Shinazugawa has never been able to properly handle grief in his life.

Not that he hasn’t experienced grief, it’s been something that’s been torturing him throughout his entire life. Starting from a young age even up until the presence he never was able to properly heal or to ever express how he feels. Sanemi’s emotional response has been broken ever since the start. Despite his overwhelming issue, sanemi copes by pushing the blame and pushing his emotions to the problem. Swallowing down any agony he feels and channeling that into anger, and every time the perpetrator is the same every single time.

Demons. A force of nature foreign to the land only brought to bring destruction, pain and sufferings. Sanemi absolutely hated demons. There’s many things around him that cause him agony but nothing could ever surpass the torture that demons have brought to his life. Maybe it’s punishments for the acts he’s committed but the people that demons have slaughtered and taken away from him were innocent. They had done nothing to deserve their fate, and sanemi can’t help but blame himself.

When you came into his life sanemi tried to push you away. He didn’t mind his presence but he knew the risk of letting others get closed to him. He thought you would get the memo soon enough and just give up on him, decide he was a lost cause. He was more than surprised when you proved him wrong. You stayed with him even after his attempts to try and push you away. He was still himself, quite brash with his less than kind words but you could tell he was starting to lean in. Breaking down the walls he put up and deciding to embrace your presence instead of pushing you away again.

The more you stick around with him the better he began to feel. While it was hard to tell, you could see how much he was really beginning to get comfortable with you. You taught him how to heal.

“It’s okay for you to not be okay you know? You really don’t have to always suck it up.” You blurt out looking down at your feet as you sit on the bench with Sanemi right by your side. He only looks up at you after you say that as his eyes shine with confusion.

He opens his mouth to object but no words come out. He takes a beat trying to think of what to say as he continues to look towards your direction. You take his silence as another opening to continue your point.

“I know you’ve gone through alot and i know your learning to move on but you can never recover bottling up your feelings like that.” You say continuing on with you point. “Think of it likes this, your experience are like an open wound and those hurt. You can leave them alone to close alone but that will take more time and more pain. Or you can treat them, releasing the pain and speeding up the healing process much quicker.”

Sanemi stares at you before he scoffs, looking away as. “Wounds can still become scars.” He mutters as your eyes drift back over to look at his.

“Yeah, just because scars don’t go away doesn’t mean they never have healed before.” You reply seeing Sanemi’s face soften looking back at you once more. “Whatever you say.” he mumbles as you chuckle at his reply.

Sanemi’s memories flash seeing this moment happen in his mind once again. His senses beginning to come back to him as he feels a hand pressing against his chest, he assumes it’s somebody preforming CPR. His ears ring as he can begin to hear multiple people yelling. He hears somebody say, “SHINAZUGAWA HAS A PULSE!” while others feet run across the ground. His hand twitches as his nerves begin to act and his body aches in pain. He’s so tired, so weary almost delirious as to what was even happening around him. Not making an effort to open his eyes until he can remember what was happening.

The sun still reflected down on his body as it rises up again. Ah, he remembers now. The final battle, a raging war against the creator of all the suffering that’s ever happen to him of any other. It was painful, full of agony as he can only remember his adrenaline and the pain rushing through his body as he overworked himself. Destined to keep fighting no matter what happened. No matter what.

Sanemi stayed still trying to awaken himself listen in on his surroundings, he feels others shaking him to wake up again and he nearly believes he should but he thinks it would be fine if he layed here awhile longer. He lays motionless until he hears the panic and distress of others around him as a kakushi yells “THEIR HEART IS SLOWING DOWN, WE NEED MEDICAL ASSISTANCE!” Sanemi’s heart nearly stops himself as his body shoots up on instinct. The kakushi who surrounded him yell out at him awakening so suddenly as he watches more rush past him. His body feeling sick and weak as his hands begin to tremble.

Slowly he finds the strength to stand up, turning his head as his eyes widen and his blood stops. He sees your body as you lay motionless, many people surround you trying to at least get you to wake up. Your body was mutilated as it seems you got a direct hit from a bad attack. He only realizes how bad it was when he sees two swords laying next to your right arm. Shinazugawa stumbles walking over towards you to get a clear view as tears threaten to drop. The moment he stands over you guilt consumes him when he sees not only your sword but his sword lying next to yours. He gets down on his knees to sit next to your body as the kakushi around only back away. One sticking around just for a moment to whisper in your ear “I’m sorry for your loss.”

Sanemi stares at your body with guilt taking over his senses. He feels sick seeing your state as he has to restrain himself feeling his body want to gag. His arms wrap around your body bringing you into a makeshift hug as he cradles your form. It doesn’t take long after that for him to fully break down. Tears flow out of his eyes like rivers as he nearly begs for you to wake up, hoping you somehow will hear his pitiful pleas and return. Return back to the corps. Return back to him.

He can’t help but return to some old habits and have some form of anger to the problem, even if it didn’t exist anymore. Demons took everything away from him. His mother, his siblings, his friends, Genya and now you too. While he may of gotten his revenge, finally getting and bringing justice to the victims of this attack he still doesn’t feel whole.

He knows you told him that he must heal, to release his emotions and be human, and he’s trying. Sanemi even succeeded in following your teaching. Even if he’s starting the healing process. Sanemi doesn’t think he will ever recover.

