Here's how it works:

Commissions are paid for through a donation to any of the Donation Options listed on the dcufans4palestine's Carrd. I will only start work on your commission after I have proof of donation.

Day 44-47 of 47 days until End of Finals

Hiya!

Sooo... I got sick. I got norovirus after submitting my second-to-last assignment, and that sucked. So, here's what I did in those last four days.

Today I:

Finished and submitted my Screenwriting portfolio.

Let my bio-parent measure me for my graduation gown and rented it out.

Packed and went home.

Started having the worst time.

Came to the morning my last assignment was due without the ability to get another EC, so I ended up submitting an incomplete piece of work that was basically a fully written and sourced paragraph with my essay plan attached, but 40-50% is probably better than a 0%.

And so ends my undergrad degree with a very underwhelming and ill whisper.

Sorry it took so long to add this. I really was not well. Thank you for being there over the last month and a half of my degree!

Hello!

We march onwards and I'm in assignment town.

Today I:

Reserved my tickets for graduation.

Wrote the screenplay sample for my screenwriting portfolio.

Went to the dentists. My teeth are good and now have an appointment for next year.

Started reading a new book.

Wrote the commentary for my screenplay sample.

Work town! We love it!

Day 42 of 47 days until End of Finals

Hi!

So, I'm at home again. I didn't mean for this to genuinely trip me up, but I suppose going so hard for three weeks was going to have its consequences.

Today I:

Played some Animal Crossing. After three weeks without it, I decided to pick up and play for a bit. I even bought turnips again.

Planned the thesis statements for each paragraph of my Villains & Vigilantes essay (I did do some work).

Other than that, I didn't do a lot. My body is slowing down a bit, I think.

Day 40 and 41 of 47 days until Dissertation Deadline End of Finals

Hello hello!

I moved the goalposts again. And skipped two days because after my dissertation I was exhausted and events were happening.

Over these past fews days I:

Collected my suit trousers and went to the Humanities Ball.

Watched the Northern Lights in my own garden.

Packed and did my chores.

Went home because I have a dentists appointment.

All tiring things, as you can see, especially after handing in my final project. But I'm back on the grind because I still have a portfolio and an essay to go, so I'll talk to you later.

Day 39 of 39 days until Dissertation Deadline

Hello!

Man, I didn't think we'd get here, but we did! Don't mind the lack of picture, think of it as I was working too hard to think about it.

Today I:

Submitted my final dissertation! Admittedly there was a brief few hours when I thought it was going to be capped at 40 due to submitting 8 minutes late, but it's not going to be penalised. And it's done.

It feels underwhelming to write that now. I'm sure I'll move the goalposts tomorrow for the end of my finals, which should be next week. But for now, I requested a reasonable accommodation on my essay deadline for tomorrow because my head is pounding, so I'm going to go to bed.

Day 38 of 39 days until Dissertation Deadline

Hihi!

I'm posting this at 5am on Day 39. I'm still working. Hopefully, I'll have good news to give you tomorrow, but today you get a progress update.

Today I:

Had a mental health appointment, which was fun. I'm always surprised when I have more sessions left.

Sent my suit trousers in for hemming.

Changed my bed because it was feeling gross.

Started a load of laundry because I was also running out of underwear.

Finished paragraph 1 and 2 of Chapter 1 of my dissertation. I also started my dissertation introduction with a banger of a line.

So work and chores. I get no rest. Oh boy.

Day 37 of 39 days until Dissertation Deadline

And we're back on time again! Woo!

Actually, we're technically early because I'm exhausted and want to go to sleep. But it's still just in time for me to have good news!

Today I:

Submitted both my portfolio and commentary! One out of two final projects in and two out of five separate assignments in.

Collected The History of Sexuality from the library so I can add it to my dissertation once I'm no longer dead on my feet.

Cleared the cans from my room.

Vaguely planned my Villain & Vigilantes essay on Todoist.

Updated my bullet journal because I hadn't touched it since Day 33.

We got a win, boys! And hopefully, we'll get another tomorrow. No sleep for the wicked, nor for the snowed in under work.

Did you know that this is the furthest I've ever gotten into one of these challenges? I've gotten to Day 35 before, but never day 36.

Once again I'm writing this a day late. This time it's because I was busy writing my portfolio, so you can't be too mad.

Went grocery shopping.

Day 35 of 39 days until Dissertation Deadline

Hello!

Another late one with no pictures. Goddamn. And on a chore day too. Although there weren't a lot of chores for a chore day.

But it's okay because today I:

Continued edits on my portfolio. The deadline is in two days, so I forced myself to overcome the instinctive tantrum I have when I see how badly my supervisor missed the point and got about 6-7 pages done.

FaceTimed my dad. It's her birthday tomorrow (today).

Wrote my shopping list. I also intended to go shopping but my executive dysfunction said no.

So yeah, not great. Hoping tomorrow (today) will be better.

Day 34 of 39 days until Dissertation Deadline

Another late one with no pictures, but in my defence I had a really bad day.

Today I:

Showered, like I do every two days. I don't usually mention it, but on a survival kind of day it's a bit of an achievement.

Watched MCC from Scar's POV until Sands of Time.

Worked a little on my portfolio. Not nearly enough, but I did.

So not a lot at all because my hormones hate me. If you saw Day 4, you'll probably see this is alarmingly regular.
