Why Princess Bubblegum is scum: a quick review

Probably the argument I bring up the most is the genocide of the Rattleballs. She really did that !! created an army of sentient soldiers and killed them all because they had morality and judgment. She settles on Banana Guards, who hold the same characteristics of the other candy people; generally passive.

Of course can’t forget how she also attempted to genocide the Fire Kingdom because of their resources. Locked an adolescent Fire Princess in jail (a large lantern) for her whole kingdom to observe?! For what punishment exactly?! Casually attempts to access their top-secret weapons and kill everyone?

A more broad argument is how she creates people in a lab (lemongrab, goliad, etc) and when they become corrupted she shrugs, pushes the problem somewhere else, no accountability. AND REPEATS. Creating people in a lab for personal gain is wild work imo.

This list could go on for a while but I think a lot of us as kids glazed over the fact she was a dictator.

1. place a white (positivity), black (negativity) and green/dark blue candle (healing & abundance) in a triangle formation. green/dark blue being at the point and black and white being at the base

2. light white candle with the intention of positive energy. Conscience thoughts of what you want to bring in. ex: abundance, love, friendship, career. Emphasize new beginnings.

3. Call upon The Mother, The Maiden and The Crone. Use bell to call upon them in Goddess position (arms above your head in a V shape & feet shoulder length apart) “Mother, Maiden and Crone, I ask thee to cleanse the negative energy of me and invite abundance”

4. light black candle with the intention of negative energy leaving. Ex: toxic people, hate, hurt. Emphasize leaving the negative behind and it being banished

5. Repeat step 3.

6. Pause and let the energy set in

7. light green (or dark blue) candle with the intention to heal. Visualize healing and life with love, light and joy.

8. Repeat step 3.

9. reflect in silence/meditate or for neurodivergent folks practice mindfulness/or have a moment of peace for ten minutes (ten minutes is important)

10. waft out out black and white candles and let green candle burn until a stump

11. End with “Blessed Be The Maiden, Mother and Crone. As above so below”

12. End

Girl you ARE NOT playing the beauty community this hard..

I had to do a deep-dive on Youthforia as a brand and I can say I’m disappointed through and through.

The conversation began when Youthforia (A small business with no budget [to create perfection]) created a foundation line with minimal/ zero inclusively. After 3 years we have the “New, Inclusive and Revamped” range. We get what? the darkest shade that consists of only black pigment; no attempt of undertones. Eek..

When mixed with lighter shades it turns grey. Be for real.

There are so many levels of shady from the brand owner. The darkest shade started as a swatch listed on their site. Then they found models at a mall kiosk-type of situation. It did not appear to match them and was posted on the Youthforia site/Tik Tok page as an Ad.

This was not created as a mix-in formula. If it was why don’t we have a stark white mix-in to complete the range? Because it is a glorified “Lux” black face paint. Time to close up shop…

Catharsis

the process of releasing, and thereby providing relief from, strong or repressed emotions.

My first interaction with this word was in a Humanities college course; a Gen-Ed. I was mesmerized by its intriguing nature in describing art.

I think the modern woman chooses her actions based on whether it’s for, “the plot” & for “the lore”. Which I agree with. Being in my 20’s I really value doing things because it tells a story. I think how would should describe this is Catharsis.

An example: Going to a Catholic Church and repenting to a priest for your sinful actions but in reality it is an Always Sunny in Philadelphia plot. “I’m repenting today Father because I got addicted to cr*ck and applied for welfare”.

Not only is that a great piece of lore, but it is art. I’m quite critical of catholics & catholicism and would repent satirically. Catharsis can be actions. I aspire to create art by stories and the feeling of living my life through art.
