Had a wonderful time at Fanime 2017 this year! Lots of ups and downs happened.. but I tried not to let it ruin my good time! Wondering if anyone caught a glimpse of my Elizabeth Midford cosplay on Saturday..? For a short time I was with my precious CIel! Hoping to wear this costume to the opening of the Book of the Atlantic!

Sweet nibblets, this Fanime was freaking fantastic! I’m still obtaining pictures here and there, but here’s my showcased cosplay this year! Cinderella did well out in the field. I made dreams come true for children, and enjoyed looking at the many other fantastic cosplays. I’m so happy to see more young kids come to Fanime this year. I’m even more happy that Disney cosplayers everywhere are making such a wide appearance. Thanks to everyone who supported my cosplay! By taking a photo with me, or just by giving a gentle comment. It made me very happy <3

Dreams. Things we know aren’t in our reach, but very possible to achieve.

Dreaming is something I never want to see expire. Everyone should have a dream, a goal, a drive to pursue something even if it seems like it’s impossible. Unfortunately, these days dreamers are criticized as unrealistic thinkers. Artists are shamed and tagged as people without a real career. But I find it amazing. That someone can see something in a different light, and materialize it for others to see. However, not everyone understands art, or understands the meaning behind it. I think those kind of people lack dreams the most. Maybe they’ve succeeded and dremt so much that they have nothing left to dream for. Or maybe they don’t know what to dream, because they don’t know what they want for them-self. Or maybe they don’t know what makes them happy, or will make them happy. I dream that those realistic thinkers will find a dream, and behind it, the answers to their most critical questions.

I have accomplished one of my dreams for cosplaying as Chibiusa-!! I still have many more dream characters, but i'll walk those paths as i cross them. <3 I must admit, i don't make my costumes. Sometimes the fact that i can't sew, makes me think of myself as a person who dresses up, versus a cosplayer... But thanks to the support of my best friend, lyddiecosplay, and many other friends, i've still come a long way and feel more proud of myself than i ever had. Even though i can't sew, nor have anyone who can teach me at the moment, i did teach myself how to craft weapons, and make accessories, as well as styling wigs. Therefore, i'm proud to consider myself a cosplayer. And anyone who thinks less of me for not making my costumes, can keep it to themselves, because nothing will change my mind about how i feel. <3 #sailormoon #sailormoonco