Always telling you he’ll be home soon and to not miss him to much. He always tells you it‘s just to say hi but you think it’s to help him push through the day.

husband!nanami who always uses you as an excuse to get out of any work events or after hour activities. “Sorry, tonight reserved for my partner.” , “Unfortunately i cannot join you. I need to get home to make dinner for my partner.” , “Sorry, my partner needs me.” The list can go on, anybody who works with him may get to know you without even meeting you because of nanami.

husband!nanami who hates having to stretch out his days whenever he has to do anything for jujutsu tech. As much as he doesn’t like doing it, it brings him some peace of mind knowing the curse he’s exorcising cannot harm you or anybody else.

husband!nanami who tends to talk about you around some of the students in jujutsu tech more than he realizes. Just like his coworkers they to learn a lot about you whether they have met you or not. Some of them start looking up to you as another guardian figure the same way they look up to nanami.

husband!nanami who on his way home gets distracted and ends up buying you flowers. Using them almost as an apology for his long day away from you and also to reassure you once again that he loves and cherishes you. He always likes to buy you tulips but on other occasions he’ll buy you roses or daises as well.

husband!nanami who can’t be happier once he makes it back home. Being able to lean back into your arms once again. He feels his shoulders drop down as his body finally relaxes, he feels at peace being in the comfort of your shared home finally back home to you. Who he’s been longing to see ever since he stepped out the door.

husband!nanami who holds you close once night finally falls and your both laying in bed, sleep about to fall upon the both of you. His arms wrapping around you in a comfortable but firm hold. Even when you are asleep he wants you to know he’s there for you, that he’s always going to be there for you.

husband!nanami who’s been saving up money for both of you to move to Malaysia. To finally escape the busy city life, the dangerous sorcerer life to somewhere peaceful. A place where both you and him can be together without anymore pain or grief to try and approach the two of you. A place where he can love you in peace.

I wrote this three different times to get to the same ending the writing block is killing me

Your method of training was much more unconditional compared to any other slayer to say the least.

You still learned all the basic, excelled well in them to. Techniques came much easier to you and you had a great mentor, it was only the little things that made it different. Maybe the small part that you started to adapt moon breathing into your skills, a breathing style not picked up or used by slayers for a long time. That’s fine, maybe you were just ahead of your game.

Maybe it was the fact that you mentor just happened to be a demon, an upper moon. Which demons are obviously prohibited in the corps, but upperanks specifically? If they even find out about it they’ll be hunt down and hopefully executed immediately. That’s not to good is it..

Kokushibo was an interesting man. His way of going about things is different, this thought process is different, his entire body structure is different. Everything about him was strange. Some ways it still surprises you that he even decided to help you in the first place.

He never planned keeping you around for this long in the first place. It was only so he could blend in with the rest of the slayers nearby, making him less suspicious in case anything happened. He trained you for a while, he was more surprised by how quickly you grown. He didn’t expect himself to grow attached to you. He tried to fight it off for a while he really did but it just wouldn’t work.

So reluctantly he persisted, trained you much longer than a spy mission would require. As much as he denies it he can’t say he doesn’t look out for you. He’ll tell you it’s nothing and you’ll just need to repay him for doing this but you know he doesn’t want anything from you in return. He’s surprised at how far you’ve grown in moon breathing. He’s proud of your growth and he doesn’t regret taking you in while he could.

You’ve been practicing for awhile with kokushibo and with others in the corps. You wouldn’t ever tell them how you learned it, you’d just tell them it came natural to you. That’s all the information they need to know, especially after what you seen today.

You didn’t mean to eavesdrop you just happen to be in the area at the same moment and the same time. The new boy you seen at the corps was outed for smuggling a demon, having been protecting his little sister in the giant box he carried around. You could sympathize for him as you had your own situation with handling a demon. You couldn’t blame him for his actions, but you’d never say this out loud. You wouldn’t dare.

It surprised you how harsh the boy was treated, even more so at how his little sister was treated. It brought you even more fear at realize the repercussions of anybody finding out how you’ve even trained. Seeing how bad this boy was treated despise being here for such little time, it would be devastating if they figured out how long this “scandal” has been going on.

Panic soon began to consume you as your breathing picked up and your eyes widen more as you darted off. Running into the woods in no particular direction as your breathing soon became much more intense as fear only seemed to control your actions even more. Your body leans up against a tree as you slowly shuffle down. Your knees pressed to your chest as you stare at the leaves on the grassy floor.

You were unaware of kokushibo presence who awkwardly stood behind the tree. He was aware of the demon child and its slayer brother as muzan had informed him. Your mumbling only confirmed his suspicions on what he believed happened. He walks to stand beside you unsure if the first way to approach this, he never needed to really comfort you in this manor. The only time he did so was to motivate you to train more, nothing like this.

His hands finds it way to the top of your head as he stiffly attempts to pat your head to comfort you. You only stare up at him as your distress is still present, “what if they find out? Especially if they realize hiw long this has been going on?!” You mumble as the fear in your voice is evident. Kokushibo only shakes his head at you to stop yourself from continuing on.

“Nonsense child, mortals like you are easy to deceive. If they ever do I..” he stops himself he can’t tell you he would kill them, it would only cause you to fall deeper into despair than you already are. “I will personally come to defend your honor.” He finishes his sentence before looking down at you again, hoping to bring you so firm of closure.

