Lesser Known Asteroids for Synastry and Composite Charts - PART 8 - Quasimodo and Agnès/Esmerelda

Boundaries between friendship and love, protectiveness

Based on Victor Hugo's The Hunchback of Notre-Dame

The Asteroids:

The Story:

Esmerelda, born Agnès, is a beautiful and seductive French-Romani dancer with a kind heart.

Quasimodo is the deformed Romani bell ringer of the Notre Dame cathedral with a good heart.

Agnès and Quasimodo are switched as infants by Romani gypsies who want to be rid of the hideousness of Quasimodo in favor of an able-bodied child.

Quasimodo is abandoned at Notre Dame cathedral, where he grows up under the care and tutelage of Archdeacon Claude Frollo.

Frollo becomes infatuated with Esmerelda and orders Quasimodo to kidnap her.

Captain Phoebus rescues Esmerelda from the kidnapping, and Esmerelda becomes obsessed with Phoebus. Quasimodo is sentenced to public humiliation and abuse.

Esmerelda pities Quasimodo and gives him water, after which Quasimodo falls in love with her.

Phoebus pretends to be in love with Esmerelda so he can take advantage of her. He dies at Frollo's hands in a jealous rage.

Frollo becomes possessive and obsessed with having Esmerelda but cannot have her.

Quasimodo becomes protective of Esmerelda but cannot show his love to her outright as he does not dare think someone like her could love him.

Ultimately, Esmerelda is executed under Frollo's orders, Quasimodo kills Frollo, and he starves himself to death while holding her.

Possible Outcomes for this Couple

This is a story of two people whose lives are intertwined by fate and shaped inextricably by the abuses of society and specific individuals.

We first have to understand the relationship between Quasimodo and Agnès or Esmerelda. Theirs is not a story of a grand romance. Both characters live within the confines of their situations. Orphaned, manipulated, misunderstood. They both come from low backgrounds, but seeing eye-to-eye still takes time. Eventually, Esmerelda learns to look past Quasimodo's physical appearance and see that he is a good person. Quasimodo sees how vulnerable Esmerelda is and wants to protect her.

Esmerelda, however, sees Quasimodo more as a friend, whereas Quasimodo loves Esmerelda as both a friend and romantic interest. They do not cross the boundaries of friendship.

I can see this couple tiptoeing between friendship and romantic love. It's not quite purely platonic but not a full-blown romance, either.

They may feel protective of each other. Protecting, saving, and standing up for each other against others. One person may even be self-sacrificial for the other.

One person may show their love through acts of service. They become conscious of the other's well-being and make it their main priority to make them feel safe.

Being together feels like a quiet respite from the outside world. Appearances are no longer as important as appreciating each other's inner selves.

I have Diana (above) and Selene conjunct with each other and my Neptune and sextile Saturn. Saturn sextile Neptune could refer to materialization. My ideas may be best developed at night (?) under the moon (?)

Named after Hecate, the Greek goddess of crossroads, entryways, magic, witchcraft, the night, and the Moon

She is depicted with three bodies; all-seeing, transitional, liminal

A triple deity associated with the moon (Selene, Luna), hunting (Artemis, Diana), and herself as the underworld

Associated with dogs as well (thinking dogs and wolves howling at the moon)

Mercury Return and Venus Return

My Mercury Return occurred on 2/13/23. My Venus Return occurred on 2/28/23.

Did I feel any different on these days? Did anything happen to me?

Just by looking at the dates, you could conjure up a story about me meeting someone around Valentine’s Day, and then 2 weeks later, it’s official. 

Not surprisingly, this didn’t happen and I’m not even mad about it 😂 

My Findings

Both returns came and went without any BIG events. 

However, I do recall feeling more connected around Valentine’s Day with my coworkers. I was talking with more ease and spoke more confidently. Cracked a joke here and there haha. Could be attributed to my Mercury Return?

