The man will go the absolute distance to make up for the mountain of words left unspoken. Anything to ease the pain in your heart; to soothe the aches he's causing you. To anyone else, these things appear like nothing more than simple, casual acts of romance, but they mean that and so much more. They are acts of both love and apology.

Don't take any of this to mean that he never considers just telling the truth though; he most certainly does. There have been so many instances where he's truly considered sitting you down on a day that he has free and telling you everything. Of course, it would likely take hours worth of spilling his guts and trying his best not to let his emotions get out of hand, but... maybe it would be worth it? Perhaps it would, even if only slightly, ease the burden he carries and bring peace to your poor heart. However, that's where the fear comes back and makes him recoil. What if you were disgusted by what you'd hear? What if you'd turn out fearful of him knowing what he was capable of? What if you'd think less of him knowing why he was even here to begin with? The doubts never fail to be almost sickening. He loves you and trusts you more than he could ever put into words. He knows you deserve the truth, but no matter how many times he tries to convince himself to tell it, he just can't bring himself to disturb the peace he has with you... but maybe one day he'll find it in himself to take that risk. Who knows? Maybe it'll be sooner than later.

In many less words, to love Kaeya is to be patient with him, to give him grace, and most importantly, understanding. Give him that, and he may just be able to find it within himself to truly bare himself to you; to let you see all the things hidden beneath the veil.

AN: What can I say? Xiao's a cutie patootie and I love him dearly. Is he a little out of touch and awkward? Yes. He is, but that just makes me love him more I fear.

Xiao is quite an interesting lover, to say the least. That's not to say he's a bad one though! He's just got an odd way of navigating your relationship.

Unsurprisingly, despite being who even knows how old at this point, Xiao has never pursued romance before. Until you managed to worm your way into his heart in a way he simply couldn't escape he had never entertained the notion of being in a relationship. It would be a distraction from his duties and a risk for his hypothetical partner considering his karmic debt. In short, it would be impractical; an unnecessary and potentially dangerous undertaking.

That being said, this is novel for him. Though he is aware of what he is feeling and has a general idea of what to expect with such a relationship, he has no experience. Said lack of experience combined with his mild social ineptitude often leads him to struggle with expressing his love. He's unsure how to go about all of this in a way that feels comfortable, so his displays of affection tend to be more subtle in nature. If you didn't know him so well, you'd likely find it difficult to believe he treats you any different than he does the average mortal.

However, you do know him. You know him enough to know that he doesn't whisk just any mortal off to, perhaps odd and secluded, but beautiful spots around Liyue in the moments he has to spare. Nor does he allow just any mortal to run their fingers through his hair or idly trace over the markings on his body. Not just any mortal can take up such an amount of his time. You are an exception. An exception who gets to bask in the yaksha's presence.

Although he's certainly touch averse to a degree given his concerns about harming you, I feel he's likely also touch starved for that same reason. He craves what he feels he can't have. Despite his worries, you still willingly offer him the pleasure of your fingers interlaced with his, soft kisses on his cheeks, and warm arms wrapped around his thin frame; all things that he cannot honestly deny that he enjoys. He may warn you time and time again of the karma he carries and the danger you face being so close to him, yet he can't bring himself to shrink away from you. Aside from the few closest to the two of you, it's likely that no one has a clue you two are together. Perhaps unsurprisingly, Xiao keeps quiet about your relationship and naturally expects that you would do the same. As far as he's concerned, this is between the two of you. No one else really needs to know about it. Of course, this isn't out of shame or embarrassment with your relationship, Xiao just doesn't see any reason for it to be a public affair. Like I said before, I don't see him seeking out sexual material particularly often.

After you've had your bath, typically all that's left for you two is a night of cuddles and peaceful rest. Maybe a quick meal beforehand if you aren't both totally exhausted. <3

AN: Just got a friend of mine into Trigun, so it's been on my mind lately. By extension, my favorite functionally immortal alien dork is on the brain again! <3

CW: Fluff with a bit of angst mixed in. This is Vash after all, we can't go without just a tad bit of sadness, now can we? Similar to another post of mine, this isn't explicitly X Reader, but could totally be read as if it is! This is written more so with Stampede in mind, but I happen to believe this would go for any version of Vash.