You couldn’t help but still fear some fear, no matter how calming the demon’s words were meant to be. “I know I know, but if they even find out for a second I’d be cursed. Banished from the corps, I’d be persecuted by every slayer around. It would be an unforgivable action possibly.” You ramble out as kokushibo only kneels down to get closer to your eye level. Before you can continue he only stops you before you can say more.”

“Being a child like yourself should not be some sort a sin.” He states staring back at you with all six of his eyes. “If they even have any theory of you working under me I shall take the weight and th blame. A child like yourself shouldn’t and won’t feel any remorse nor any pain. I will make sure of this myself.” His words are meaningful in deep despite the strange way he puts it.

Your eyes only drift back to the ground as silence falls between the two of you. Your knees shift before your head turns to look at kokushibo. Who can tell hopes you understand what he was trying to tell you. He shifts as he stares out into the distance becoming stiff when he feels a pair of arms around him. He blinks when you hug him not very sure on how to react quickly.

He sits still for a moment before slowly just letting you hug him. One of his arms wrap around you in hopes to comfort you a little bit more. He feels you calming down more and it eases him to know your original state of panic washes away. Even to this day despite how long he’s been strolling the earth he does not get why he feels any attachment towards you in the first place. Never the less he embraces it.

You on the other hand are grateful for his presence just being here with you in the first place. You know he’s gonna go on with his “mortals are insignificant” and his “humans are so stubborn and so weak at the same time” rambles later on. You can appreciate him being here to give you his piece of mind now and to really tell you he’s here for you even if he can’t express it right.

Your mentor still is pretty weird, immoral to others. You can’t say you don’t appreciate him being him whether others will like it or not.

Kinda projecting in this bcs I don’t like dogs either at all, I’m lowkey scared of them 😢

You do not like going over to Tanjiro’s house at all.

Not that it was his house or anything about him. He’s such a sweetheart and always does his best to accommodate for you, and his house was really nice as well. Always super clean and everything was super organized as well. The only downside was the stupid dog that terrorized every person place or thing it came in contact with.

Everywhere it went it had way to much energy for almost any human, except tanjiro at least. It was much too big for its own good and still thought it was a lap dog at his big size. Super touchy as well always rolling around or trying to persuade somebody into petting it. Much to big, much to fur, much to friendly for your liking. Worse of all, that dog went everywhere with Tanjiro. It was pretty much his child at this point.

If you saw Tanjiro walking down the street near your house? He’s walking the dog. Going to the store? He’s buying something for his dog, and if they allow it the dog coming inside with him. Eating something? The dog has a designated seat at the table to eat with him to. Tanjiro is nearby? His dog is nearby to. The little parasiteー in your words would never go away.

Not to say you didn’t like animals or pets, you adored them to an extent. Especially cats. The much better pet option far superior than any dog could be that cat you had would beat Tanjiro dog for miles at anything. The little feline was so docile, couldn’t do anything wrong. Even Tanjiro enjoyed your cats presence, although he still tried to persuade you to give his dog a chance.

“I promise you he’s really not that bad, he’s just super friendly can you blame him?” Tanjiro ask while following you into the kitchen while you go prepare yourself a snack. “I really can blame him.” you reply without a second thought as your eyes drift back into Tanjiro. “Dogs are just.. ew nothing good about them.” The boy sighs while grabbing something for himself. “C’mon he doesn’t even bite.. he’s so nice!”

He’s really trying his hardest to get you to connect with his dog. He knows you’ve never been a fan of any dogs specifically, and maybe his just is a breed you hate more than others. He still has some hope for you, you gotta at least warm up to the idea of it! Besides his dog already loves you anyways you gotta show some love back right?

On your side of the story nothing Tanjiro could really say would sway your opinion. You’ve seen that dog and you seen how big it is and that’s already one to many signs for you. You have a witness and somebody else on your side at the same time! Tanjiro’s little sister, Nezuko. She’s even told you some of the problems with the dog they own! “Very big, very friendly to! To friendly sometimes..” is what she says and that’s all the evidence you needed. Though she does still take Tanjiro side most of the time.

The boy only sighs once again before an idea comes into his mind. He turns to look at you once more before shuffling beside you, Your cat trailing behind him. He stares up at you biting back a smile that would reveal his intentions. “Could you at least come over this weekend? My dog is going to be gone for two weeks for training, unfortunately..” he says, trailing off on the last part to grab your attention. You only turn your head once you hear the words “dog” and “gone” leave his lips.

You blink for a moment before a smile appears on your lips at his idea. “Sure, but only because the dog isn’t here alright.” you announced as a big grin is plastered on Tanjiro’s lips as his excitement comes to a peak. His arms wrap around you bringing you into a hug as you hug him back. Laughing at how much excitement he was showing.

It’s to late when you realize he was lying to you completely.

The weekend rolls around and you stand Infront of Tanjiro door. It’s a breath of fresh air being able to visit him once again. You knock on his door and can hear his footsteps coming down the stairs. The door swings open as Tanjiro invites you inside and you’re quick to step in. You almost forgot how nice his house looked after being away for so long, it was nice to enjoy seeing it again. Taking off your shoes you give Tanjiro a hug as he shows up all the new decoration he’s put in his living room.

