HELP SAMEER AND HIS FAMILY 🍉🍉

In Gaza, recent escalations have resulted in the deaths of hundreds in the past days.

They bombed a café, that was supposed to be in a "safe zone" and offered no explanation.

They bombed a school where people were sheltering. Killing 50+ people, including children.

They shoot down aid seekers, over 700 people now, died just trying to get a box of food. The blockade never ended, a small amount of aid just trickled in, and people have died, and have to risk their life, or they starve.

In Gaza, people are in a constant state of trauma, the trauma is continuous and never stops. The term "PTSD" dosent even fit, since there is no post, the trauma is chronic.

People are still dying, even after living a life of misery for the last two years. As explained in this post, Sameer's aunt had unfortunately lost her son, and she is grieving, and in pain. She hasn't stopped crying, and visits his grave regularly, she has nothing, no source of income. Her husband is elderly and cannot work. Sameer wants us to help her.

And on top of this, his grandmother is sick, with heart disease, diabetes, and is malnourished on top of that. She needs treatment.

People in Gaza are bereaved and suffering, people have lost tens, even hundreds of family members. Supporting families can save lives, so they can start from scratch and rebuild their lives from the ground up. And also buy food and other basic necessities that most people don't even have to think twice about.

Could you imagine the pain and humiliation of being reliant on a fundraiser? Please do what you can for Sameer and his family.

A Gazan’s gaze at a loaf of bread is like no other…

It’s not just a glance at food — it’s a glimpse of life pulled from the jaws of hunger, of dignity reclaimed from the ruins, of a long‑delayed hope that feels like a mother’s embrace calming a frightened child.

The world may see a loaf of bread as a commodity, aid, or a number in a report.

But here in #Gaza, a father sees a small victory over death, a mother sees the warmth of a table that has lost almost everything, and a family sees a fragile roof over a house with no walls.

Each loaf a child eats here is praised a hundred times over, because reaching it feels like surviving certain death, like pulling a life from under the rubble, like beating the flames of bombing and starvation for one more night.

This is the reality for my family, trying to survive one day at a time, one loaf at a time, one dream at a time, amid a siege, destruction, and a long, merciless war.

I have nothing to offer but this plea from the heart — for those who still value humanity, for those who can help.

Have you ever felt the pain of loss? Have you lost someone close to you, someone dear to your heart? Have you lost a family member? I hope you haven’t, but for my family and me, it’s our daily reality. Every single day, without exaggeration, we lose someone we love.

Last week, I lost my uncle, my mother’s brother. He was walking down the street, just like anyone else, when he was struck by a missile from a drone. And today, we lost more loved ones—my uncle and his son. They were sitting together in a home that had already been destroyed by the Zionist war machine. Not only was the house obliterated, but its residents were killed as well.

I don’t think this genocide will stop here. Even at this moment, more people continue to die. The number of martyrs has exceeded 50,000, not including those still trapped beneath the rubble. We might be the next names added to the list of the dead.
