mean there are so many flavors of cake and decorations to consider-"
"That's probably on me actually." Harvey said, referring to his business trip
"You think." you said sarcastically.
"I know going with Mike to set up in Seattle before planning our wedding wasn't the brightest decision. But I'd like to make it up to you. Because I really do want to marry you. From now on I'll be right beside you."
"Thank you Harvey."
"I mean it. " Harvey said holding both your hands and looking at you intently.
"I know you've had to make decisions for yourself for the most part but I just want you to know... Your not alone anymore. For all the parts you feel unsure of in life, I'll be there to catch you and push you back up again."
"That was so beautiful. Did you plan that?"
"That may or may not be a couple lines from my vows. Just act surprised when you hear them on the day. Speaking of what do you think about November?"
"For the wedding?"
"Yeah it's right around the time we started to get to know eachother..."
"You're such a romantic Harvey Spector."
"We'll your about to marry me so what does that say about you."
"We're just a couple of romantics I guess." you say as Harvey kisses you deeply.
Breaking the kiss you exhaled a breath. “You're relentless.”
“Well I’m sure it's one of the things you find attractive about me.” he said walking to her office couch; looking romantically into her eyes.
“I could think of a couple more things.” she said walking in a way Harvey thought was iconic. Like a scene in a movie.
“PG-13?” he asked, stroking you’s arm as she sat on his lap.
“More like rated R.” she said, hands holding his face.
“Kinky.” he said, kissing her. If he were to tell others the way she made him feel, he’d be dubbed a romantic. But the truth was every time Harvey and you kissed it felt like the world faded like that scene in West Side Story.
“While being caught and embarrassed by the whole office sounds like an interesting night, why don’t we go home?” you said, getting up from their close position.
“As if this office hasn’t seen worse things.” Harvey said, smiling in that playful way that made you feel light. Grabbing you’s coat as you went to get your purse putting you’s coat on for you. Turning around and giving Harvey a peck as you walked together.
Feeling relaxed and lonely no more you we're now exited not only to plan the wedding with Harvey but spend your future together. Knowing that while the future may hold some unpredictable moments you can share them with Harvey by your side.

I just added more 'to be posted stories' on my masterlist after just posting a story. (Why is my drafts filled with so many ideas compared to my actually completed posts 😢) And I need help...
"Rebel Yell" is a solo, non romantic, story. Even though Eddie supports Chrissy, its not being 'nice to go on a date' support.
It can be read alone or connected with, "Eyes Without a Face", (without spoilers) a Cinderella/ Romeo + Juliet (1996) inspired story that is romantic.
So my question is...
Thanks for reading this and I hope you have a good day.

Take on Me
Summary: You would think that working with movies would be exciting, but it's not, at least for Steve. Especially with Robin taking the day off. But when she walks into his life it seems like everything goes from black and white to a world full of color.
Word Count: 2k
Steve Harrington x Reader(she/her)
Warnings: cursing, weed and edibles, ghosts
Empty days in the video store felt painstakingly eternal as Steve was trying to find the means to break up his shift.
When Robin called to break the news that she was taking the day off after getting wasted the night before he felt exhausted, already envisioning the boredom ahead.
He knew it wasn’t right to blame Robin for that. It was his idea to celebrate Robin and the kid's week of surviving high school. Something Steve had to convince her multiple times would happen.
"We literally lived through hell and back. But high school is where you draw the line?" "Back off this is completely different!"
Rambling about all the worst things that could possibly happen. Even with the party Robin still had a bit of an edge.
Hoping that an after party between the two would be the cure turned into Robin getting shitfaced at Steve's house and having to babysit her for the night. The worst part was trying to sneak Robin back to her own house as she loudly gushed about Vickie.
How was he supposed to know Robin was a lightweight? Perhaps it was his 'King Steve Days' which built his tolerance.
Either way he had nothing else to do for the day. Completing all the tasks in less than an hour.
To be fair it usually took longer with Robin and Steve talking as they shared responsibilities.
Since it was the middle of the day when no one would be in to rent, return, or even look around Steve just hung out around the front counter. Hoping something or someone would magically appear and take him out of his misery.
Just as his eyes were about to flutter shut, his hand already propped up to his cheek, he suddenly heard the sound of an odd rumbling. Looking in front of him to the cardboard cut out shaking by itself.
