Hi, I'm not sure if this is something that others can relate to, but it feels like my childhood was sacrificed to make way for like nice physical things. My parents had no time to care for me outside of feeding, clothing, and housing me, and even now, it's all a relationship where they just throw money at me instead of helping me in a meaningfull way.
My parents didn't really play with me as a child, and when I was like 8, I was too old to do a lot of childish things. This is really upsetting to me.

Day in my life: medium pain day
HELLOOO!!!! Today i did a bunch. I woke up at 7:30 and left the house after 8:30 to go to my dentist appointment. Because I had school after I decided not to go to my class as the dentists visit wouldve stressed me out already.
They cleaned my teeth with a Polish and scale and my teeth feel great!!! They were very nice and I filled out 1 page of info which wasn't too bad on my hands.
Next, i went to macdonalds, and my mum drove me. This helps me avoid long bus journeys and walking too far.
When we got home, I sat down at my desk and did 25 minutes of schoolwork. After that, I felt the effects of the day and decided not to carry on. My hips hurt, and I felt like I had brain fog, and it just hurt to study. So I decided to sit in bed.
In bed, i went online shopping for a bit before falling asleep at around 5 p.m., and I woke up at 8 p.m.
At 8 I had dinner with my parents. I did have some red meat, which might make me feel a bit weird later, but I also had a lot of veg.
Then I went back upstairs and called my partner!! :>
Today was a good day, and I only have a little bit of a headache.

May!!
Happy First of May!!
Hello! May is EDS (Ehlers Danlos Syndrome) awareness month! As a person with suspected EDS and with chronic symptoms, this is a very important topic to me. EDS is hard to diagnose, and many patients fly under the radar of healthcare professionals which can cause them to suffer lack of treatment and forces them to live with their painful symptoms.
More Information about EDS and associated variations has been attached below and the infographs were originally found on an instagram account that I follow at the username the_chronic_chronicles

Medium pain day
Today was fine. I'm in a bit of pain, but I'm able to revise some for my exams. Watching some yt videos at the moment which is nice.
Did yall know MIT had a blackjack team? Insane work right.
I didn't have to use my cane today which was nice and the sun is out. It's a nice temperature, 20°c.
See you later!!! :3

Outfit of the day :p
I got this stripey red and brown skirt from vinted the other day and styled it with a turtle neck and my new rock shoes and a flannel shirt :)))
I'm thinking of making leg warmers with my knitting things. Also, maybe a sleeve for the handle of my cane for more comfort :D

There’s no such thing as work-life balance for neurodivergent & chronically ill people.
This is because everything in my life requires work:
maintaining friendships
keeping up with my hygiene
managing bills
making money
remembering my basic needs
sleeping regularly
outputting creatively
All requires some aspect of work for me.
And when everything in your life requires work, your balance goes out the window.
If you're neurodivergent and overwhelmed — I see you.
If you're chronically ill and overwhelmed — I see you.
You're not dysfunctional.
You're not incapable.
You're doing your best.

What is up. This is what I have done (and usually the extent of what I can do) on this high pain day.
Get out of bed - this is good, with some struggle, but I made it to my desk, and I was able to get something to eat :33
Get 2 litres of water in me - it feels like a lot of water , but it helps me feel a little better.
Studied - 2 hours!!! This is less stressful on me, but I had to stop because my fingers were hurting. I need to find a better grip on my pen. It does get harder the more I do as I think more about my pain and get distracted.
I did have to cancel a meeting with friends, but they understood, and I'm glad. This might be a lot for people to do on high pain days, but I'm proud I could do this today :))).

Chronic pain
I fear I'm near constantly in pain now. I'm not really sure how to cope with my body feeling this bad and also gauging what I can and cannot do some days. I'm going to make a blog about it (obviously).
If you have any tips please let me know this is awful and I have next to nobody to discuss it with. Ty. <3
