A discord server for learning and sharing knowledge about creating for The Sims 3.

We invite all creators interested in sharing knowledge of how to create for TS3, and all those who are not yet creators but would like to be to join us and learn.

We now have some testing and feedback channels, and invite non-creators who’d like to help test new projects to join our server!

Just three brief notes you should be aware of before joining us: 1. This is a server is primarily for creators to learn, improve and share knowledge. 2. Those who make a habit of creating conflict will be removed. 3. Testers should be mindful of what feedback has been requested, and not bombard creators with personal requests. 4. Requests of any kind are only allowed when solicited by creators.

Mutual aid request :(

But I paid a lot for my little fluffy friend to stay alive and despite doing the best I've could, my finances are a mess, so I ask the community that gave me so much fun with their CC and pictures and memes for a little help, just for now, for a pick me up. I do have a job, and while it's stable, it's not the best pay around.

Life Updates and Such...

Soooo.... many things! At the moment, I've finally pulled myself somewhat out of the doldrums caused by lack-of-job + job-search-sucks and am making all the preparations for celebrating the end of this year and the start of a new one.

I think I've binged something like 30+ anime series in the last month or so, along with reading many many books.

Today, I've finally got some bots working in the Creator's Cave discord, to make things a bit easier there. There are more updates I still need to do, but it's a start.

My hope for this week, is that in addition to my preparations for New Year's, I'll be able to actually finish my project of turning some of my flower photos into TS3 art. No promises, but I'm hopeful.

Below the cut, for the curious or nosy, the menu and preparations for New Year's.

Before anyone starts to wonder... two of the friends coming to my place for New Year's are really really into Pumpkin, so this is reflected here. Yes, this is probably too much food and drink for... 6 people, but hey... leftovers.

Janas-Creative Archive?

So, I went following a web archive link today for janas-creatives website, which no longer exists. Some of the more recent-ish CC was able to be downloaded via the archive, but there were a few things I was disappointed were not available.

Does an archive for this website already exist somewhere? I checked the usual places, Simscave, Sims Graveyard, DarkCCfinds, various spreadsheets with archives, and wasn't able to find anything.

Dear ktar, I consider you such an important staple of our community! You encourage our community to grow closer, your Discord channel for TS3 creators fosters creativity and helps out so many CC creators! You always have kind words to spare and give great advice. Thank you for everything!

I hope you don't mind this being shared. I nearly cried when reading it, so I really wanted to preserve it for future perusal when I'm feeling down. I'm really bad at reaching out to people myself, so I'm always really touched when someone reaches out to me.

Thank you so much. I never feel like I'm doing enough, and I always feel like I could and should do better, and that I'm not active enough on Tumblr, etc. So thank you. This really means a lot, especially since I hold you in high esteem.

I am forever in your debt both for wonderful patterns and for being someone who isn't afraid to talk about your life struggles here and share them with the rest of us.