You stare at everything as you admire the room. Almost missing Tanjiro’s words as he mutters a quick “be right back!” before disappearing somewhere inside of his house. You only continue looking knowing he’ll be back in a moment, staring at all the new pictures framed around the room and on the wall. You’re not fazed by the pitter patter of footsteps coming down from the stairs as you simply sit yourself back on the couch assuming it was Tanjiro.

To your dismay, it was not Tanjiro.

You only look up from a second when you don’t hear him walk over to the couch. Your eyes drift up only to see a patch of fur, and to your horror it’s his dog standing in the living room. You look at it for a long time, and it stares back at you for a long time. The dog is the first one to break eye contact and look away into the kitchen as you take the chance to look away as well. Maybe Tanjiro did bring it to training and it will just walk away. Maybe it can sense your “I don’t want you near me at all” energy and walk away from you. Just maybe.

The dog doesn’t follow any of your theories one bit as it soon charges at you. Jumping onto the couch and nearly onto your lap if you didn’t stand up quick enough. Irritation quickly creeps up to your throat as you’re only able to yell out “TANJIRO!” To hear him snickering around the corner. His dog doesn’t make it any better as it rubs and circles around your leg.

Well, you won’t be coming back to his house anytime soon.

# kokushibo ! ☆

KOKUSHIBO who really likes to spar with you. Even after you start dating, he’s not really the one who knows the proper way of asking you on a date or just to spend time so he’ll spar with you. He enjoys training in general and being able to spend time with you at the same time makes it things so much better. You’ll end you understanding why he wants to spar so much eventually and end up asking to spend time with him to give him the proper courage.

# douma ! ☆

Since he can’t really feel emotions properly DOUMA really likes seeing yours. He asks everybody in his cult for every romantic thing couples do and tries every single one of them on you. He observes how your face moves and your reactions to everything intently and it pleases him seeing somebody can feel and do so many things at once. He believes it romantic knowing he caused it, and you just have to endure it every day all day.

# akaza ! ☆

AKAZA who just likes talking over tea. He’ll invite you over whether you’ve just seen him or you’ve been around him already he still snags to have his designated tea time. Akaza just likes sitting in scenic locations during the night and just talking with you. He doesn’t mind what just to spend time with you. It reminds him of his wife, not directly just the feeling. He isn’t sure why he’s just sure he feels very nice when he’s around you.

# sekido ! ☆

He complains way too much for his own good. To the point SEKIDO’S complaints turn into compliments. He doesn’t even realize it but on days where he’s complaining about everybody and your next on the list he just ends up complimenting you instead. He’ll throw this in “Why are you so pretty? It’s irritating how you distract me?” he wouldn’t even realize he said this. Don’t put it out to him if you want him to stay ‘calm.’ He means everything he says but he’ll never admit it.

# karaku ! ☆

KARAKU can get really annoying because he just likes to tease you. Every chance he gets to poke at you he’ll take it. He’s always trying to flirt with you whether he’s serious or just messing with you it doesn’t matter to him. He always means every sky word he says to you and he’ll make sure you know to. It always makes his day being able to spend time with you like this. Even if he’s getting on your nerves every time you see him around the corner.

# urogi! ☆

He brings you like a lot of gifts, weird ones sometimes to. Since UROGI is still half bird he ends up deriving some traits which includes some of their romantic behaviors. Anything he finds intriguing or fits you he’ll bring it to you as a gift. You end up having alot of random jewels and necklaces hanging around, other times he’ll bring you food. Not food you would eat though, more food he and all his bird friends you think he has would like it much better.

# aizetsu ! ☆

He really loves just spending time with you, as AIZETSU likes to take walks with you in the night. Just being able to do something peaceful and quiet with you around makes him feel much better about everything. It’s a breath of fresh air especially if Sekido has already made his ears fall of by lashing out again like normal. Be able to not being under a state of stress while embracing your presence is something he likes. He tries holding your hand but is only ever able to intertwine your pinkies if u don’t ever take the lead.

# nakime !

NAKIME simply just enjoys playing music for you. She just likes sitting by you and playing her biwa, as she tries to learn all the different songs you like and she’s very intent on mastering all of them. Nakime always ask you for any tips or critiques as she always takes any consideration you have for her and is very appreciated at your insight. It’s a very calming activity she enjoys but she’s always careful not to mess anything up in the infinity castle while playing.

# daki ! ☆

She wants to do her skincare with you when she gets the time. Due to DAKI being the courtesan skincare is very important to her, and she wants to make sure yours looks as good as her as well! Be prepared to be sat down with her for nearly two hours as she makes sure both yours and her skin is shining by the time she’s finished her routine on both of you. She thinks your presence there makes things more bearable for her and it pleases her when you stay around for much longer.

# gyutaro ! ☆

GYUTARO stares, like a lot. He can’t really help it he just ends up staring at you! He isn’t the best at expressing what he feels about you and ends up just staring at you to admire you. You catch him just gazing at you alot lost in thought and normally have to snap him out of it. Gyutaro appreciates your patience and putting up with him all the time, knowing he’s going to do it again in the near future. He really can’t help himself as in his eyes you truly are perfection to him. He just doesn’t know how to tell you.

