LOKI (2021): A SUMMARY

Loki show is ending and I just want to say that while we all had our own issues with this show, this still managed to be way better than many many popular Hollywood movies and TV shows

I have many reason to love the Loki show but what struck me most is that-

Sophia Di Martino 37 years

Gugu Mbatga-raw 38 years

Wunmi Musaku - 33 years

Two of them are POC

All of them are badass

Also Tom is 40 so it's nice to see female characters around his age. Hollywood has a weird fetish of casting women half of the men's age *caugh* Tom cruise movies*caugh*

No huge age gap between Tom and Sophia. No boob or butt shot. No sexualising of women yet still managed to portray them attractive.

No sexist remarks. No belittling of women's power or ability.

It's been refreshing to watch it without cringing about sexist jokes. Cause there was none.

And I love it. Thank you Kate Herron for being a better director than most of your peers.