I also completed a project that required a lot of writing and editing at work that took SO LONG and was quite frankly a burden. That project was riddled with low-key drama involving a couple of coworkers but I sent my file out and said IT’S DONE, GOODBYE, DO WHAT YOU WANT WITH IT. 

I am being introduced to a lot more people at work these days, which could be my Venus return. But I feel as though this has been happening even before so can’t attribute this solely to my return. In fact, I feel much less social the past week. I have less patience with people and I just want to get my work done and go home. These feelings are not typically Venusian but is it because my natal Venus is not very Venusian?

My Venus: Aries, 8th House, trine Pluto, contra parallel Saturn

Whereas my Mercury is more "comfortable," so to speak. So, 2/13 passed by with more ease and closure regarding communication.

My Mercury: Aquarius, 6th House, conjunct Uranus/Neptune, sextile Pluto

Overall, my findings are inconclusive. Just being honest here.

I didn't experience anything exceptionally Mercurial or Venusian in nature. But I felt my Mercury Return more than my Venus Return. MAYBE this is because Mercury is more significant in my chart than Venus is.

Pluto conjunct natal Mercury-Uranus-Neptune

Pluto has been transiting my natal Mercury, Uranus, and Neptune since 2020. As of 2023, it is moving away from natal Neptune and towards natal Uranus and Mercury.

Neptune in Capricorn 26 degrees in 5th house [natal]

Uranus in Aquarius 2 degrees in 6th house [natal]

Mercury in Aquarius 3 degrees in 6th house[natal]

When Pluto was close to my Neptune, I happened to start or end a creative endeavor. Or, something about the event was Neptunian/Piscean in nature.

Going into 2023, there is a shift from Neptunian events to more Uranian and Mercurial ones.

Notice that until 2023, the events are creativity (Neptune) and hobby (5th house) related. Starting from 2023, my Mercury-Uranus in 6th house conjunction is getting more attention. My sudden job change and the nature of that job are examples of this.

2020

5/12/20 - First day of working out regularly by following YouTube videos. I was working out every day for almost 2 hours. I had NEVER worked out before this. For several months after, I was obsessed with working out; it was therapeutic to me.

3/23/21 - I made a journal entry this day that I was seriously thinking of going into animation and coding.

6/6/21 - Last day of UX/UI design online course

6/7/21 - The day after, I started my first day of 3D animation class. Pluto is EXACTLY conjunct my natal Neptune on this day.

6/23/21 - I attempted a no-fish-and-seafood diet ❌🐟🦀❌ after watching a documentary about our negative impact on the ecosystem due to overfishing and overconsumption of fish/seafood. Failed, but I really tried.

2022

3/16/22 - Hit with a major internal crisis. Issues from the past came back, and I didn't know where I was headed in life. Felt very uncertain about what I was doing in life.

3/29/22 - Last day of 3D animation class.

6/20/22 - The day I started my Tumblr blog littledigest. Pluto was also opposite natal asteroid Educatio (2440); seems appropriate as I am giving my experiences and take on astrology through this blog.

7/10/22 - The day I reached 100 followers on Tumblr

8/7/22 - I visited a local psychic fair with my mom and sister. 🔮 We've never gone out of our way to go to anything like this before.

10/3/22 - I learned how to use a sewing machine. Making clothes was something that I had been DREAMING about for so long. Did I continue? No, but I'm sure I'll go back to it someday.

11/22/22 - Introduced to a job position that seemed completely out of my league. I wasn't even job searching, but this landed on my lap out of nowhere. Had nothing to do with the job I was doing at the time.

12/12/22 - I got a call back that I got the job. Found out I will be earning a lot more than in my previous job 🤑. Pluto was also square natal asteroid Destinn (6583). Don't know if this job is my DESTINY, but interesting...Maybe I'm on the right path?

2023

1/6/23 - Last day of old job; got a new haircut in the city after work. 💇‍♀️ Realized this was the first time I went to get a haircut on my own IN MY ENTIRE LIFE. Prob not significant to you, but it was bonkers to me. How have I never gotten a haircut on my own before?

