MAJOR MAJOR ENA BBQ DREAM SPOILERS READ AT UR OWN RISK

What do you think ENA did that was so unforgivable and sinful?

Through the game ENA seems to have a reputation for being horrible and everyone sees to have an issue with her/hate her. Even in the secret bathroom the Genie tells her she is unforgivable and no suffering is good enough for her.

So this could be a throw away joke like “everyone hates Chris/ena” but my personal theory?

I think ENA is responsible for the destruction of a door. Possibly the dog door.

I believe this because the world ENA is in now is entirely different from the one we recognize in the videos(assuming that universe and those events are canon to the game)

In temptation stairway we know Moonie and ENA got to make a wish- we saw Moonie’s but never heard ENA’s. It’s implied from that video and the following one ENA potluck special - that ENA wished for happiness of some kind.

But we know as she tries to wish of the same thing from the bathroom genie ENA is told she cannot change the natural order of things. Implying she can never be happy/isn’t allowed to be happy.

So does that mean when she made that wish the genie self destructed? We know when a genie isn’t working or healthy the door closing can lead to dangerous consequences such as mass death as we see when ENA can’t escape the lonely door in time.

So it would make sense if ENA wished for the impossible and ended up taking the world down with her. Making her unforgivable.

That’s what I think anyway.

My advice for my fellow ao3 writers

You should always put an estimated number for how many chapters you will write. You don't have to follow it if you don't want to, you can always change the number- it's not permanent

But it motivates me to follow my plot and map it out

Like okay I'm on chapter 17 out of 47 and I gotta include this slow burn here and this plot point and mystery here and it's like okay I can do all that in like chapter 26 and be chill

I’m working on a simulation AU of DrV3 Killing Game Harmony

I know what you’re thinking, “leave that shit in 2020”, “I’ve read enough simulations AU” and I’m here to tell you that this one is probably extremely drastically different from the ones you’ve read

Cause firstly, it’s being written in 2025 where I’m well aware of how problematic the cast is

And secondly, it’s based HEAVILY off of the current gameplay done by the Game Grumps( Dan and Arin)

I just find so much joy and humor in the way they portray the characters in their run through of the game and greatly appreciate how seriously the game takes itself and how seriously(or unseriously) they take it

im going back in time to the first than-

So because rewriting shit is my jam - I decided to go down the rabbit hole to a phase I was in 2015, with total drama.

At the time, my favorite character back then, and still today is: Mike. He just the most entertaining yknow? Well now that its 2025 - and ive done a shit ton of research on DID(Dissociative Identity Disorder) I realize just how,, interesting of representation he is

Like he's not the worst

but he is defo not perfect what so ever.

There's a few things they got right - Like Mike will black out when an alter takes front and then not remember anything that happened say while Chester is fronting? But the way he switches out is TOTALLY WRONG You dont just take a breath and suddenly it's an alter. And especially the "triggers" for these alters are also just incorrect too.

Manitoba can front in a situation WITHOUT needing a stupid ass fedora. There could have been many scenarios after his introduction where he fronted. Same with Svetlana and vito and Chester.

So I've been rewriting Mike and fixing him in my spare time for fun - i dont think ill be making a fic on it cause im already doing so much on my account anyway - BUT

THIS POST IS ABOUT HOW BADLY THE WRITERS SCREWED UP TOTAL DRAMA ALL STARS

OKAY- so Revenge of the island is literally my favorite season ever because I like that cast way more than the old ones. They were just more interesting and less stereotypical? And one dimensional? I guess- Mike and Zoey in particular were my favorites and caught my eye.

BUT with total drama all stars, im pretty sure the point of it was to return everyone/the audience's fan favorites. So that explains why Mike is there right-

But like

They did my boy so dirty. Firstly, they could've taken this opportunity to focus more on Mike's personality rather than his alters. Because that's what made him so interesting to everyone else- because no one had heard of DID that much back then so seeing it represented in a character was so crazy right-

Even if they didn't do it right, and when they brought Mike back they could have totally worked on him more. Sometime after season 4, Mike and Zoey became offical so like - what was that about??? Mike has only expressed his interest in wanting to seem normal to the public, impress zoey, his love for ultimate kick boxing and action movies. Which also leads me to believe Mike does boxing in his spare time which is why he kicked Izzy's ass. But I digress-

There was just so much to fix and change about all stars - number one being

What the fuck Cameron? In season 4 Cam wasn't perfect but he was the first to figure out Mike's secret and offered to help him and he was doing pretty well too - and they were good friends.

But in All Stars the second Zoey mentions what Duncan told her about Mal and how it wasn't Mike who did all these terrible things and broke stuff but a different alter- CAMERON WAS IMMEIDATELY LIKE

"NAH I DONT THINK SO. I JUST THINK MIKE MY BEST FRIEND IS A HORRIBLE PERSON AND A LIAR."

