STOP USING PALO SANTO
Tumblr media
“Palo Santo, also known as Holy Wood, has officially been marked endangered by the United Plant Savers Medical Plant Conservation. THERE IS A JAW DROPPING LESS THAN 250 MATURE ADULT TREES (ones fully capable of proving the beloved cleansing tool) left in the wild and the amount only continues to drop as these huge manufacturers cut them down to profit off the sacred cultures that even made this tree ‘popular.’ The more these ancient and respected trees are being over harvested the faster it will approach extinction.” (Source and more info here)

A little ask for assistance
I found out this morning that last night someone stole the catalytic converter to my car. This is extremely expensive to replace (which luckily my dad is a mechanic and can replace himself) but the part itself is...very pricey.
So I want to announce again that I am open for art commissions. Info is below:
Tumblr media
I am also open for regular commissions as well!

absolutely love this. what a brilliant first spell OP! i’ll be sure to let you know the results if i use this at a later date!
Dance Fucker Dance
Tumblr media
This spell is inspired by the song “You’re Gonna Go Far Kid” by The Offspring.
—–
A banishing, revenge, and binding spell designed to speed up karma on a person who did you a wrong, tripping up their life and forcing them into a downward spiral.
Note 1: This spell is still able to be edited upon, so feel free to tell me any changes you would/do make, and tell me how they would be better so I can better understand how to write the best spells I can.
Note 2: The spell is best done on a Saturday, the day of binding.
Note 3: Thank you, @strangesigils, for your help with finding components for the sigil, and with checking on the basic design of the spell!
—–
Necessary Ingredients:
1. A poppet
2. A tag lock (a photo or name on white paper)
3. A black marker (black is the primary color that corresponds with Banishing)
4. Two (2) pins
5. Something you can play music from
—–
Steps to the spell:
1. Play the song “You’re Gonna Go Far Kid” by The Offspring.
2. Draw sigil (shown above) on the back of the tag lock in black marker, and charge it with the intent of the spell.
3. Using one of the pins, stab the tag lock, making sure it goes through the sigil to activate it, and pin it to the “chest” of the poppet, visualizing the wrong doer.
4. Say “Dance fucker dance” and stab the second pin between the “eyes” of the poppet.
—–
Please tell me how the spell works out for you if you try it out! It’s my first time writing one, and even with help, I’m a little nervous about how the spell will work out for various witches who utilize it!

Sleep tight, Sweetheart
a spell to prevent intrusive thoughts from affecting your sleep. use at time of need, adapt as desired!
Tumblr media
you may want to use:
a crystal that grounds you (i use amethyst and moss agate)
a blue (or white) candle
pen and paper
Tumblr media
1. open a window, stretch out your body and then sit on a floor. place your candle in front of you and chosen crystal/s close by.
2. as you light the candle say ‘i invite healing energy into this room’. when the energy feels lighter proceed to the next step.
3. write down the thoughts that are preventing you from resting and set them aside.
4. say these words:
‘i accept these thoughts and have payed them mind but now is not the time. steady the beating of my heart and grant me peace tonight so that i may rise to see the world in a better light.’
5. take the paper and and tear it up into tiny pieces, as you do this your intent should be accepting rather than focused on banishment. by accepting that they are just thoughts helps you to gain control over the intrusions.
6. scatter the paper into the wind or burn it to finish the spell.
hope this helps you as it has me! lots of love and well wishes, Runa x