The chance of blood demon art being contagious is unlikely, but not impossible. Maybe after this you’ll realize that if something isn’t impossible, always be cautious because it is. News spreads like wildfire around the corps about a new blood demon art, figured out to be contagious. The effects having something to do with age, making people become much younger than they currently are now. Worse of all the prime suspect of who brought it back is one of the pillars themselves. Everybody is ushered and reccommended to stay inside for now, until they figure out what’s going on. People can only point fingers at who they believe it is, but it doesn’t very long for them to find out.

SANEMI SHINAZUGAWA or now known as “virus spreader” is the first person to suffer from the effects of the blood demon art, and the one who brought it back. He denies it of course but there isn’t much hiding left he can do. Once he’s dismissed from the hashira meeting he goes to train to blow off steam like usual, it’s only then where he feels dizzy as his eyes begins to close. It’s then when the blood demon art sets in place turning the stubborn wind hashira back into a 7 year old boy. To add more onto this disaster, the first person to find him in this state is his younger brother, GENYA SHINZUGAWA Who only saw him when passing the training grounds. Screaming seeing a very young child hold a nichin blade that was much too sharp to be safe, and that this ‘child’ just happened to be his older brother.

It takes awhile for Genya to make it back to master Ubuyashiki to show him what happened to his younger brother. Having to endure chasing him around and him trying to pull out his hair while carrying him back. It was far too late to want him, as now both OBANAI IGURO and GIYU TOMIOKA have both fallen for the infection at the exact same time. Genya only freezes unsure of what to do seeing two 7 year old boys either sleeping or laying soundly in the middle of the courtyard. Especially since once is coiled up between kaburamaru who is not a fan of people most of the time. Thankfully, Genya doesn’t have to deal with three miniature pillars alone as TANJIRO KAMADO seem to come catch up with him after hearing his distress. As he picks up obanai while giyu lingers around his leg. Tanjiro realizes they won’t have much time left until there’s more children hanging around the corps with access to many weapons they do not need their hands on.

The other hashira seem to last longer when it came to the blood demon art effects, or it only lingered on them later on compared to the first three. They’re able to make it to the butterfly mansion in time where KANAO KOCHO who was waiting for them is able to bring them over to her older sister. SHINOBU KOCHO who was already busy inside was aware of this infection before the other three were, as when they find her they see her with a much smaller TENGEN UZUI who has already turned into a 10 year old boy. The insect pillar seeing the other three small children coming into her room is surprised at how fast this infection is taking place tries to quickly think of something to slow it down. Right when they believed they had something kochi is no longer seen, Genya nearly had to bend down to see shinobu has turned back into a 5 year old little girl. Well the butterfly mansion won’t be any help for answers anymore.

Both Genya, Kanao, and Tanjiro are thankful that the sound hashira has turned to an age where he can actually corporate. He’s able to hold onto shinobu while the three young slayers have to take account on who has turned, how their like, and who they need to find next.

UZUI, the oldest so far knows atleast how to take care of responsibilities, but is not a good influence to anyone at all. Always using the “cool kid” excuse to convince somebody to join him ind ping something they definitely shouldn’t be doing. Sanemi falls for it as they already caught him standing in top of a desk to try and jump off and onto Genya’s hair. Uzui says it wasn’t him but you can’t say you believe him when both giyu and shinobu point towards him when you ask.

SANEMI is a wild kid sometimes, he’s still got alot of that aggressive energy from his actual self that has transferred into his much smaller self. Other times he unusually touchy, especially for him. He’ll drag somebody over unusually obanai, sometimes even giyu to just play games with him. Sometimes he likes to bother people in the occasion but it’s normally a phase. Though he is still scared oof Genya in some way, if he’s doing something he isn’t suppose to do and Genya yells at him he’ll stop immediately. He’d never admit this though, ever.

GIYU is very very calm. He doesn’t change much compared to him when he’s older. He’s just more open to hang around the others as he doesn’t mind playing any games. He prefers to stay with somebody, he doesn’t mind being by somebody like shinobu and just staying around her or he’s around tanjiro. He likes to sleep with a lot. Speaking of sleep Giyu is always doesn’t mind taking a nap, he prefers it actually. He just likes to lay down and take a break sometimes. If he is ever being held there’s a good chance he’ll just fall asleep right then and there.

OBANAI is very much a touch starved child. He enjoys being hugged or held by some of the pillars or the ‘older’ kids. He’s very quiet most of the time he’ll talk on the occasion with the kids but is usually quiet most of the time. Obanai is also another sleepy kid, jusf like giyu they both like to sleep. Sometimes they nap together if they feel like it. Kaburamaru still tries to follow him, sometimes you see him just trailing around obanai if he sees him. He did try to coil around obanai like he usually does but if did not work right at all.

SHINOBU is a very good kid, she normally just like staying around in the butterfly mansion. Other times she just enjoys falling Kanao around when she’s doing anything. Even as a small child she still likes preforming her “doctor” role even if she can’t actually preform it. AOI lets her mess around and give her fake doctor check up with some of the real equipment she has around. Though she can only do it in certain rooms with atleast two people inside, one time aoi wasn’t looking and shinobu somehow found a syringe. She nearly got poked in the arm by it if she didn’t look back up.