LIEK WHAT

WHAT DO YOU MEAN??? THAT'S YOUR FRIEND WHO YOU KNOW HAS DID DOING OUT OF CHARACTER SHIT- AND YOU JUST THINK- Nah ive been lied to this whole time and mike is actually mal and hes been faking everything

And then when Duncan told Zoey of Mal instead of confronting her boyfriend LIKE SHE SHOULD HAVE- she just went to cameron and essentially ditched the idea once cameron said his very incorrect opinion.

like what the hell

how different could the story have gone if Zoey confronted Mal right then and there. It actually, I believe, could've saved the series from it's already shitty downhill script.

ALSO, YOURE DATING SOMEONE WITH DID. HOW DO YOU NOT THINK TO DO SOME RESEARCH ON THE DISORDER? ITS NOT MIKES RESPONSIBILITY TO EXPLAIN EVERYTHING TO YOU. YOU SHOULD AT LEAST KNOW WHO TF YOUR BOYFRIEND IS AND WHEN YOU'RE TALKING TO AN ALTER/SOMEONE ELSE.

ESP WHEN YOU CONFRONT HIM AND HE SAYS HE HAS NO CLUE WHAT YOURE REFERING TO.

LIKE THAT SHOULD BE THE BIGGEST RED FLAG RIGHT THERE. HOW CAN MIKE FORGET SOMETHING THAT JUST HAPPENED UNLESS IT WASN'T MIKE DOING IT-

There's many people who found Mike and Zoey annoying but you know what was annoying? That weird love triangle with gwen courtney and duncan. THAT dragged on too long and was unnecessary.

What could have also been fantastic - if they knew how to write someone with DID - Mal is essentially the primary and only prosecutor of the system. So he has absolutely no reason to be against Mike or want to ruin his life. In fact, Mal's only motivation seems to be to get everyone voted off and win

that's the point of the show.

They essentially wanted to make Mike a villain for no reason, so they copied Scott's plan from the previous season and pasted it onto Mike.

How it could've been done is Duncan recognizes Mike/Mal and tries to ruin his rep. Mal hating that theyre back on this dangerous show and wanting to protect Mike occassionally fronts to cause chaos, pin it on duncan get him off, Alejandro finds out mal's identity, more framing and black mailing

And maybe Zoey and Cameron figure it out too - but theyre off limits for mike's sake? So Mal is forced to keep them around and only get rid of threats who threaten to expose his identity.

THAT OR? JUST DONT INCLUDE MAL IN THE SERIES AT ALL? LIKE- I have him in my rewrites, but as I was studying and doing all of this research and rewatching and rewriting... Mal doesnt really need to be here.

Vito does the same shit Mal does, just to a less extreme. Also we dont need to make every teenager on total drama evil. Mal is cool but cringey lowkey and unnecessary too.

ALSO IF CHRIS WAS GONNA DO TEAM SWAPS

ALOT?

HOW COOL WOULD IT HAVE BEEN FOR MIKE TO STAY A HERO, BUT CHRIS PUTS MAL ON THE VILLAINS TEAM.

SO WHENEVER MIKE FRONTS HES WITH THE HEROES BUT THE DUALITY OF MAL BEING ON THE VILLAINS TEAM? LIKE THAT WOULDVE BEEN SO COOL TOO

There's just so much about Mike and about how horrble all stars was that can be fixed, I needed to get this tangent out there

She didn’t wanna be Odysseus’s “friend” she wanted him to be her husband- and actually ***aulted him when he tried to escape.

When he told her he has a wife and he clearly misses her cause Ody dreams abt Penelope - Calypso is like “forget abt her and stay here forever with me”

I mean I don’t mind if you find her charming but she did a bad thing and wasn’t sorry about it either-

She only let him go because Zeus demanded it and Hermes told her to.

It’s the fact that Nina used to be human, literally broke no laws and did nothing wrong, left society because she knew she was different and lived her life moderately at peace minding her own business

And the fucking government fbi or whatever come in, take her out of her environment, kill her father right in front of her, and throw her in jail solely because she looks different.

Im fully on the bride’s side throughout it all- they’re only going to see them as monsters no matter who they are or what they do.

And yeah Weasel also did literally nothing wrong either as far as creature commando shows but Nina’s backstory got to me more

Spoilers for TAZ Suffering Game GN

And spoilers for anyone who hasn’t finished the podcast

The foreshadowing is beautifully done-

In the comic especially since Magnus is the first one sent to the astral plane in the suffering game comic - and it’s Taako who is the first to act and save him.

The parallel in that scene being Magnus being crushed by the mirror and his soul about to be ripped from his body before Taako rushes in (pun not intended) and uses his shield to protect him-

And then in Suffering game he departs from his own body in the astral plane and goes to retrieve Magnus.

PODCAST WISE—

It’s implied and from what I remember out of all the seven birds, Magnus is the one who passed away (from old age) first.

And yeah Legion was threatening Magnus but as a podcast listener rereading this is just like OH MYYY GODDDD