Desensitized by the oddities of Hawkins he instinctively readied himself for another upside down nightmare.
Grabbing a random VHS to use as a weapon.
Out of nowhere someone tumbled out of the cut out. A figure Steve couldn't help but feel like he'd seen before. Until he saw her face.
The same one he passed by every time he went in and out of the doors of Family Video. The same one he'd question Keith for having in the store when the movie hadn't been popular in so long. Responding with "Its a masterpiece that surpassed its time."
Something that Robin seemed to agree with but not on the day she came into work and bumped into it in front of Vickie.
"S'cuse me, sorry." she said as she felt surprised by the stand she bumped into.
Steve giggled as he saw Robin blush, her eyes caught onto Vickie who saw her apologize to the inanimate object.
"Why do we even need cutouts anyways..." Robin went on a ramble, walking towards the back, trying to divert her embarrassment to a long rant on the unnecessary need for cutouts.
Vickie's blushing face not going unnoticed by him or her friend.
Just as he was about to set the VHS down the cover caught his eye.
"It's you. The cover. On the cover." he said flabbergasted. Looking back and forth between the woman in front of him and the figure posing on the very tape in his hands.
It couldn't have been her; one there being no chance of a celebrity ever visiting Hawkins, and two no less coming through a cardboard cut out of an old cheesy comedy with constant double entendres.
"Wanna take a picture or are you gonna do something about it?" she said to him with a sure grin as she walked towards him. The same line on the cover, freaking him out even more.
"How did you get out... what are you." whilst Steve freaked out, the star stayed oddly calm.
"Is this another Upside Down thing because I've already dealt with enough last year-"
"Relax its just a bit of 'movie magic'. If you want I could show you a good time... Steve" she said moving close up to read his name tag.
Feeling a blush take over his face he largely considered that if anything he learned from the previous dangers should give him a sense to be cautious with the new figure standing so close to him.
Yet he felt a sense of security and excitement at the same time. Like when you're about to do something dumb in a dream but feel like doing anything else will break away from fate.
So with nothing to do he acted with the exact riskiness of a horror movie character who'd be yell at for walking right into the danger and said... "Sure."
Moving to stand near her without the partition of the desk between them. "But what exactly are we gonna do because-" before Steve could finish his sentence she grabbed his hand and with a tight squeeze he found himself transported in a blink of an eye.
Just as she showed up to Family Video he tried to balance himself from the sudden move finding himself in the hallways of a school.
Even as he looked around curiously and cautiously she moved around with the confidence of walking the earth with every location on the back of her hand.
Walking up to a random locker and grabbing a brown paper bag from a familiar rebel's locker.
"Wait a minute I know this place" Steve said recognizing the scene they were in.
Looking through the glass of the door which beyond showed the familiar group of teens he'd seen spend their Saturday in detention many times with Nancy.
The first time he'd watch the movie it was recommended by her for a date night. And the next 99 times on Steve's insistence finding a guilty pleasure to secretly share.
It probably wouldn't have been kept a secret by Mike if only he too hadn't fell for the movie (and Molly Ringwald).
"Oh my god I can't wait to rub it into Mike Wheeler's face that I got to meet Molly Ringwald."
But before she could even warn him he already opened the doors to meet the club when he found himself in a little shop with a horrified look on his face as a big weird green thing stood in front of him.
"You sure are a quick one" he heard her voice behind him, gently patting his shoulder as he already sticks his arms to shield them from the dangerous plant growling at them.
"Not this one Twoey. He's all mine." she said hugging his arm. Making Steve's face flush as bright as her red nails.
"Besides I got something else special for you." She said grabbing what seemed like gummy bears in the brown back and hurling them to the plant, not one falling on the ground.
"Don't worry big guy. Twoey's just a lil' hungry." Facing Steve with her sparkling eyes. "Lets go somewhere more exciting. Grabbing his hands again and leading them through another door.
Not before saying goodbye to the carnivorous plant. "I'll see ya around Twoey."
Steve still a bit surprised by the giant plant and by her actions which made him blush.
Looking around his surrounding he felt a slight shiver down his spine. As if the hotel walls that surrounded the pair held something more sinister.
It wasn't until he turned around to find an odd green flying 'thing' rushing towards them and a guy in a jumpsuit that he knew there would be trouble.