Vash, as we all know, wears his heart on his sleeve; he's not really that good at hiding how he feels.

That being said, I think that very much extends to when he has a partner. Even if he tried, he just can't pretend that he's not positively enamored; it always shows. The pure adoration in his eyes when he looks at them, that dorky, almost boyish smile on his face whenever they're around, the way he practically follows them around like a puppy on an invisible leash... He's head over heels, and he, nor anyone else, can deny that. Of all the things he feels, the all-encompassing love he has for his beloved is absolutely not something he'd be tempted to brush off or explain away.

However, being so open about how deeply he loves them does simultaneously make him a bit fearful. He's Vash The Stampede, a man with a bounty worth an ungodly amount of double dollars on his head; a man with all sorts of dangerous folks following in his wake, just waiting for their chance to strike. By all accounts, anyone in Vash's company for extended periods of time would most certainly be in danger, and his partner would absolutely be no exception. In fact, it'd likely be worse for them. They'd likely be targeted to get to him. They could be harassed, they could be kidnapped, they could be killed. All for being by his side. It absolutely terrifies him.

If he's honest, his mind has drifted onto the thought of ending the relationship purely in hopes of ensuring their safety more than once or twice. Of course, he's never followed through on it because as soon as the thought has finished running through his head, he's already thinking about how upset his poor lover would be. He just doesn't have it in him to put them through that. Besides, it took him ages just to muster up the courage to allow himself to be with them. He can't let his worries, even as unfortunately rooted in reality as they were, ruin the relationship he'd just barely given himself the privilege to have.

In the end, all that worrying ends up circling right back into just how affectionate he is. Vash knows that every bit of time he has with them is precious, so he very much intends to make the absolute most of it! Any excuse he can get to hold his beloved, let them kiss him stupid (because let's be real here, he is absolutely the one to get kissed stupid in any relationship he's in), or really anything, so long as it's with them, is one he'll take unquestioningly. All of that is more valuable to him than he can even put into words.

Of course, if that means he has to take a bullet, or maybe a few, to protect them from some gang of knuckleheads after his bounty every once in a while, then he'll do it gladly. Besides, he's got his lovely partner to kiss him better when it's all over, so how could he possibly complain?

AN: The area I live in doesn't get snow often at all, but it actually snowed yesterday! First time in years that we've gotten more than an inch! That said, the snow I can see outside in real life is exactly what inspired me to write this. <3

CW: Just some sweetness with our beloved 11th Harbinger! Reader is gender-neutral and in an established relationship with Ajax!

I just know in my heart that getting snowed in with Ajax on one of the rare occasions that he's back home is the best. Sure, you're trapped inside, and that's unfortunate, but you're trapped inside with your dearly beloved partner that you only see once in a blue moon! He's off on business so often that it's hard not to cherish any opportunity you can get to spend an extended amount of time with him.

You're not the only one who's happy either! Believe it or not, I don't think he'd be complaining at all about being forced by nature to put his thirst for battle on hold in order to stay in and catch up on quality time with his dearest. He could fight to his heart's content any other time. So, while the snow was practically thick enough to be an immovable wall that isolated the two of you from the outside world, he'd do everything he could and more to make up for lost time.

Actually, he has one singular complaint... He hadn't had time to catch a nice, big fish for you two before the snow hit!

It might be freezing outside, but Ajax can and will make sure you're nice, warm, and cozy. He's got all manner of blankets around the house (some you didn't even know were there), he knows just how to make your favorite hot drink (doesn't matter if it's hot chocolate, coffee, tea, or something else; he learned how to make it just for you <3), and he's more than willing to lend a hand when it comes to cooking a nice, warm meal. If all of that isn't quite enough, he'll gladly cuddle up with you and offer his body heat too. Basically, anything for his darling partner to keep warm!

