Still doing edits and stuff (I'll toss some AU relevant and just furry wip stuff under a cut here in a second) but I kinda had a question for the people that follow this blog (bc I don't keep track of who all follows me where so Idk what the age range for current followers of this blog is)

I was debating rewording/removing the blurb about not allowing overtly NSFW asks on this blog. Like they've always generally been allowed, but idk that the way it's phrased here (and on other blogs tbh) makes it clear what kind of stuff I'm okay with answering, so I do wonder if just... removing the barrier entirely and then seeing how freaky yall are to set my baseline might be worth it?

*Idk what I'd define FREAK freak shit as. I guess things that actually genuinely repulse me personally or things that the general public (of this blog) decide they aren't cool with (you're free to lmk what those things are!)

Anything I receive would ALWAYS be tagged as properly as I can figure to; hopefully that's never been a genuine concern for people across the Kim blogs- although I do admit to some inconsistent tagging over on Pining (with partial nudity mostly,) so I would understand the worry about it.

Anyhow, I was thinking about testing this here and then maybe making whatever changes happen here to the other blogs; it genuinely just depends on how the poll goes and what ends up getting sent to me. Because across all the blogs I still think I've only received like... one, maybe two vaguely nsfw ones- so I haven't experienced anything PERSONALLY that would make my putting restrictions in place, as I have done, necessary. (I've seen it happen to other people, just. Not me. Not yet...)

Anyway! Scraps/progress stuff!

So, first off: I'm still working on this panel! This is not the most recent version, (I'm well into the shading-) but I wanted to post it because I realized after posting that colored furry Ramona headshot that I'd actually used shades of grey that are. Too Dark! So the colors here are the accurate natural fur color ones.

... I was going to do other panel and screenshot previews, but my files are. A Nightmare. Sorry 😬 I guess you can see some variation on how I might be doing her fur dye...?

She'll either fully dye it or she'll be dying her spots specifically! I've got mockups for Many Different Versions of both concepts, but I enjoy the color shift of the second one there. You might see that more frequently in fully furry work if I keep things more simple for the actual hybrid AU.

Some snippets from doodles or wips I'm doin... I was going to do Scott as a ferret, but I really wanted to draw some sort of coydog mutt guy. I have no justification for it, but it's been fun, so that's all I care about. It's also...

Enabled me to do fun goofy little things like this! How could you not love that sweet goofy face? (Two separate snippings of one piece are the first two- did it for better previewing! Also because I don't like how Kim looks in it, if I'm being honest-)

And a tree that's totally not part of a more full image you may see more finalized in the future or something, haha- why ever would you think that? (I'm well into the coloring stage shading is just My Enemy.)

Idk. I'm having fun here, if it wasn't obvious. Hope you all are having fun with it too!

Just found out about her, honestly. No relation beyond a shared place in our respective universes, I guess? Maybe. I mean, that might not necessarily be true, if there are universes where my role is different, right? Or if- Nevermind. What was I...? Right.

Cats are cool, and she's me, so she's probably alright.

Sometimes I find that animals get a little wary around me, so I don't know how she'd react, but I might like to see what I'm like as a literal cat. Could be interesting.

Like Lisa Frank style maybe. Idk. Could be a touch extreme for what I want in practice but I wouldn't know til I try

(I'll have some of her art under the cut for an example of what I mean; also the wip this would be initially applied to. Also Natural Fur Color [barring Tweaks])

As you can see, bright and colorful! It just seems like that might be... tedious. Also difficult to do actually, for all of it? Cause I think the way I've done things so far implies some of the fur goes down along her back. She'd probably need help for that... I might have just talked myself out of this idk. Maybe she could dye her ears and tail still? Hhhh... idk it's just a cute fun idea. Maybe she did it back in college, since Roxie could help her? The way I'm tweaking stuff for the AU currently has Roxie around a lot more potentially, so she could start helping her do that again... or Kim maybe, even, later on...

Also,,, how do we feel about Ramona's facial markings? I'm not sure if I vibe with them or not yet. They kinda don't look great if the faint white markings aren't also there? In my opinion? Idk. I'd love Thoughts.

Slight tweaks to Roxie's mask marking as well, might walk it back but I like it. Should it be less faint though? Hm. Again, I'd love to hear thoughts!

(Also, none of those eye colors are gonna be the final pick for this, I don't think; I just realized I'd forgotten to do that, so I tossed some that were close enough so I'd remember to fix them.)

Wips for some upcoming edits! The last ones I would really like some feedback on, but general feedback also would be nice!

Firstly though, as you can see, a compelling suggestion was made to me about Roxie. So moving forward, she will be a raccoon! (You can probably still expect to see some other ideas I had as fully realized edits eventually, though.) Also, people will sometimes get additional markings to their skin! So Scott's design has been altered, as you can see with Nega Scott!

And Ramona might be locked in as a jaguar, with Lisa being a leopard! Idk, it works for me; I do have more mockups for Ramona (SPTO ones) following this lead, but I'm still open to suggestions! The facial spots might not be in the final, also; we'll see.

Now, the two I need feedback on: Neil and Joseph.

Neil, I'm just struggling to select an animal really. I think I like gecko the least, possibly owl the most! I like the claws he gets with sloth though.

And Joseph, I would like some feedback on dog breeds. I do have one suggestion marked down here for a terrier mockup, but the two above are for Belgian laekenois and wetterhouns. I made my selections based on what some websites were telling me about their personalities, but I have never interacted w those dog breeds before to my knowledge, so. 🤷‍♀️

(And before I forget! Hollie is a hyena! Spotted, specifically.)