While the three teenagers try to figure out what to do with their pillar problem, it seems like they have to add another one of the crew. Instead of searching for KYOJURO RENGOKU rengoku comes to them instead, tanjiro if the first to turn around when hearing the pitter patter of footsteps and the loud sniffling coming from around the corner. To his surprise SENJURO RENGOKU is the cause of the noise, holding a much smaller rengoku is his arms. He shuffles over to where tanjiro, Kanao, and Genya are rambling on and telling them how he turned around and ‘poof’ rengoku turned small. Tanjiro sighs knowing they have another kid they found, or what Genya refers to as “waist height army.” Tanjiro takes the five year old boy who has just as much energy and happiness as Rengoku had just before.

Tanjiro was conflicted to say the least. Dealing with hashira was already enough, but dealing with them as kids is whole new territory. Before he can think of something to do the loud yelling echoing in the distance catches his attention. He hopes Genya, kanao, and senjuro can handle the kids while he checks it out. As he sneaks around the corner he can he was shocked but wasn’t all that surprised. INOSUKE HASHIBARA sitting across the table from MITSURI KANROJI who has also become a 5 year old girl. The both preparing to have an intense arm wrestling match. Sitting on inosuke side was ZENITSU AGATSUMA and on mitsuri side was READER AND NEZUKO KAMADO. Zenitsu only cheers on an overconfident inosuke who puts his arm in the table. He bluffs for a moment until he feels his arm snack down against the table once again, loosing in an instant. Mitusri laughs while reader and nezuko cheer her on. Inosuke stares jaw dropped underneath the mask while zenitsu is shocked and trying not to laugh himself.

A sigh of relief escapes tanjiro lips as he turns to kanao with a much smaller giyu by her side. Things were fine, things would be fine if they had some time to breath and figure things out. Tanjiro takes a breath, until he hears somebody crying. At first he thinks it’s one of the hashira who has turned into a child, only for the sound to be coming from the stone pillar himself. GYOMEI HIMEJIMA with MUICHIRO TOKITO by his side. He weeps as he holds a very small shinobu and kyojuro in his arms while senjuro tries to pay his back to calm him down. While Tanjiro has trust in the stone hashira strength and abilities, he doesn’t know how old he will turn and how strong he’s going to be. Tanjiro simply walks over, making up an excuse to try to take Rengoku and Shinobu out of Gyomei arms. He’s able to grab Kyojuro out of his arms, but the moment he turns he hears muichiro shriek and that’s already enough to tell him what was going on.

Poor poor muichiro who had zoned out while hanging around Gyomei, only to turn and look eye to eye with him. It was not a subtle adjustment he could get used to. Gyomei tries to call him down sensing panic from the boy, who was already confused enough seeing his comrades being shrunken down and running around. Unfortunately, Gyomei aid was not helpful in coming the most pillar down who only stared at him and shinobu who was asleep in his arms. Both Tanjiro, Senjuro and Rengoku were caught off guard by the change to, but mostly by muichiro uncharacteristic screech. Muichiro tried to think of something to say, to do in the moment. Before he’s able to do anything the blood demon art unfortunately catches back up with, Tanjiro watches as Muichiro nearly disappears out of thin air. He has to turn around to see Rengoku picking up a small 1 year old muichiro who looks mildly upset in his arms.

RENGOKU is such a hyperactive child. He’s always happy and always tries to make all the others happy when he can. Even for being so young, he is still somewhat trustworthy and can deal with some of the kids like shinobu, and obanai if needed. Even as a child, Rengoku voice still has volume to it. He can be louder than Gyomei if he gets really excited. He also likes to eat with mitsuri often giving her food if he has any. Giyu sometimes lingers around him if he’s not with Sanemi or Obanai.

MITSURI is such a sweetheart, always happy and always ready to play around. She’s not to troubling to deal with like some of the others, her only issue is she still has the same appetite as she does when she is an adult. So somebody always makes sure to stock up on extra food at all times. Along with this she isn’t even aware of her own strength either, as we seen with her beating Inosuke. He always comes to get a rematch even if he’ll still loose. Obanai tends to linger around her as well.

GYOMEI is the most helpful out of all the hashira and the most attentive out of them. Being the closest to his actual age, and to the rest of the “older” kids age he actually helps out alot. He’s always the one granted supervision if Tanjiro or any of the others are busy because they know they can trust Gyomei. He does take this role very seriously for some reason, he’s put Sanemi and Uzui into a makeshift timeout before because they were trying to do something much to dangerous again.

MUICHIRO is just baby. Not much he can do but sometimes they think he’s the most aware of the situation he’s in. He always has a bored look on his face or an annoyed look if somebody has ticked him off. He’s always very picky about who can hold him. He likes being around Gyomei, Obanai and Rengoku for example but others he might show more signs of boredom. One time Sanemi got to pick him up, he made fun of him a little and Muichiro tried to bite his finger off.

Tanjiro has to call everybody who’s unaffected together. Now having found and seen all the effects have landed on every single hashira they can now make a plan. They’ve found everybody they needed to but they just have to figure out. How are they going to take care of them?

Sometimes Gyutaro can't help but stare at you. He'll space out and just stare at you from a distance. Most of the time he isn't really thinking of anything, but sometimes his mind circles on one question. How did you learn how to love?

It's not the first time he asked himself this. How did you manage to long anyone like him? How can you love anything like him? Just how can you truly love him? He's not stupid he's well aware of how he looks. He knows the whispers and rumors that spread around his hometown when he was human, he knows how dismember his body has come to look like now. He knows about the atrocities he's committed in the past and the present.