Also, don't mind him for being practically attached to you at the hip the whole time. He's honestly just very starved for contact with you. If you get up to go grab something, he's going with you. If you're going to bed, he's going too. If you want to take a bath, you'll have to forgive him for insisting on being there with you. Poor Ajax has missed you immensely, so he can hardly help it. He has to make the most of every second he has with you, and if that means he has to be all over you, then so be it.

I fear you're also gonna have to put up with him talking your ear off too. He's gonna eat up so much of you guys' time in just asking how things have been here at home and then catching you up on his adventures, just leaving out the more... objectionable parts. He can't have you thinking badly of him, now can he?

When the snow has eventually melted away and he has to leave again, it's honestly bittersweet. You hate to see him leave again because you don't know how long it'll be before next time, but rest assured, you're one of the absolute most important people in his life. He'll always come back for you any time he can so long as he's still breathing. <3

AN: Still brainrotting hard, so here's even more Harumasa. I swear, I am working on a non-Harumasa related post though! This one just came to me as I woke up and I needed to write it down before I inevitably forgot it.

CW: Just Harumasa angst. If you like him then this will just make you sad, I fear. The thought literally made me sad when it came to me, and I'm just choosing to inflict it upon all of you too. :(

So, hear me out here, Harumasa is okay with the life he has now. I mean, that's obvious, isn't it? However, I think that sometimes, when his mind wanders off, he thinks about what his life could be like if he wasn't sick; all the things he could be doing if he was just a normal guy.

He could certainly do his job with a lot less worry, although he guesses he wouldn't be able to get sick leave so easily anymore, but he wouldn't be taking such a big risk every time he goes into a Hollow or comes into contact with ether in any way. Hell, maybe if he was just a normal guy, he'd have a more normal job. It's kinda weird for him to imagine himself just having a mundane desk job or something, but maybe if he hadn't ever been sick, that's where he'd be.

Outside of work, maybe he'd go out a bit more? What kinds of fun hobbies could he have had? Maybe he could've still gotten into archery regardless, but at the same time, maybe he would've ended up liking some other sport more? Who knows, maybe in another life he would've been a pro... skater, maybe? Something else fun like that? Hell, who knows, maybe he would've somehow gotten into something really slow and methodical like crochet instead of some super intense hobby. There's really so many possibilities it's almost paralyzing.

I also think that, somewhere deep down, although he'd never acknowledge it, Harumasa's mind does linger a lot on what it'd be like to have a family. Of course, for him, something like that is impossible, and if not impossible then it'd certainly be dangerous, but it doesn't stop him. He just can't help but think about what it'd be like being someone's life partner, being a dad and watching his kid grow up, growing old with someone... but that's all nothing more than a childish fantasy for someone who may not be among the living anymore within the next few years.

In short, I do believe he probably, whether he wants or likes to, thinks about who he could be without his illness a lot and I do think it really messes with him sometimes. :(

In extra short, this man really needs and absolutely deserves the world; and a hug, a big hug.

I will not ever apologize for speaking my truth and saying I 100% believe Harumasa is absolutely, positively clingy as a partner.

So long as you two are together, he'll whine and pout damn near like a child any time he has to be separated from you. Can you really blame him though? He can't ever really say he knows how long he has left, so every single second he could be spending with you is of practically life-and-death importance to him; it isn't his fault he has to be so clingy! Besides, any reasonable person that loves their partner should want to be around them often, right?

That in mind, he will take literally any excuse he can to have you by his side. Well, as long as he's not at work anyway, he can't exactly take you to work with him, all things considered. So long as he's off work and you aren't at work yourself though, he's practically gotta be with you all the time. You need to do a grocery run? No matter what condition he's in, he'll try to come with you. Going to get lunch with a friend? He insists that surely they'd be fine with your oh so sweet boyfriend being there too. You want to go see a movie at the cinema for once instead of watching it at home way after it releases? Well, he just has to go with you; you'll have to forgive him if he falls asleep halfway through the movie though...