Before Steve can even react he got slime on his vest. "Dammit, I just washed this!" he exclaimed in a huff, looking down at his stained clothes.
"Well why don't we go somewhere a little more private?"
Turning to the guy laying on the floor. "Have fun with the ghost busting." Waving her goodbye, still dizzy from the ghost that ran up to him.
As they walked into another film Steve found himself in a dark dining room only illuminated by the candles sitting on top of a cake.
"Hey I know this movie" Steve said grinning as he went straight to the table.
(Definitely not admitting to his obsession with Molly Ringwald.)
"Thought I'd save the best for last." she said sitting across from him. The birthday candles illuminating Steve's excitement to recreate one of his favorite scenes.
"Thanks for getting my clothes back to normal"
"Thanks for coming over."
"Thanks for coming to get me."
"Happy Birthday Steve... Make a wish."
Steve smiles. "It already came true."
He looks down at the cake. Amazed by the adventure of a lifetime.
Maybe following the plan Steve's parents envisioned wasn't meant for him, being with Nancy, or even leaving Hawkins.
Because no matter how chaotic things get and the risk that anything could happen. He couldn't help his heart swell as his hopefulness that things can be so much more interesting.
With hope in his heart he leaned in to kiss the starlet, hearing the music play in the background as his vision fades to black.
Opening his eyes Steve awakes to see the VHS of the movies he'd just experienced drop on the floor. So it had all been a dream, he thought as he moved around the desk to pick up the VHS that fell.
Wishing that he'd stayed dreaming as to pass the time the familiar ring of the front door alerted him just as he almost finished picking up all the tapes to the same vibrant red nails he'd seen before.
It was her for real. Not the movie dream version but the real life one. The same girl he'd seen tail behind when Robin and Vickie did their awkward version of flirting.
Even though they never talked Steve noticed the little things about her.
The way she always got candy when picking a movie. How she'd apologize to others for being in the way even when the hyper kids who came in weren't looking in the first place.
Overall she was sweet.
Looking at him with her glasses covered face he couldn't help but feel lost in them as he quickly straightened out his outfit and ran his fingers through his hair hoping that he didn't look caught of guard.
"Wanna take a picture or are you gonna do something about it?" she said to him with the same sure grin that made his eyebrows shoot up.
"What?" Steve said feeling a sense of deja vu.
"I mean... that's the line from the movie right? I remember seeing it a while ago but I guess I'm not as cool saying that." she said endearingly shy as she looked down and pushed her glasses up.
Even with knowing that she was also shy Steve couldn't muster up his usual suaveness (that Robin would claim ended along time ago).
"No, no I think you're very cool. As cool as a cucumber." already regretting saying with a sigh, as soon as he heard himself. He could already see another tally by Robin.
Finding his nervousness endearing she softly laughed.
As she told him her name Steve knew using pick up lines like "Are you sure you name isn't the girl of my dreams?" would be too cheesy but after that weird nap...
...maybe it was his subconscious or fate, but all he knew was that his heart skipped a beat looking at her.
"And you're... Steve." she said reading off his tag.
Steve never finding his name as nice as she when she had said it.
"Do you need help with-" "No I got it thanks though. Just have to take the long trek to here." he said leading her to the desk he'd minutes ago was napping on.
"These sure are some interesting picks."
"Um yeah they are" Steve nervously combed through his hair. "I mean they're not for me. Just a couple of tapes I picked out for my kids. I mean not 'my' kids just these kids I babysit from time to time."
"That's really nice of you."
"I mean not really they all just seem to stick around so I'm usually the one in charge." Trying to make babysitting the gang seem much, much cooler than it really was.
"I have to say you have really nice taste."
"I usually try to get a little bit of everything. Or else we'd just watch Star Wars all the time. Which is a good movie with those teddy bears but every single movie night with them, its the first time they've seen it- I'm oversharing aren't I?"
"A bit yeah. But its fine. It sounds like you really care about them. And I get it movie nights with my friends can get pretty crazy too."
"Yeah um if you want maybe we could have a movie night together..." Steve asked crossing his fingers underneath the counter. "I mean not just me and you but our friends together if that's not to weird."
"Yeah I think they'd love it..." she said with a sweet grin that makes Steve think of how grateful he is to work at Family Video for the first time.