1/9/23 - First day of my new job. Transit Uranus is conjunct my natal midheaven too. I'm no longer 100% remote; I have to go into the office; my whole routine has changed. This new job of mine is an admin position but for a technology department. [Uranian]

2/8/23 - Met with superior. Afterward, manager tells me superior wants me to work with them on data work. My work becomes less about admin duties. [Mercurial/Uranian]

2/18/23 - Played a gambling card game with my family for the first time and won. Pluto also square natal asteroid Las Vegas (82332). Not Vegas but won some money 💵. [Neptunian/Uranian]

2/26/23 - started this Long Game project on littledigest. Pluto also inconjunct natal asteroid Discovery (9770). I hope this project uncovers something special! [Mercurial/Uranian/Neptunian]

Pluto will enter Aquarius for the first time since the late 1700s on March 23, 2023. It will retrograde back and forth between Capricorn and Aquarius until officially settling into Aquarius on November 19, 2024. Pluto in Aquarius will last until March 9, 2043.

Q: Why am I using myself as an experiment?

A: I am a major Aquarian.

Analyzing the Charts of Well-Known Beauties - Beauty Indicators?

Here's a second "study" on beauty in astrology. This time, the women in this study are from different backgrounds and races. All are still alive today, but their career peaks were at different times.

I compiled this list based on people whose beauty made a strong impression on me when I first saw them in photos, movies, etc. This "study" is still biased since my perception of beauty may differ from others.

Aishwarya Rai (Bollywood actress, Miss World 1994)

Monica Bellucci (Italian actress, model)

Han Ga In (Korean actress)

Erika Linder (Swedish androgynous model, actress)

Winona Ryder (American actress)

Duckie Thot (South Sudanese-Australian model)

Lee Young Ae (Korean actress)

Anok Yai (South Sudanese-American model)

MOST COMMON SIGN AMONG PERSONAL PLANETS:

Scorpio and Sagittarius tie for first place with 8 planets each.

Libra and Aquarius tie for second place with 6 planets each.

The least common signs are Gemini (2), Cancer (2), and Pisces (2).

Scorpio is a seductive and deep sign. Sagittarius is a modern and youthful sign.

Libra is a balanced and feminine sign. Aquarius is a striking and unique sign.

Strangely, Pisces appeared in only 2 planets: Erika Linder's Mars and Winona Ryder's Moon (birth time not accurate). This starkly contrasts with my first Golden Age of Hollywood beauty study, where Pisces was the most common sign featured in all 4 charts.

However, both studies have Scorpio as a top sign.

Perhaps the Golden Age of Hollywood glorified soft, feminine, deep beauty more (Pisces, Scorpio). Whereas those born in the mid-century and beyond glorify more distant, sharp, controlled, powerful, passionate looks (Scorpio, Sagittarius, Libra, Aquarius).

MOST COMMON MODALITY: Fixed (24), Cardinal (16), Mutable (15)

Fixed signs are, as its name suggests, fixed. They do not budge easily, and when they reach a certain position in life, they put in a lot of effort to keep that status. If famous, they tend to stay in the public mind for a long time.

The fixed signs are Taurus (5), Leo (5), Scorpio (8), and Aquarius (6). All 4 signs have a strong drive to become the best and make something of themselves. They could have tunnel vision sometimes when it comes to reaching their goals. All 4 could also have an obsessive streak.

MOST COMMON ELEMENT: Fire (17), Air (14), Earth/Water (12 each)

Fire signs are passionate, youthful, and put themselves out into the world. The 3 fire signs are Aries (4), Leo (5), and Sagittarius (8). All 3 signs are unafraid to be themselves and have a lot of drive. They are typically action-oriented, confident people.