What he enjoys the most though are your shared days in. He absolutely loves getting to just stay home with you all day. Even if the day is full of nothing but basic, mundane activities, he's perfectly content. Just having you there is more than enough for him. So long as you're there he can kiss, cuddle, and bug you as much as he wants! There's also the plus of having you there to play doctor for him if he gets to feeling unwell, which he certainly prefers to having to deal with real doctors. It's all a win for him! He doesn't have to go anywhere and you're right there with him!

Under circumstances where you can't be with him in person for a while for whatever reason, he may very well insist on, at the least, texting back and forth regularly if not staying on a phone call with you while you're apart. Makes him feel less lonely and a lot less worried about you, because believe me, he worries. He worries a lot. Ironic as it is, he gets concerned that something bad is going to happen to you while he's not there. Probably just as concerned as you get about him on the regular, if not somehow more actually??? Please don't let him worry too hard, it might make him feel sicker than usual. :(

No matter what, so long as you're dating Harumasa, you'd better be prepared to be spending a lot of quality time with him. <3

AN: I've been playing a lot of Metaphor: ReFantazio lately, so my apologies that this first post didn't come sooner. ^^' I've really been brainrotted to hell and back with that game because I just love it so much. That being said, in a weird, roundabout way, that's exactly what inspired this post! My favorite character is Strohl and me and my friends have a running joke that he's just fantasy Akihiko, so it's only natural that I write something about my dearly beloved proto-Strohl! /hj <3

So... we all know how canonically dense Akihiko is about romance, right? I mean, he seriously wondered why he failed so miserably during Operation Babe Hunt; so much so that he evidently went out and bought some sort of pickup artistry book after. He does not know how to get women, or really anyone for that matter. :')

That being said, how awkward he is about love truly never leaves my mind.

I fully believe that not only is he the type to not realize he has feelings for someone until someone else tells him, but I also believe that, beyond that point, he'll do anything but just ask someone else for advice. He'll sooner turn back to that book he bought after going to Yakushima than just ask. Not to say he would never get to the point of asking someone he knows for help, but he'd have to be really really desperate I fear. He can't help it, really, he's just super shy when it comes to this sort of thing. Sure, all these romance books and movies he's forcing himself to sit through seem incredibly cheesy, but if there's a chance they'll somehow help his predicament, then he'll put up with it all. He has to learn somehow, doesn't he?

Don't even get me started on how much he flounders when he's finally plucked up the confidence to start trying to flirt. Oh boy, this poor guy is a mess. He's trying so hard to act cool and charming, but he just ends up stumbling over his words and having to laugh it off as if he was just making a joke. Things that he used to say so casually (or so he thought at least) end up coming out super stiff compared to before. Any time he tries to compliment his crush, he feels like it comes out weird and ends up backpedaling in a panic. He might just die inside a little if he gets laughed at, but that's not gonna stop him from trying! He's nothing if not stubborn, so a little bit of failure isn't going to be enough to deter him. Yea, he's probably gonna make a fool of himself a dozen more times, but surely he'll get it right eventually... right?

The moment he decides to confess is absolutely where he blunders the most though. It's not that he didn't have a plan, because he definitely did; he kinda had to have one to be quite honest. He just... couldn't exactly stay on script. Even with the perfect time and place for it, I can't help but see him kind of freezing up. He had a plan, but it's all out the window now that he's really here trying to execute it. He probably has to be nudged into saying anything at all, and when he finally does, he just kind of blurts out "I love you".

He'd probably be beating himself up on the inside immediately for screwing up so royally, but if the person he's been crushing on is really deserving of him, surely an awkward confession is no problem for them. <3

Name's Khy, and I think a lot about a lot of characters, so why not have a place to dump all those thoughts? Could I just do that on my main blog? Well, yea. I could have, but I decided it'd be best for me to quarantine make my ramblings about characters I explicitly had no hand in making to a separate space! In other words, this blog exists to help me keep my main focused more on my own characters and content.