He knows you know all of this too, but you still bring him into your loving arms despite all of this.

He just can’t comprehend how you can stare back at him with a sincere look full of of love. You should hate him, despise him even. You should think he’s worth absolutely nothing. A scum of dirt that clings into the bottom of your shoe. But for a reason he can’t understand, you don’t. You don’t stare at his features with disgust, you simply stare at him like he with something more than what he thinks he is.

Gyutaro doubts that his question will ever be answered anyways. His hands are filthy, corrupted and tainted by the barbaric actions he has done in the years that passed by him. Your hands in his mind and pure, still haven’t been tainted by the cruelty in this world. Yet you take a step into uncharted territory by reaching out to grab his, despite the injustice of his actions lingering on his hands. You still take a step to grab them, tracing his veins as if he was normal person like you.

“You’re spacing out again…” His mind snaps back into reality as his eyes regain focus back on you. His most uptight expression previously plastered onto his face softens as he looks away, unable to keep eye contact.

He only grunts not able to put his thoughts into words. Communication what not something gyutaro had practice in, he was learning but he still had a ways left to go. Either way baby steps are still steps after all.

You can only give him a soft smile before sitting up shuffling away out of the bed. Gyutaro turns to face you properly this time, his face filled with slight confusion at your sudden movements. “I’m going to go make some tea” you mumble out, fixing your sock before you can stand up.

Before you do get the chance to properly stand, you feel two arms stink around your chest. Slowly dragging you beneath the covers once again.

“Just stay. Only for a couple more minutes.” Gyutaro says as he mumbles out the last part. You know he’ll have to leave soon for food so you give him the benefit of the doubt.

“Alright, just five more minutes.” You reply caving into his desire as the heavy blanket collapses on top of the two of you.

While Gyutaro couldn’t understand why you would ever give somebody like him your time, and your affection. He couldn’t help to lean into what he thinks is his selfish desire to indulge and accept it. Maybe he’ll let this one time slide. Maybe with you, Gyutaro is slowly learning how to love a little to.

if i had a nickel for the amount of period comfort request i got in the last week it would be two nickels, which isn't alot but its funny it happened twice

In the first two days Genya does not want to bother you during your period.

He heard from some of the older demon slayers that it should be better to give people space during their period. Especially due to their emotions being in a more fragile state. Kym’s best to give them the space they need to reevaluate before reaching back out to them. On the other hand Genya’s words can be blunt without him realizing it and the last thing he wants you to do is be mad at him.

So he gives you his space.. for a little while.

He was primarily raised around males, and when he was in the corps he did not have the strength to even approach somebody about such a private issue. So he only really had the basic knowledge and all the rumors he hears around the corps. He just knows ur feeling bad and in pain during this time of the month and you need space. Shinobu has to be the one to tell him he should check in on you, in person for him to consider it.

He walks up to you doorstep of your room as he can't bring his eyes to look anywhere except his feet. He slowly knocks on the door as he can hear you shuffle around the room before you open it. He turns his head away and shoves a bag in your face with a little note that says, "Kocho told me these would be useful for you during your 'time of the month' i hope they are off some use to you." You can only stare down at the bag for a minute before you invite Genya inside.

He's more surprised you were so willing about letting him in, especially after the rumors and gossip he heard about a couple days before. Nevertheless Genya still believes its right for him to treat you, kocho said you may still be going through cycles of pain so it's the least he can do for you. He starts up some tea, specifically the kind gyomei told him that relaxes the muscles and returns to you who is already back in bed.

he sits on the end of the bed slowly and hands you the tea, making sure you don’t burn your hand near the rim. His hands subconsciously go to rub circles on your back as you sit up, only hesitantly pulling back once you finally lay back down. You both sit in silence for a moment, a comfortable silence but silence none the lesson. Genya looks unnerved as he stares out the window.

“You are positive you are not dying, yes?” Genya blurts out as you turn to stare at him, he does not make eye contact with you out of embarrassment. You almost laugh, almost but you hold it on for his sake. “Yes Genya I promise you I’m fine.” You reply, it soothes you seeing how is shoulders fall down and his body begins to relax. He shifts as you both begin to talk, unsure of the right thing to say about a topic he still doesn’t really know.

He gets up after seeing your nearly finished with your tea, planning to refill yours and to give himself some clarity. Before he can, your voice puts him to a stop, “would you stay with me? Just for a little while” he freezes before turning back to you. You can tell by his facial expression he wants to say ‘really?’ but no words come out of his mouth. You only nod at him before seeing a small smile appear on his face.

He shuffles back over towards your bed as you open up the blanket to let him in. He hesitates but slowly gets into bed with you. Subconsciously his arm wraps around you to bring himself closer to you, as a warm smile appears on your lips. “Ok, I’ll stay.” He mumbles as he watches you slowly drift off to sleep.

TANJIRO would like to raise a dog, standard but oddly fitting for him. I think he would have multiple to be honest, he enjoys breeds that are more active so I would see him with a golden retriever or a Labrador. His pets really like you to!! Almost like he silently taught them to be just like him.

He definitely has dogs that get big but still thinks they are lap dogs 100%. Whenever you come over to his house and sit anywhere it’s a 50% chance a dog will come lay near you, next to you, or usually on top of you. His dogs are kinda spoiled to, he’ll you he scolds them but you caught him giving them treats when he was suppose to one time.