MOST COMMON RULING PLANET: Venus (11), Jupiter/Pluto (8 each)

It is no surprise that the ruling planet that appears the most among personal planets is Venus. Venus is the planet of beauty, love, attraction, romance, relationships, likes, etc. It is considered a benefic planet; it bestows fortunes and brings ease to life and personality.

Venus rules Taurus (5) and Libra (6). Taurean beauty tends to have strong, sturdy features that look like they're all in the "right" place on the face (ex: Erika Linder has Sun/Mercury in Taurus; Olivia Hussey has Mercury/Mars in Taurus). They can look striking but not in an unconventional way, and they usually have good bone structure.

Libran beauty is harmonious; all their facial features look well-balanced on the face. Their faces usually look fresh, smooth, and "open." Nothing is placed together too close, and the forehead tends to be wider and rounder. (ex: Monica Bellucci has Sun in Libra; Han Ga In has Mars in Libra; Duckie Thot has Sun/Moon/Mercury in Libra)

Jupiter is another benefic planet that expands what it touches. It is associated with luck, fortune, growth, and things that reach far and wide (religion, higher education, travel, business, law, etc.) Jupiter is the modern ruler of Sagittarius. Sagittarius people tend to attract big things in life, whether money, luck, or just general opportunities. They tend to live life and see life through a large, optimistic lens where everything is an opportunity.

Below you'll see how Jupiter/Sagittarius themes have played out in some of these women's lives. These are details in each person's life that are well-known to the public.

Aishwarya Rai has Venus in Sagittarius. Sagittarius/Jupiter themes in her life include: studying classical dance and music in her youth, initially wanting to pursue a career in medicine or architecture [study, higher education], winning a Ford supermodel contest, winning the title of Miss World in 1994 [chance, opportunity]

Sagittarius/Jupiter themes in her life include: studying biochemistry at Plymouth State University [higher education], wanting to become a doctor, was discovered by chance at a Howard University homecoming when a photographer took her picture and posted it on Instagram [chance, luck], she was soon scouted by modeling agencies

Pluto rules Scorpio. Scorpio is a passionate, deep, transformative sign. These people tend to be drawn to intensity and exude intensity themselves too. And others are drawn into their real but guarded nature. They are stubborn, honest, and loyal. In a more negative light, they can be controlling and vindictive. Sometimes, a strong pluto placement or even just personal planets in Scorpio can mean run-ins with the law at one point in life and/or amassing a large following or wealth and prestige.

Aishwarya Rai has Sun/Mercury in Scorpio. She is very loyal to her family and lived with them until she married into one of the most renowned, if not the most renowned, Bollywood Hindi film families, the Bachchans.

Jennifer Connelly has Venus/Mars in Scorpio. Appearance-wise, she has darker features with her dark hair and brows. This is contrasted with her lighter eyes. Her face exudes a certain resoluteness that I see in many Scorpios.

Winona Ryder has Sun/Mercury/Venus in Scorpio. Like Jennifer Connelly, she has darker features that contrast against her pale skin tone. In 2001, she was arrested for shoplifting and was clinically depressed at the time. She was also given drugs by a quack doctor, who had his license revoked.

Duckie Thot has Venus in Scorpio. She's expressed a strong desire to never forget her South Sudanese roots and seems passionate about praying and being aware of where and under what circumstances her family came from.

Chiron is the most aspected planet. This was also the case in the Billionaire "study". Chiron is known as the wounded healer, someone who healed others but could not heal himself. Chiron did not fall into a dark spiral because he could not heal himself. Instead, he studied and practiced harder and became a better healer.

I do not think Chiron is directly related to beauty, but it shows sophistication, hard work, and improvement. It also shows hurt in life but having the resources to overcome it, if willing. This could be physical, emotional, mental, etc. pain.

I am also getting imperfectly perfect or perfect-but-with-that-ONE-downfall vibes from Chiron. I say this because Chiron rose above his station as a highly talented and educated centaur, but still, life could not be "perfect" due to his untreatable wound. Not perfect, but perhaps still fulfilling.

