Israel has violated Phase 2 of the ceasefire agreement and has blocked humanitarian aid from entering Gaza once again during Ramadan. Prices for food and other necessities have skyrocketed. In addition to this, the solar panels that produce the energy that allows Gazans to connect to the internet are still in need of repair.

Simply put: there is a lot for us to do right now.

Having mommy issues really feels like you're being plagued with...... Something. You can never put your finger on it. Until you do. Until you see a mother and a daughter giggling to one another, as if sharing a gleeful secret that only they will understand. Until you see the light in a mother's eyes when her daughter accomplishes something big or small. Until you see a daughter simply melt in her mother's protective arms. Until you see the pure love in a mother's eyes as she talks about how precious her daughter is to her. Until you see the fire in the eyes of a mother who will do anything to protect her child from the world.

It hurts. It really hurts. And you can only wonder if you'll ever get to receive that love yourself.
