Good morning! I’m salty.
I think we, as a general community, need to start taking this little moment more seriously.
This, right here? This is asking for consent. It’s a legal necessity, yes, but it is also you, the reader, actively consenting to see adult content; and in doing so, saying that you are of an age to see it, and that you’re emotionally capable of handling it.
You find the content you find behind this warning disgusting, horrifying, upsetting, triggering? You consented. You said you could handle it, and you were able to back out at any time. You take responsibility for yourself when you click through this, and so long as the creator used warnings and tags correctly, you bear full responsibility for its impact on you.
“Children are going to lie about their age” is probably true, but that’s the problem of them and the people who are responsible for them, not the people that they lie to.
If you’re not prepared to see adult content, created by and for adults, don’t fucking click through this. And if you do, for all that’s holy, don’t blame anyone else for it.

Never Forget the Reign of Terror waged against Muslims (and by extension, Sikhs profiled as being Muslim) in the nearly two decades following 9/11.

does anyone else see taylor swift’s “the way i loved you” as a sort of lesbian pride anthem? notice that she talks about her boyfriend and says she has no feelings for him even though he’s perfect, but she really loved this other person and felt roller coaster feelings for them (she never specified the gender of her ex, so that’s why i sort of think of it as a lesbian pride anthem.)
I am in no way saying that Taylor Swift is gay and that is none of my business, I’m basically just saying that I love that song.

Same disabled anon again: apology accepted. I recommend looking at disability blogs by disabled people as a good starting point. The community is really diverse, so there's a lot to learn! Best of luck :)
Oh thanks! I know it's so diverse, people with disabilities are very diverse, even more diverse than those without disabilities. There are all different types and levels of abilities as well as all different kinds of people, Black, Asian, white, Hispanic, and all other colors and ethnicity, plus I know it crosses over with LGBTQ+. I already looked at some stories from those with learning disabilities such as dyslexia and ADHD, and I will definitely look at blogs by disabled people.
Thank you again, anon, for teaching me so much about the disabled community!

As a disabled person, I must ask that you think twice before posting stuff like that? Disabled isnt a bad word. We dont have to be sweet and angelic to deserve basic human rights. We dont need to find love in an abled-normative way. We can speak for ourselves, thank you. Listen to actual disabled people instead of infantilizing them and maybe you'll learn to see us as People. *you* are part of the problem. I wish you all the best in educating yourself, since I'm sure malice wasn't your intention
Oh! I'm so sorry if I offended you (or anyone). I know I should educate myself more. I have met some people with special needs/disabilities, but I know I was over-generalizing it. I have a slight disability myself and I was just sharing my experiences and my point of view on things I have experienced having a disability. I can tell you I definitely see you as people, NOT objects or infants. And you definitely deserve basic human rights. I agree with everything you said there and I'm very sorry if I said some things the wrong way. I think maybe you took some of the things I said differently than I thought people would. Definitely, malice is not my intention and I can assure you that I have only good intentions and I am only trying to help people with disabilities. You definitely educated me and gave me a different perspective on disabilities, so thank you for that. I will definitely educate myself more!

you know what really sucks? when people with special needs say that they have a disability because they have been told that their whole lives. I guess it doesn’t bother them, and if it doesn’t that’s fine. But if you’re made fun of and told that you have a disability, know that you are perfect just the way you are and there are people who will love you just the way you are. You just have to find them. And even the word disability sucks because it’s focusing on what people can’t do, instead of what they can do. I’ve met people with special needs. Sure, there were some things they couldn’t do, but they are some of the kindest people I’ve ever met. They just have the biggest hearts and most positive attitudes. If you have befriended someone with special needs, you know what I’m talking about. And if you have you are a wonderful human being who has done what most people don’t dare to do. Honestly, the way people just ignore those who are differently-abled is just heartbreaking.
Some of the worst (and most widely believed) bullshit that’s put out there is that people with special needs are incapable of romantic love and/or sexual attraction. Yes, people with special needs need extra help. But they can fall in love, just the same as those without special needs. And with the right person, they can have a long, happy life with their partner.

find someone who looks at you the way zayn looks at liam
also: if you know the answer to this comment down below. in the hashtags if you write ziam it suggests that you put ziam manip. is that short for ziam manipulation or is manip another ship name for them, like a cross between payne and malik?
sorry if thats a stupid question