In the case of beautiful celebrities, models, (and billionaires), Chiron could point to someone who strives to make life better and rise above their station. They want to touch other people's lives, and they work hard to reach their own dreams. They could experience deep hurt but take steps to heal themselves.

MOST COMMON ASPECTS:

Uranus-Chiron (10/11), specifically Uranus opposite Chiron

This aspect is generational and shows an affinity for revolution and a desire to be free from societal pain.

Venus-Saturn (9/11)

For physical appearance, Venus-Saturn aspects have been touted as the aspect of models since Saturn makes Venus more angular, which means it gives structure to the face and body. Saturn can also make the body thinner, whereas Jupiter makes the body more voluptuous. Because the 10th house is the house of Saturn, these people could also make a career out of Venus-related things.

Venus-Saturn is known to make a person take love or beauty seriously. They are loyal in relationships and more of the slow burn types. Note that several of these Venus-Saturn women have been popularly linked to one person with whom they've been in a relationship for many years even if they're now divorced or if she's been in other relationships before/after:

This aspect shows a desire for improvement and learning through life lessons. There is a desire for enlightenment and expansion. But there may also be blockages the person will have to work through.

Sun-Mars (8/11)

Mars is a hard-to-ignore planet because it is confident, active, and energetic. Mars is a masculine planet, and so is the Sun. Sun-Mars people have a masculine edge to their personality and/or their appearance. What you see is what you get energy. Could be a little self-centered at times.

[Iman, Aishwarya Rai, Monica Bellucci, Han Ga In, Erika Linder, Olivia Hussey, Winona Ryder, Lee Young Ae] The only ones without this aspect are Jennifer Connelly, Duckie Thot, and Anok Yai.

In contrast, Jennifer Connelly has staid, controlled, internalized energy (Sun opposite Moon, square Pluto). Duckie Thot has a lighter, distant, and rebellious energy (Sun square Uranus/Neptune). Anok Yai has youthful, childlike, stimulating energy (Sun conjunct Mercury).

CONCLUDING THOUGHTS:

Something I found very interesting was that there were zero Sun-Venus aspects. This is typically an aspect astrologers and astrology fans deem a beauty aspect. I believe Sun-Venus can be a beauty indicator, but maybe it is not the type of beauty I am initially attracted to. I have Sun conjunct Mars in my chart, so perhaps that is why I find Sun-Mars people more attractive. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

I cannot say that these aspects and placements guarantee physical beauty. But it is interesting to see what pops up frequently. While doing these "studies," I find more commonalities in personality, vibes/energies, or life events rather than physical attributes.

Astro Observations - Synastry Edition

Based on my own synastry charts (supported by what other astrology enthusiasts have written online ✌️)

🙂 In synastry, Moon and/or Venus in aspect to Neptune may be good for a relationship. Too many Neptunian aspects may not be good since it muddles how we view the other person. Too many Saturnian aspects may not be good because it restricts expression or is too controlled. But having a touch of Neptune in synastry is an illusion and fantasy "cushion" that helps us overlook minor flaws and brings a romantic point of view to the relationship. We need a bit of fantasy to thrive!

🙂 The Moon is important in synastry since people are generally emotional beings. Prominent aspects to your or the other's Moon or Imum Coeli can show strong feelings of familiarity, comfort, and understanding. 4th House overlay, Moon conjunct Moon, and both Moons in the same signs also do this.

🙂 Planets in your 7th House, especially those conjunct your Descendant, can show people you are naturally attracted to and/or easily attract. For example, with Sun conjunct Mars in the 7th house conjunct the DC in Aquarius/Pisces, this person may attract or be attracted to more Aquarians (sign), Leos (Sun), Aries (Mars), Scorpios (Mars), Pisces (sign), people with prominent Suns or Mars, or generally more masculine people (Sun, Mars).

🙂 Having a lot of quintile or biquintile in synastry can show a relationship that is creative, fun, and exciting in some way. These are like little sparks where the energy refreshes itself over again.