I understand that there are canon versions of them as adults, however, I'm just personally uncomfortable writing anything NSFW about characters that I, as an adult who just got into the series within the last year, spent most of the series seeing as practically babies compared to me. └➤ Similar to a few other fandoms here, I will write for it, but will only write platonic/romantic content for a large majority of the characters! The most notable exceptions would be the staff and Leona, though I would generally possibly consider the rest of the third-years. Also, sorry to say, I have two characters in particular that I know I won't write for; Sebek and Crowley. I honestly just can't stand either of them, so I won't write them to avoid my hate for them seeping into my writing.

★ ── Basics

✦ First and foremost... Seeing as this is a blog that will contain both SFW and NSFW content, I'd quite strongly prefer that minors/ageless blogs either do not interact at all or filter tags appropriately so as to not expose themselves to content that is inappropriate for them. Even the thought of a child or someone who may be a child engaging with adult content on my page is enough to make me uncomfortable; much less knowing it.

That being said, should I see a minor/ageless blog interacting with NSFW posts regardless of this, I will be hardblocking. Sorry! I may not be personally responsible for your content consumption, but I am personally responsible for maintaining my own boundaries, and this is one of them. <3

Anyways, with arguably my most important one out of the way, let's get to the other basics, shall we?

✦ While I will generally keep asks/reqs open, I do reserve the right to not accept them! If you cannot respect that I may not be guaranteed to write a request or answer an ask, then, respectfully, just don't send me one at all.

✦ I will always do my best to make sure that everything I post has the appropriate content/trigger warnings, but if I happen to miss something, please do let me know (in a respectful way, preferably; being rude about it is unnecessary)!

✦ This blog is made with general character headcanons/thoughts and X Readers in mind, so please do not ask for anything regarding character X character ships! By extension, please do not ask me to write OCs either. By no means do I not love OCs! I have plenty of them myself, which is exactly why I won't do any writing with OCs. I wouldn't want to feel like I may butcher someone's baby because I know I'd be upset if someone wrote one of mine wrong.

✦ Headcanons/Short Stories (Although these aren't quite the same, I'm putting these together because they will likely be the majority of what I post. It honestly just comes down to it being a lot easier for me to write shorter-form content more consistently and conveniently than longer-form content. This isn't to say I'll never potentially consider some longer-form content though! It'll just take some time if I do longer posts in the future.)

✦ X Reader Content (Platonic, romantic, or smutty, I'm game for writing it.)

✦ Fem/AFAB Reader (Although this isn't typically my default, I'm more than happy to write fem reader specifically!)

✦ GN Reader (This is generally what I will default to when writing X Reader in general.)

✦ Tropes (There's a handful of common tropes I don't really care for and therefore won't write, but the generally popular stuff like only one bed, accidental confessions, or fake dating should usually be just fine with me!)

✦ Dark Topics (Anything that could fall under this general umbrella that I know won't write will be listed explicitly in the section below.)

✦ Smut (With restrictions, of course. Major restrictions will be listed in the next section. Also important to note that when I write smut, I will generally write readers as AFAB/fem-bodied for one simple reason ; I'm just more comfortable writing that. I won't say I'll never try to write GN readers for this, but I fear it would be quite a bit of trial and error in learning how to describe things the right way before I'd feel okay posting GN reader smut.)

✦ Male/AMAB Reader (Apologies to my dudes out there, I honestly just don't trust myself to do you guys justice.)

✦ SA/Noncon (This is non-negotiable. If you even ask, I will not be hesitating in hardblocking you.)

✦ Incest/Stepcest (I will absolutely never write this, nor will I support stories containing it.)

✦ Abuse (Having the topic come up in a post is one thing, but I don't care to write, in major detail, a character/reader enduring abuse of any kind.)

✦ Major Age Gap (Specifically in a romantic/sexual context if any given party involved is a minor while the other is an adult. If all parties involved are adults, then I may consider it, but that's a very iffy consideration.)