*Author's Note:
Thank you so much for reading this. If you've read my previous work I know I've been away for forever long ago but I'm back, back, back again by popular demand (not really but I really wanted to say that).
Anyways I hope you enjoyed the movie references. If you didn't catch on they we're; Breakfast Club, Little Shop of Horrors, Ghostbusters, and 16 Candles.
I know there are so many iconic scenes in these movies but I kinda wanted it to hint that the bouncing between movies was a dream.
I also know that in Breakfast Club it wasn't gummy bears and that edibles don't work that quick but I just felt that throwing weed at Twoey made less sense (not that throwing edibles at a plant makes more but...)
I've posted about this before but if you think this fic is OC instead of reader I'll change it but I think there's not to many physical descriptions that make it an OC, but maybe I'm wrong.
I hope you enjoyed this fic and if you have any request please let me know. I'll try to get to them as soon as I can since I want to write more. Have a good day.

Do you get deja vu?
Summary: You've always been right behind Peter Parker. So the one time you decide to garner confidence to befriend Peter before going into a college with people you don't know starts the beginning of a relationship you would never expect with the webslinger.
Chapter 1: Strange Magic
If you we're to describe yourself you'd say you we're just an background character in a movie. Keeping to yourself, never feeling the need to stand out.
Until recently when you decided to try befriending Peter Parker.
A familiar face as you have always been right behind him. Literally. In Midtown, usually seated behind him. On the bus, sometimes finding that familiar head of hair in front of you. Even today, when you noticed him moving into the same apartment complex as you.
While you'd usually just ignore the boy who's life seemed to coincide but never collide. Recently you felt a wave of confidence to challenge your own social barriers.
Realizing that if you finally bit the bullet and at least greeted him as a friendly neighborhood. Perhaps you could have a familiar face too wave at in the halls at school.
Yes as fate would have it Peter and you got into the same college.
But before spiraling yourself into chickening out you noticed Peter walking toward the building through your apartment window. He had somewhat of a saddening expression lately. You understood why with the passing of his aunt but there were a couple of things you didn't understand. Where was MJ and Ned?
You weren't judging, maybe their way of comforting Peter was just letting him have his space. But it seemed that while Peter was always that strong-willed person a part of him was just… gone. With a sudden sense of confidence and realization that the school year was approaching, you thought it might be a good idea to have at least one friend before starting college. Even if it would be a very slow-growing friendship.
So with a surge of confidence, you open the door noticing Peter somewhat frozen right in front of his door. Without thinking you gently spoke, "Hey Peter"…
And with that, you walked down the same steps he was once on deciding that your confidence held on for you for so long. Not realizing the gears spinning in Peter's head that after a long while someone has said his name with a hint of recognition.

Do you get deja vu?
Summary: Peter Parker has gotten used to the loneliness in his life. Watching his old friends from afar. Everything is... fine. But should he get his hopes up when a mysterious figure still knows who he is after the spell? Can Peter get his old life back? Will it be easy?
Prologue
As Peter walked up the steps towards his apartment he wallowed in his loneliness, thinking about them again. The memories they shared, their warm company, it was all gone. While Peter always carried that hope and optimism that made him adorn the title of neighborhood Spiderman, something had changed. He knew he would always protect the people of Queens but in a way, he felt he had no one to protect him from himself. No one to tell him to be careful or want to be by his side as the guy in the chair.
Now all he had left was the ghost of a few memories that he didn’t have any evidence of after Strange’s spell. Not even Strange. After all that chaos all he wanted was to be stronger for the people he loved. Even if they didn’t love him today.
But as he was stuck in his deep thoughts about the people he didn’t even know if he could get back.
-“Hey Peter.” he heard from a girl as he passed by her. That sprung him out of his thoughts as he looked, wide-eyed, at the unexpected person but they had already turned to go down the same steps he once was on.
How did she know who I was?...
Authors Note: Hi everyone! Thanks for reading the prologue to this upcoming series. I don't really have a schedule planned out yet but I do have a plan on how the story will continue and eventually end. So don't worry about this being a discontinued piece. This is my first fan fiction I've posted so I hope you enjoy and if you prefer something else let me know I'd like to write more. Anyway, I hope you have a great day.