🙂 People whose planets are in the sign of your Mars could benefit you because they push you to do things. Something about the chemistry between you two could be action-oriented and exciting. But, this person could also be annoying to you for the same reason. Even if they are not pushing you to do things, something about their energy can rub you the wrong way. Disagreements can rise quickly but fall quickly too. Also applies to Mars conjunctions in synastry.

🙂 More often than not, the sign on your 12th house cusp is the sign you are least likely to see in someone you're serious about. (This does not mean you hate people with that sign.) If you have 12th house overlays with someone you like, it will most likely be the sign that your Ascendant shares, not the sign on your 12th house cusp.

🙂 12th house overlays are hard to grasp. In theory, it feels like everything should be great (depending on what aspects and placements you and someone have in synastry). But in practice, something feels like it's missing and/or not in control. People who don't mind this overlay may be very in tune with their spiritual side or constantly trying to unpack their subconscious.

CLOSING STATEMENTS

Marilyn Monroe has the most beauty asteroids in her 4th house (Scorpio, Sagittarius) [7/32]. The sign that appeared the most is a tie between Cancer, Scorpio, and Pisces (all the water signs) [5/32 for all 3 signs].

Audrey Hepburn has an overwhelming number of beauty asteroids concentrated in the 7th house (Leo, Virgo, Libra). When I say overwhelming, I mean she has almost half of all these beauty asteroids in her 7th house [15/32]. Her most common sign is a tie between Virgo and Libra [7/32 for both]

Elizabeth Taylor's most common house is the 3rd (Pisces, Aries) and 8th house (Cancer, Leo, Virgo) [6/32 for both]. The most common sign is a tie between Scorpio and Pisces [6/32 for both].

Grace Kelly has a lot of beauty asteroids concentrated in her 1st house (Scorpio, Sagittarius) [9/32]. The most common sign is Scorpio [8/32], with Sagittarius as a close second [7/32].

Several formations, mainly Grand Trines, were made with asteroids and major planets. Most were in Marilyn and Elizabeth's charts.

Grace Kelly had many prominent asteroids related to royalty/nobility, which matches the fact that she became a royal [Kleopatra, Godiva, Regulus, Helena, Nefertiti].

All 4 women have become icons through their photographs and movies. Marilyn and Grace’s Photographica are aspecting their Vertex (destiny). Marilyn and Audrey have Photographica aspecting angular Moon, Venus, Neptune, AC. Elizabeth’s Photographica is conjunct her Neptune (film, illusion) and opposite her Sun/Mercury.

Sirene 1009

All have Sirene aspecting Mercury or in the 3rd house (seductive, enchanting voice) like an actual siren. Marilyn and Audrey were known for singing as well.

There are many iconic Golden Age actresses, but I feel like these four are the most talked about and referenced even today. This is an ongoing "study," so I will definitely look at other iconic Golden Age actresses and celebrities now in the future.

OFFSHOOT: Venus in Aries = Many Relationships?

Not related to beauty but notice that Grace Kelly (Venus in Libra) only married once and stayed married. Whereas Marilyn Monroe, Audrey Hepburn, and Elizabeth Taylor (Venus in Aries) each married and divorced more than once.

Venus is in detriment in Aries, meaning it is in the sign opposite of the sign(s) it rules. Aries (and Scorpio) is ruled by Mars. Libra and Taurus are ruled by Venus.

In detriment, Venus does not express Venus qualities or themes as easily. Many Venus in Aries people confuse lust, attraction, and the honeymoon stage for real, lasting love. Although I did not find any Moon-Venus aspects, Moon and Venus are the 2 most aspected planets. Both are feminine planets, which is no surprise in our little study. Moon is associated with our basic femininity and our emotions, which matches the acting part of our subjects' lives. All four women acted as a career but also had to put on an act outside since they were always in the public eye. I would imagine this requires a level of emotional regulation, knowing when to express certain things and when to keep feelings to yourself. Venus is associated with beauty, aesthetics, and love. All four of these women were known for these themes.