ZENITSU wants something small, not to big and easy to manage. Personally I think he own a bunch of guinea pigs. Very random choice but just hear me out. They remind me of his sparrow, he likes to hold them when he’s around the house. You may see him walking in a thick turtleneck during the summer, but that’s just because his guinea pig is resting in the next area.

They are a little stubborn though, even zenitsu doesn’t know why. They can get mad and almost bit you before, but that’s normally if they haven’t eaten. You don’t what zenitsu feeds them but he definitely has those really thick guinea pigs just for no reason at all. Well there is a reason as you have to invite his guinea pig to the table to eat with you all during dinner. Also obanai is banned from coming over is kaburamaru is tagging along.

INOSUKE probably wants a really unconventional pet, like I bet he tried to convince you to let him get a boar before. In the end he sticks with a dog like tanjiro. Just the breeds are different I bet he wants have to have a doberman or a German Shepard. He wants to train those dogs for war I tell you.

You refused to enter his house for a bit until his dogs get to know you, you preferred keeping in your feet and not getting tackled by his dogs. He likes to play fight with them always playing fetch with them outside. Although besides this you to went a farm that was mixed with a shelter where they have this really small boar. Every time you go there inosuke always spends time without. He named the lil dude megatron.

KANAO I feel like would have a bird of some sorts. A really well trained one as well. Not like a usual house pet but those really expensive exotic birds. She’s trained it and had help from professionals to train it now, it’s at this point where you can almost have full fledged conversation with it. It knows both of your names, the food it likes everything.

Sometimes the bird is unusually smart.. like the time you brought snacks that you and the bird can both eat but kanao never wants you to. When she can back you had everything hidden and the perfect fool proof lie created. Until the bird “coincidentally” said your name and the beaks brand right after. You were the one getting in trouble and her bird face no repercussions.

GENYA is pretty straightforward he just wants a cat. He likes how they’re more chill and calm and sometimes just hang by themselves or with him. also because the cat owning trait was subconsciously influenced by gyomei’s love for cats. It just grew on him eventually. I think I can see him with one of those black and white bicolor cats but I doubt he would care about the breed.

You tend to compare Genya to his cat a lot because of how similar they look in the face. For some reason Genya’s cat just looks mad, all the time. He could be giving it treats and it would just have the more monotone expression on its face. The cat doesn’t mind you though, Genya could be calling it thinking it’s asleep. Only to find it trailing after you while you go to sit on his couch.

You've know Yoriichi ever since your highschool orientation.

High school is a big step compared to middle school, school is much bigger, classes are much more aggressive and everything takes a 180 compared to any school year you've experienced in the past. Thankfully Yoriichi was there to help show you the way.

He was a rising sophomore when he first met you, only being around on that day because he was doing volunteer work. He really just intended to direct you to class, but things seemed to change. You and yoriichi hit it off the bat and he ended up talking to you for the entire time you stayed at orientation. While his name took a while for you to memorize you always knew him as “the long red haired boy” so you wouldn’t forget him.

When school actually starts you tend to notice him a lot more. You’ll see his red hair around the halls, you mistakes him for another long red haired boy in one of your classes. You’ve seen him at dismissal before, and you even share the same lunch. To your surprised the boy is much more reserved than you thought.

The first time you actually talk to him is a couple days after noticing him. You really didn’t think he would remember you at first, besides you didn’t really think he really liked you that much. So you held off, but an opportunity presented itself to you and you hesitantly taken it.

You waved at him as he looked up at you, he beckoned you over to where he was sitting and you started talking. You managed to loose track of time and realize lunch is about to end. Before you to go you give him your phone to get his number, also because you may forgotten his name. He types in Yoriichi on your phone and you make a mental note not to forget.

You definitely didn’t forget his name as time went on.

Time moves fast when your with yoriichi, you two become inseparable. You stick with each other as years pass that you almost forget you’re not the freshman that met yoriichi last week. You’re a junior now preparing for your senior year, while Yoriichi is a senior preparing for his future.

You can’t say you didn’t develop a crush on him as the years past.

You couldn’t blame yourself as yoriichi is an admirable man. He was so smart, he was almost unnervingly kind as well, and despite his brother’s words yoriichi is unbelievable strong. Anybody would have a crush on him once you get to know him. Though you doubt he feels the same about you.

It was a shame he was graduating this year. Just like that he would be gone and you would have to strive by yourself in senior year without him. Including your “casual” crush on him as well.

He had invited you to his graduation as well. Of course you would be there to attend, it would be a crime if you didn’t. You were so proud to see him walk up on stage but you could only bite back the bittersweet feeling that creeped up your throat. You snapped so many pictures of him on the stage, dressed out in his cap and gown.

The moment graduation ended he invited you claiming he needed to talk. Grabbing your hand and bringing you somewhere much quieter, much more private where nobody would be around. You can’t say you weren’t confused.

He only looks away for a moment before looking back at you. “I‘ve been holding this back since the beginning of this year, I know we’re going to be separated so it’s no time to say this except now. I really like you, truly. I always have but it’s shaped from innocent friendship to an innocent crush. I know we have been friends for so long, but I think now we can become more.” Yoriichi says, his words coming out like sweet honey ringing back and forth in your mind.

Oh. Maybe you were wrong about him like you were when you first met him before. I guess he really does like you.
