3.11.22 OVER-REFLECTION

We like to tell stories, in the most biological, traditional meaning of storytelling. Our "job" is to always rely on critical analysis to filter and deconstruct them. Although my burden and blessing, once again, is profound over-reflection over absolutely every aspect of our existence as human beings. It seems that Modern Psychology pushes us to reflect on ourselves constantly to achieve a better understanding of our habits, thoughts and behaviour, to ultimately decipher our traumas, desires and unconscious mind. But they never advert that while doing so, we become slaves of the practice and a good portion of what we consider happiness and peace come precisely from less thinking, more "enjoying". So at the end, the correlation between more politically correct behaviour and anguish and unhappiness is evident and incremental. Something that'd ultimately benefit society acting as an economic apparatus?

ONE FOOT IN FRONT OF ANOTHER. Everything is better when the sun comes out. Don't uderstimate the ability to overanalyze everything. It'll be better to just do, not just work, just do. In between of the need to isolate and the inconvinient need for attention/care.

1.11.22 BD - THE Breakdown

Looking at Kanye's situation makes me evaluate my own and the ones of people close to me. It seems that there's no escape, when you're too creative, too bright you are definitely gonna be too mental, at least to the society we're in right now. Where Capitalism values you per your monetary value, productive value, no more than that. Art is and might be financially prosperous but your mental health, chaos and fall are also prosperous to them. I've always been really scared for myself in terms of risking it all for creativity or art, cause I already know the deep ends of that, I got to experience them years ago. The sacrifice you have to make to be creatively successful is either your mental stability or your commitment to true art. It seems that me as well as so many artists, over the past decades,

have sold themselves to the market, period. I have to come into terms that money, status and recognition were more important to me than true creation. But you gotta keep in mind, it was not just that, I don't even know if I'd be still alive if I made a different decision 10 or 15 years ago. Death to me is a place of peace, probably because in my past lives I only found true peace in death. It seems depressing but I find much more depressing living in this current society, I don't wanna be part of it, I wish I didn't. But since I'm already here I have to make a new decision, am I gonna risk it all to be an Artist? A true Artist wiith Capital A.

WHAT DOES FASHION HAVE TO DO WITH ANYTHING?

What does fashion have to do with anything? When you think of it in real terms, fashion (as art) has to do with everything. I'll call it the amalgam society issue. Ok, let's remember when art was whatever the church said it was a.k.a. where the power was concentrated said it was. Well, there it is, guess where the power is located now?

I'll introduce him to you:

Capitalism —— Hey, I might seem corrupt, I might seem comfortable, in different ends I'm both.

We cannot see fashion without seeing a multi-million-dollar industry or art without seeing a massive bubble market, whatever that means.

Now, where does fashion proliferate the most? Social media right? Social media is guilty of the turn from a small circle of people in Paris to just Streetsyle, basically everywhere. It's only normal cause Social media is Capitalism's bitch and the other way around, although I have that strange feeling that someday in the past SM gave to us all a glimpse of hope revealing topics like mental health and fitness, seemingly beneficial topics for humanity.

God forbid I'll ever condemn social media, taking sides is dangerous, regret would bite me down. But to me criticism is crucial, criticism is to my life what a cloud is to the sun, it can change the panoramic for complete.

Anyway, fashion reflects every step society takes, either toward the search of authenticity or either to the constantly increasing desire to accumulate wealth, which in some cases means destroying the environment or having slave employees. Now you see? Two sides of the coin, but if superficiality, frivolity, ambition and evil exist, fashion is not the one to blame.