Jupiter and Neptune tie back to the Pisces energy. Pisces tend to have a flowing, ethereal vibe; they seem out of reach. This makes sense since these four do not give off girl-next-door vibes. They exude glamour that can't be easily attained.

Jupiter and Neptune are also expansive planets, referring to their fame and wide reach. Jupiter is a benefic planet and bestows many fortunes and luck. Note that the typically malefic planets like Mars, Saturn, and Pluto are in the bottom half of the list. Neptune is often associated with illusions, beauty, art, photography, and film, blurring reality and non-reality. I believe these four are still famous because they utilized reality and non-reality very well.

Astro Observation: Evidence that Astrology is real in Film Director and Auteur Charts

Looking at astrological "coincidences" in the filmmaking world + commonalities in auteurs' charts

VESTA - frequent collaborations, loyalty

🎞 Martin Scorsese has worked with Robert De Niro in 10 films and Leonardo DiCaprio in 6. He keeps going back to the same actors as many auteurs do. In their synastry charts, De Niro and DiCaprio's Vestas (loyalty, devotion) are conjunct and opposite Scorsese's Saturn (career, the long haul).

🎞 Quentin Tarantino's most frequent collaborator is Samuel L. Jackson. In their synastry, Tarantino's Moon (emotionality) trines a lot of Jackson's planets, and Jackson's Venus (beauty, aesthetics, style) trines a lot of Tarantino's planets. Jackson's Vesta is also conjunct Tarantino's Neptune (film, illusion).

When we break down the personal planets, ascendants, and midheavens of all the famous blonde actresses in Alfred Hitchcock's films, the most common sign is Leo. Hitchcock's Venus is in Leo.

Aries, Virgo, Scorpio, and Pisces all tied for second place, with Mars-ruled signs being the most common sign ruler. Hitchcock's Moon is in Scorpio.

Astro Observations from personal experience

🧐 More observations about me and real people in my life

☝️ People with both Venus and Mars in Cancer are very nurturing. All the Venus/Mars in Cancer people I know have a strong maternal or paternal vibe. They always make sure people around them are provided for, feel comfortable, are prepared, etc. Sometimes they can be too fussy or bossy. They have a strong attachment to family and family values.

☝️ I met a family member whose Mercury was conjunct my Mercury EXACTLY. Same sign, same degree. We also shared the same sun sign. Only met this person twice, and something just felt very familiar, like we process things in the same way. Granted, they are literally family, but I feel like this aspect and our sun signs took kinship to a different level. Looked up that person's chart afterward and saw this aspect.

☝️ Sun conjunct Midheaven people are highly ambitious. You'll notice these people frequently talk about and work towards their goals. They always have plans for their future and typically achieve some level of wealth, status, comfort, etc. In youth, they struggle with wanting to achieve but not getting there fast enough.

Someone I know who has this sounds like she's living the life now; she's earning good money, moved to a nice place in a different state, goes skiing with friends all the time, etc. A cousin of mine who has this aspect has a lot of ambitious goals for self-improvement and his future career, and he is only just going into high school.

☝️ It's a little hard for me to get close to people who share my exact birthdate, especially those around my age. It's not that we fight, but something feels too similar and familiar. I think because we share the same sun sign, our egos clash. If they're around my age, we have similar aspects too. So, I almost feel vulnerable around them, like they know all my weaknesses.

☝️ I know a few Libras and Tauruses who have a hard time sticking to finishing school. Unless they take classes that truly interest them and are invested in what they're being taught, they have difficulty doing the whole going through years of high school or college just to get a diploma. Since both are Venusian signs, there's an innate desire to do something they like and feel comfortable with. So forcing themselves to finish school just for the sake of it is not a good enough reason. But I will say that when Tauruses make a decision, they do have staying power.