Crow’s Warding Ritual
Tumblr media
This is the first ritual that I have created so there might be some revisions as I perfect it over time, but I wanted to get it out here so that other witches can see it and draw inspiration from it or give me some helpful tips on ways to really strengthen it.
Supplies
Chalice or any other cup
Water
Salt
Black Tourmaline (raw or tumbled)
A crystal that you feel represents you
Selenite (I used my wand)
Incense/Sage
Pen and Paper
Creating the Sigil
When I was originally planning this ritual, I was going to use salt water and draw the sigil I created on the walls, windows, mirrors, and above the doorframes. But as it turns out, the sigils didn’t exactly fade away and I can’t really have sigils visible on all of the walls or it would freak my family out. So plan B.
I used the phrase “Anyone that I approve of in this house will be protected from any entity that I deem harmful.” I know it’s a mouthful, but I wanted the people I live with to be protected too. After removing all of the vowels and double consonants, I used my sigil creation chart to convert the letters to numbers then went around my sigil wheel to get the sigil that I used.
Charging the Water
You can fill your cup up with any water you wish to use. I used regular tap water. I then put my cup behind my sigil and created a circle around them with salt and placed my black tourmaline and amethyst on the salt circle. I put my selenite wand behind everything to get everything charging. I let that sit while I lit my white sage incense in all of the rooms I planned on warding and centered and grounded.
Warding
After I finished centering, I put the tourmaline and the sigil in my pocket, grabbed the water, and started at one side of my house. Note: Before you actually begin open one window so any negativity has an exit.  I would dip my fingers in the water, trace the doorframe, then put my hand (palm forward) against the door, and press my energy into it while thinking the phrase used for the sigil. I repeated this for all doorframes, windows, and mirrors. When it came to walls, ceilings, and floors, I would dip my fingers in the water and focus my intent as I flicked the water around. After I went through the whole house, I used my selenite wand to “activate” it. I visualized energy coming from the end and powering up the water lines; forcing them to spread until all of the walls, floors, and ceilings were covered in a protective energy. I said my intent loudly, which was kind of improvised but here’s how it pretty much went:
“I activate my ward to keep everyone that I approve of in this house safe from what I deem harmful. Any negativity that is here may proceed to the window and exit this house; never to return unless given explicit permission.”
After you feel that everything is properly warded, close the window and wave your wand over it saying:
“I seal this exit which has now become warded. None shall enter here.”
It’s important to notify that the warding is finished. I don’t have a bell or anything so I just said that the ward is completed.
Cleanup
I threw away the salt that I used just because I didn’t want to mix salt that might have absorbed some energies with the regular salt. I put my crystals away in my little witches box and just dumbed the water down the drain. If any incense is still burning, just let it finish then dispose of the ashes, I keep my ashes so I just put them in my jar. I burnt the sigil afterwards and I just threw away the ashes.
Re-Energizing
This requires a lot of energy work so you’ll be worn out afterwards. I know I am. You can either ground again or, what I did, make yourself a cup of tea and a little snack just to balance yourself out.
Notes
You can add some extra oomph by crystal infused water, using moon water, or adding herbs to your water.
You can also strengthen your wards by doing them according to day and time correspondences.
If you’re using sage instead of incense, you can just waft it around your house instead of letting it sit and burn.
Don’t forget about the floor and ceilings.
Make sure that the energy is malleable instead of rigid. Rigid things break a lot easier.
When activating your ward, be sure to envision the energy filling up the room too.
If anyone would like to learn about anything mentioned in this post, just shoot me a pm or ask!

Death will always have a seat at my table. though the pain of grieving is beyond awful, though the pain of missing someone physically is so much, how could i ever resent someone who mirrors life?
“Don’t Work with Death!”
“Don’t work with death, because then you invite it into your house.”
Death is already in my house. Death is everywhere. Death is what decays the plant matter that feeds my garden. Death is what feeds the herbs I use in my spells, for each grows from what died before it.
Death is what feeds my family - death of plants, the death of animals. I would not disrespect the spirits of that which feeds us by ignoring their sacrifice.
Death is the veil between my ancestors and myself, keeping them at rest and then acting as the gate for them to step into their next life.
When I do hospice work and sit with someone who is accepting their approaching death, I don’t tell them death is something to fear or avoid. I tell them death is the friend that walked beside them, every step of their life, maintaining the balance of the world, and waiting for them with open arms, to escort them to rebirth.
“Don’t work with death!”
I would not ignore life’s partner, not for arrogance or fear or ignorance. When I go to my own, I want to greet death with respect, acceptance, and gratitude.