I have a similar temperament as my dad, and I think it's from our Saturn-ruled Sun and Mercury, plus Fire Venus, and most obviously from our Pisces Mars.

I feel very similar to my mom too, and I see this coming from the opposite Aquarius-Leo energy plus our antiscia signs like Aquarius-Scorpio, and Virgo-Aries. We mirror each other. (I will get to an antiscia post in the future)

This might sound like I'm reaching, but it seems to make a lot of sense. Try it yourself with your family's charts, and maybe you'll understand where I'm coming from.

EXHIBIT #3

I could say that my sister's Moon in Gemini comes from our parents' Virgo (Mercurial)/Sagittarius placements. And maybe her Mercury in Aries and my Venus in Aries come from the fire in my parents' charts.

But I think the Gemini and Aries come from further up the family tree than just my parents. BECAUSE my two cousins have these in their charts too.

My cousins, my sister, and I are the Three Four Musketeers. We are similar in age, are very close, and pretty much grew up together.

Cousin #1 has Moon in Gemini like my sister. Cousin #2 has Sun in Gemini. And yes, they are all talkative and social people.

Cousin #2 also has Moon in Aries, which works with my sister's Aries Mercury, and my Aries Venus. Our energies and humors just MATCH.

5th house cusp shows children and pregnancy. My mom's birth time is a little more accurate than my dad's (just a few minutes off), so I'll use her 5th house in Aquarius. I'm very Aquarius, so that matches. And my sister's Uranus is conjunct her Ascendant and her chart ruler is in Aquarius.

In our birth charts, my sister and I have major aspects between Sun-Mars, Sun-Pluto, and Mars-Pluto.

We both have angular Suns, Mars, and Plutos.

We also have Juno in Aquarius quintile Pluto despite being in different degrees. We are 5 years apart, so it can't be because our birth dates are close.

These aspects are not in our parents' charts. But it's something that links my sister and me together.

Rooney Mara and Joaquin Phoenix both have Pluto opposite a luminary. This gives both people a plutonic flavor; we do not know Joaquin's Moon exactly, but he is already Scorpionic. On top of that, each person has a lot of Mars conjunctions or Aries in their birth charts. Generally speaking, we could say both people are very in tune with their Mars sides.

Also, notice that Rooney's Aries Sun is closer to Taurus, which allows it to be opposite her Scorpio Pluto instead of inconjunct. Rooney Mara's Sun activates a lot of Joaquin Phoenix's personal planets (Mercury, Venus, Mars) plus a generational planet (Uranus). Her Mercury also activates his Pluto.

From Joaquin's side, his Sun activates her Pluto. His Moon aspects her Mercury and Venus, but his Moon is inaccurate, so I would take this with a grain of salt.

There are 2 double whammies: Venus-Pluto and Mars-Pluto. Many astrologers say these aspects are very intense, and not everyone can handle them well. But seeing that both people are intense and passionate on their own, these aspects in their synastry might not be overwhelming since they are already attuned to this energy.

Composite Chart

Looking at their composite chart, they do not have a lot of Mars aspects. Instead, Venus and the outer planets are more heavily aspected. Makes me think that despite all their Mars energy, they are not aggressive or combative with each other. It's nice to see their composite Jupiter conjunct their North Node. They work towards growing and learning from each other. Values and life philosophies match. Both want to make each other feel happy and are generous toward each other.

Concluding Thoughts

Separately, both have quirky, odd personalities but are still charming and magnetic. Aries tend to have quirky personalities, and Scorpios are also known to be unconventional (Uranus is exalted in Scorpio). Aries, Scorpio, Mars, and Pluto are also two of the most passionate signs/planets in astrology. Both are intense in their own way.

I do not know them personally, so I cannot say what they are like. But, the composite Jupiter conjunct North Node seems true since both are into animal rights, veganism, and environmental issues. And true to their signs, both people are outspoken and passionate about these issues.

I find this coupling so interesting because both are so much of one sign that is ruled by the same planet. And they've come together!
